He's an amazing songwriter. Back to Me is my favorite Daughtry song. I know the studio version would be awesome.

I wonder if Home is Deanna's favorite, since he's singing about coming home to her. Isn't that so sweet?

Where Chris gets his inspiration to write all these songs? Like "You Don't Belong" is about addiction.. but has he dealt with that first hand?

and "Back to Me" is about looking back on a past relationship and all you want is them to take you back...

and "Home" of course.. he wrote before Idol.. just thinking about what life on the road would be like.. hmm..

He has amazing talent thats for sure. As well as the rest of the guys. I mean come on, B-Crad helped Chris write "By the Way" by Theory of a Deadman and thats a super amazing song...

Anyway just some food for thought I guess. hah Anyone agree?

I was worried because I saw that vid on youtube where
in the middle of the song they did that trick backstage
on Chris & were laughing at him-- Chris mentioned
something about getting too mushy on the song-wanted
to make sure they knew how we all loved it!!! I might have

Yes, intoxicating is a good word!!! I walk around at the
supermarket, driving in my car-- where ever --w/this song
and others in my head!!! I think I have finally got to the
point where I can't listen to the Daughtry cd anymore-
I need new stuff!! so, I keep listening to absent element
- love "Keep me close"- goes round and round in my head
too!! This sounds crazy ,but last month I went 2 weeks and
played no Daughtry!!!! yes, girls it was hard, but when I
finally played it - it was like "absence makes the heart
grow fonder"!!!! I missed it so much it was great getting
back to all the songs again!!! the ones they overplay on
the radio I give a rest and skip to all the others on the cd!!!!
I really missed that there were no covers at the Soundstage
show-- the most exciting part of the live shows is when he
surprises you w/ a new cover and also when he jokes around
w/the fans!!! Love that stuff!!!

I absolutely love this song. I actually just came across it today and was like wow! He better put this on the second album. I am so incredibly jealous of all of you that actually got to hear it live!! I wanna go to a concert!!!!

That song is my absolute favorite. I had almost the entire thing (audio) recorded on my cell phone and a week after the concert IT BROKE IN HALF. Now I have to settle for YouTube!!!!
