Daughtry REALLY needs to tour in the Philippines and in other countries in Asia!!!!
Daughtry is huge in the Philippines! At the biggest radio station in Manila of their year end countdown, Daughtry was named the following: "Best Alternative Artist of the Year", "t's Not Over" as "Best Alternative Song of the Year", "Over You" as "Best Song from a former American Idol".
I also think that Daughtry should tour in other Asian countries like Japan. I watched a program about Bon Jovi and the show said that Bon Jovi first made it big in Japan and then made it in the U.S. and Europe.
Time to do some World Touring Daughtry!!!

He definitely should tour on Asia .. such as Japan , Philippines, Malaysia , Bahrain & Dubai it would be awesome coz Dubai had so many singers such as Shakira .. Santana … Gloria Est… Elton John and others to come

They need to combine an Asian tour with Australia and New Zealand later in the year. We all have dreams of seeing them 'live'.

I know we shouldn't stop hoping they'll get their cute butts in our part of the world!!
Well, last year we had several big time artists doing concerts here. My Chemical Romance is set to do a concert next month or this mo (I think? I saw the billboards can't see the dates) and Maroon 5 will be here on March 5th. I remembered watching Fall Out Boy last year, though I was part of the singing rockin crowd, can't help wishing for Daughtry to blast my ears off too!
Good to know a lot of you guys feel the same way I do!!

Please do not give up hoping that Daughtry is doing a world tour. As squishy wrote, being so popular ( DAUGHTRY is the #1 selling album for the Billboard year 2007, the #5 selling album for the calendar year 2007 & the #4 best selling digital album of ALL TIME!) they gotta step out of North America. The event section displays only USA and Canada at the moment, but just believe, it will be our turn soon - be positive.

Haha, I guess everybody here can relate to the not- waking- up part in the middle of a Chris dominated dream!!!
My dream was that Daughtry really did a concert here and I was interviewing Chris alone near the stage after the concert. (nice huh?)The whole scene actually looked more like after a rehearsal though. There were just the cleaning guys around and there weren't that many people left. While I was listening to him I kept looking for my friends and they were nowhere in sight! Nonetheless....
I remembered being a too nervous and not really believing it happening ( of course it really wasnt!! but it felt so real!! sob! sob!) and I tried so hard to look calm and all but ended up warbling words and maybe asking inane questions. I felt like a total loon but in my dream, Chris was all nice and calm and wiping off sweat from his face ( can i do that pls???, my mind screamed,My heart kept doing a wild polka on my chest while my lungs were like wrecking balls on my ribs ). He was sitting on the edge of the stage and i was on the steps of the stairs. Ok sorry for being all lengthy and stuff but since this maybe the only time I'll ever see the guy of my dreams up close, grant me the moment to relish it. hehehe.
I can't remember exactly what we said, but i can remember his face so clear, that magnificent head, the way he speaks- that accent, u know, the crystal beads of sweat pouring down his brows. It's like watching everything in slow motion. My mouth went dry, and then he smiled, oh my goodness!!
I must have fainted in my dream coz that's when i I woke up. Dang! you know how it is when after u wake up u go on not remembering anything then suddenly it all floods back to you in the middle of the day, in the most unlikely moment ? Well, that's how it was with me. I was basting ribs in the oven when suddenly I froze, my eyes bulged and gasped out loud. My mom dropped a bunch of spoon she was drying and asked me what's wrong. And there I was with a stupid grin on my face, breathlessly whispering in wonderment- "I dreamed of Chris last night...oh oh,..hoooly night!!"
And oh yeah, it happened on Christmas night. Definitely one of the nicest gifts i got !!!
If ever they do a concert here I hope to heaven I live long enough to see it- if the anticipation doesn't kill me first!!
By the way I would dearly love to read a personal account of how Chris is really in person. Anybody??Sigh! That's how pathetic I am!!!

Hey hey, you are so right there squishy! I've been saying the same thing over and over !!
Anyway, what radio station was that? Coz yesterday I was listening to a replay of the Magic's Top 5 Songs of the Year and ITS NOT OVER was number one!! It stayed on the top spot for a record breaking 25 days!!! I was silently screaming my head off as i heard it just as i was hurrying on home. hahahaha!! And Joey and Miles, those are the djs who do the countdown everyday said,right before they announced the song of the year that the band is all over, that they swept the awards and that the year 2007 was really their year. Hurrah, couldnt agree more!!
By the way Taylor Hicks did a mall tour here and well, it didn't even make any waves. Did you catch him squishy? Elliot's was the talk of the town though. Well if it were Daughtry.....
Hey guys, what more proof do you want to make you come here?? I am so obssesed with these thoughts I dreamed of Chris the other night. Oh my gosh, I never wished so hard to sleep for a whole week! Make that a month, or two, or hmmm... you get the picture!

We had some radio promo last year but no real gig (I don't count NRJ night in Stuttgart 1st DEC as its more a pop music event) so lots of us are longing to have Daughtry rockin' on stage here.
