Daughtry Please come back to the Ohio State Fair between July 30th and August 10th 2008!!!
I know I started this thread a little early but I just came across the Dates for the 2008 Ohio State Fair!!! The 2008 Ohio State Fair will happen between July 30th and August 10th 2008!!! I would love to see Daughtry come back to the Ohio State Fair! The concert acts haven't been released yet so I'm not sure if another Daughtry show at the fair may already be in the works. But it's worth a shot.

I am impatient and I hate waiting. LOL
BUT I know once things are confirmed and they have the info to share they will.
Bon Jovi will be in Detroit on July 7th BUT I dont think Daughtry will be supporting them this summer, atleast that is what someone told me...SOOOo BRING ON THE HEADLINED SHOWS..After some much needed rest of course!!

When I just checked my email and saw "Ohio State Fair Concert Announcement" I was excited, but no Daughtry
Oh well, hope they come to The LC or somewhere in OHIO but, looks like there will be another road trip!!!

I have been to many many concerts at the LC inside and out, I like outside better there is a TON of room and every spot is great. There are not seats outside. The only seats inside are in the VIP/Season ticket holders. Which is also a good view, I sat there before.
Nick Lachey played at the Ohio theater or the Palace, I get them confused but it was an AMAZING SHOW!! I was there, 2nd row! Nick is another one of my FAVORITES(I actually did see him at the LC as well for Jingle Ball)
HOPEFULLY they make it back to OHIO!! But like I said, the Ohio state fair isnt making any announcements til May.
Maybe I need to investigate with my contact at the LC!

I've only been to The LC once so I'm not sure where their handicap accessible seating is. It looked like any seating was a good view, but to be honest it was a group I never heard of and it was during Red, White and Boom last year so I was in the bar the whole time
We got free tickets from a friend. But from what I remember it looked like all seats had a good view of the stage, and since the venues not that big even the lawn seats weren't that far. Have you been there before??

I want them to play at a venue that is "handicap fan friendly" I know all or most of the venues have to be accessible. But some venues are just set up better than others when it comes to wheelchair bound fans being able to be closer to the stage(without having to be moved). I think all venues should have a section on the floor for handicap fans with no obstructions in front of the stage. I agree Daughtry needs to come any-damn -where in O-H-I-O!!!!!

As long as it's O-H-I-O! The LC in Columbus would be awesome too! I love outdoor venues and I'd love to see them play there...especially since there's no more Germain Amphitheatre!
And again, STS would be a great opener

is a good one for people in wheelchairs. I am in a wheelchair. For the first time ever I went to a concert and didn't have to be moved in order to see the stage. I've had floor seats to other shows but couldn't see because people were blocking my view. I had front row seats to the Daughtry show. For once in my life, I didn't have to sit up at the top of the venue because I am in a wheelchair. A lot of venues have the handicap seats up off the floor
This isn't meant to sound rude for anyone reading this but people who are in wheelchairs want to enjoy the shows that they bought tickets to as well. It's not fair that a lot of the handicap seating makes you feel that you are not "part of the show" because they are typically so far from the stage(Usually nosebeleed seats.) At the fair's venue, the 200 section has stairs so no matter what a wheelchair bound person couldn't get up there. I wish all the venues were set up like the fair's venue. I think all of the handicap seating should be on the floor at every venue in the country with nobody in front of it. It doesn't have to be front row just an unobstructed view of the stage. I already had front row seats to the Daughtry show, but when I went into the venue I was happy to see the stairs leading to the 200 section because I knew that someone in a wheelchair couldn't get there so they were on the floor.
I would go anywhere Daughtry plays though and I would buy front row seats again!!!!
