Why am I a fan? Because to me, Daughtry stands for many different things. They stand for family values. No matter how big they've become in what seems like a short amount of time, they've remained grounded, to their families. Realizing that without the love,dedication and determination their family members have given to each of them to help make their dreams a reality and they show their appreciation for the beliefs their family has given to them.
They also stand for strength to me. While struggling with everyday life as we all do, they never gave up on what their hearts cried out for. Their love for music. They didn't allow anything to stand in the way of their dreams.
Of coarse to me, they also stand for love. Not just for the love that they show their families that have stood by them during their road to success, but for the love, honesty and loyalty that they each show their fans. In a world where so many people take so many things for granted, these guys go the extra mile. So many celebrities take their fans for granted. These guys actually realize that although their talents are amazing, they realize that without their fans, they wouldn't be as successful as they have become and they show their appreciation. Now, that's devotion.
And of coarse, another reason why I am a fan is because I absloutely love their music. I find that each song relates to everyone even if it's on a different level.
I'm so proud to be a Daughtry fan...The world is your playground guys.....congratulations on everything you've accomplished so far. I can't think of a more deserving group of guys. I hope that you're enjoying the ride. WE LOVE YOU!!!!!
