disappointed

I have to say what a great venue to see such a great band, however, I was unimpressed at the lack of interaction w/ the band and the crowd and was really shocked that Daughtry didn't thank his opening acts, unless I missed that. Every show I've ever been to (where Daughtry was the opening act twice), the headliner was very gracious and thanked them and boosted their ego, didn't hear that. Daughtry sounded amazing. I was also not impressed how the police implied that it was at Daughtry's request the street be cleared. I can understand to an extent because the crowed was big and they would have been mauled, but the police were rude to say the least. My husband did outsmart them and asked a homeowner if we could perch on their porch and they were fine w/ that but the police didn't like that too much in fact rang the woman's doorbell and asked if she knew us, once she said yes there was nothing the police could do. I guess we just wanted to get a glimpse of them but we got cold and headed out. The 2 opening bands; the first one I think if their sound problem had been hammered out would have been great and the 2nd the keyboardist was awesome, was upbeat positive music and can't wait to hear what their CD sounds like. Overall a good show but a dud of a crowd, I was the only idiot clapping my hands and be bopping in my chair w/ the first two bands (that I could see anyway). So I was disappointed in the majority of the crowd, a little graciousness to the first 2 bands would have been nice, let them know you appreciate them taking taking their time to come out and play, I'm sure they would have liked that, disappointed in the lack of interaction between daughtry and the crowd, disappointed in the city of reading but that's nothing new.
