I am a fan (and you should be too), because Chris Daughtry, Jeremy Brady, Joey Barnes, Josh Paul, and Josh Steely are the best things to happen to the current music industry. From Chris’s audition, I knew he had an amazing amount of potential and I voted for him each time, including the tragic night he left the show. In a way, this night was possibly the best night of his life, because not only did he gain more fans due to resentment of the show but he was able to cast aside the limits that Idol would have placed on him. But for me, due to be illimitable devotion towards Chris on the show, that night was tragic. I cried non-stop and played over and over the clips I had downloaded from his performances on American Idol. I was so angry, that I even stopped watching the show for two weeks, then I was suckered back in, but either way, the show was never the same. His finale performance with Live, helped him to gain even more respect in my eyes, as I am sure it equally affected several other people. Chris’ voice is intoxicating and beautiful at the same time and any song with his voice in it will never be overplayed in my eyes. I have watched American Idol every season, but I have to say, I can see him being equally successful, if not more successful to Kelly Clarkson. This situation is where the rest of the band comes in; Chris could not have picked better band members. Jeremy is absolutely gorgeous and his eyes are incredible. Not only is he absolutely gorgeous, as many other people agree, he is the sweetest guy ever, as I have seen from speaking to him on MySpace. Joey is incredibly sexy and I am sure he is equally as kind as Jeremy, although I have not been able to speak to him yet, hopefully, I can get to have the opportunity through this contest. The rest of the guys, JP and Josh Steely, are equally as talented and amazing. Together, the band has put together an absolutely fantastic compilation of songs which all pull on one’s emotions. Songs like Breakdown and Crashed show the extreme power of Chris’ voice and the amazing instrumental skills of the band. In reality, every single one of the songs on the CD are equally amazing, when I try to pick favorites, I truly cannot, as my favorites change with the day. I am sure if anyone, even including non-rock fans, took the time to listen to the tracks they would be astonished by the raw and amazing talent given off. I cannot exclaim how proud I am of the band for reaching the number one spot for their CD. The spot is definitely deserved as there is not one weak song in the piece. There is no one like Daughtry in music today, and there will never be any time in the future. Daughtry is full of talent, power, looks, strength, emotions, and the list goes on and on. Thank you all so much for taking the time to credit such an amazing and record-breaking CD, you have all made my year. If anyone doesn’t own a copy of Daughtry, they should immediately run out and buy it now, as I can guarantee, that it is a CD which will make anyone’s music collection.
