I am a fan (and you should be too), because...
Chris is just the greatest. He was my favorite idol from the start...when he auditioned in that cowboy hat...there was just something different about him. I was so sad when he was voted off, but still knew that big things were ahead for him! My friends and I were so excited to hear he was doing a free concert in his hometown of Lasker, NC. We planned our short trip (we live near the state line, but in VA). When we pulled up , there was a $2 parking fee and I told the girls that it was the LAST time we would EVER see Chris Daughtry for only $2! I waited so patiently for the American Idol tour dates to be announced for Norfolk. They sold out within an hour and I never got through. I immediately emailed the venue and luckily was able to secure 2 really good seats. Chris was the best performer, as I expected. It was like he was born to be on the stage. I bought the CD the day it was released and haven't stopped listening to it yet. It's great. There is something on there for every genre! My husband rolls his eyes when I fill him with Daughtry facts (Billboard # 1, VH1 #1 video, National Anthem on NFC championship game, etc), but he knows that I am a TRUE fan, so he puts up with me! Best of luck to Chris and the rest of the band. You guys will go so far! Please don't change!!!
ps...I tried to get tickets to the APril 13th show in Raleigh, NC this morning, but it sold out in less than a minute!! PLEASE schedule some more dates soon! In VA would be GREAT! The NORVA in Norfolk, VA is a great place to have a concert, or the Ted Constant Center where you toured with AMerican Idol!!
