Hey, I went to two of the three dates to see the guys..First night, i didn't realize that Daughtry was coming on right at 7:30 so i missed maybe part of the first song but then stood and rocked to the rest of the standing up cause I didn't care if I was obstructing people's views at the time since that night was the most expensive tickets I've ever bought I paid way more than face value for 2 tickets so i was close enough...The show was amazing, i went out afterwards to see if there was any sign of any of the guys but nothing...

I was thinking about going to another show and ended up deciding at 1pm Thursday afternoon that i was going so i was trying to rush to make it down for MOD to see if i could catch a glimpse of the guys, but that backfired..My friend and I arrived at 6ish, soon as we got there in our cab from Niagara Falls yes to Toronto there was some scalpers that got our attention before we even got out of the car..they asked me where i wanted to sit, i said floors lucky enough he had 6th row, so scooped those up, again way more than face value. Waited for the line to die down a bit and went in and this time the guys are on earlier than 7:30 so the first song is started already but still made it and was standing gladly rocking out again. After the show, we went out to the buses to see if we could meet the guys...
again nothing, the shows were both amazing but the two days combined it was $2300 and still 0 for 3 for a Daughtry experience, hoping that Aug 21st won't be another

Just real quick, does anyone know why the big screens were not on for the Wed. night show? I am so happy for all of you who got to see them on the big screen at this show! You totaly got your money worth! And also I also did take a peek at the tour busses. Bon Jovi had about 10 but the good old Daughtry Brown and Cream colored busses were at the head of the line. They were kind of dirty so maybe hard to recognize but yet still there. They were all roped off with yellow tape (like that would of stopped me if I saw any of the guys)!

i can't begin to tell you how great he was!!! We sat first row right behind the stage!!! After he sang Blaze with Bon Jovi he actually waved at me and gave me the thumbs up!!! I can die a happy girl now!!!!

Daughtryfan the people around me were hooting and hollering along with us for Daughtry, maybe we were all up in the top rows because don't forget Daughtry wasn't on the playbill when the concert first went on sale for the 10th and 12th date. So I'm counting on more Daughtry fans being in the front rows on the 13th date.
Also the question on the standing for the songs. Even for Bon Jovi there was only a few songs that fans stood for. If you stood you blocked the person behind you but I saw a lot of fans rocking it out in the front rows for Daughtry even though they were sitting.

Thanks so much for your review and your pics!!!!!! I know Daughtry rocked the house there and I wish I could've been front row to show Daughtry A LITTLE MORE LOVE!!!!!!!! They truley are amazing!! Thanks again!

As you can see in panther's pics!(thanks by the way!) there are people right up front and they are sitting down!! WHY!!!! I hate it when people do this! I guess they were waiting for Bon Jovi but it just upsets me to see that while our guys are on rockin their hearts out!

I don't think that Daughtry would not come back to Canada based on people from Bon Jovi shows. They know that they had a ton of fans in the audience and probably even got more new fans as well (those just coming for Bon Jovi). I know when I went on 3-7-08 in CT, the crowd was very much into Daughtry. The crowd also went absolutely crazy when Chris came out to sing Blaze of Glory.

Unfortunatelty you had to deal with the people behind you but hey, just ignore them, that was your night!

Thanks so much for your review, good to know why the teletrons are not on when Daughtry is on stage. I have nose bleed seats so I hope the boys look bigger than ants, but as long as the sound system is good I'll be happy. Love the crowd picture, how awesome to be able to perform in an arena that size with fans going wild, also excited to know they are still doing Blaze. YEAH DAUGHTRY!!!!! Can't
wait to see them.

I was at the concert last night... truthfully I was more excited to see Daughtry than Bon Jovi, although both were EXCELLENT! I was extremely disappointed for Daughtry because the crowd just didn't get into it at all... the people sitting behind us asked us to sit down during daughtry's set. It infuriated me!! Collectively my group paid over $900 to come and enjoy an evening with Daughtry and people had the nerve to ask us not to enjoy ourselves?! Give me a break! It is a rock concert, can you truly enjoy it from your seat! Of course their true fans can enjoy them standing on our heads if need be, and i do give credit to the small groups of fans i could see and hear cheering them on! I was so excited to see them for the second time because the first show i saw was in a smaller venue... so I was thrilled to see them at the ACC and we were all ready to rock with them!! Unfortunately the crowd did not give them the appreciation they deserve... I just hope it doesn't keep them away from Toronto in the future... Hopefully people who attend Wednesday and Thursday's shows have better news!!!

Did they come out at 7:30 pm and how long was their set? How long did Bon Jovi play? I am asking because I might be able to go to the Thursday show but I would have to take the train in & don't want to miss the last train but I also don't want to miss the encores either

Thanks so much for the awesome review and the pics are amazing. I so wish I could have been there. I heard one of our local deejays on the radio today who went to the concert to see Bon Jovi and raved about Daughtry, especially when Chris came out to sing Blaze of Glory with them. So jealous! Thanks again and I will see them at the New York State Fair in August!!

Monday Night in Toronto to See Daughtry and Bon Jovi March 10
We went early hoping we might find a glimpse of the guys but no luck. We found the stage door and buses but not the actual buses they tour in. We wandered to surrounding hotels and coffee shops and stopped in Starbucks where I had a hot chocolate with whipped cream and Nicole had a Cappachino. We went across the road and grabbed a sandwich at a deli then went to a hotel that was close to the concert and relaxed on the couches.
Then we headed to the concert. The crowd of people going was amazing, never had I been to a Daughtry concert with this many people milling about. We met up with two of Nicole's friends and went into the concert.
Our seats weren't the best being up high and a bit behind the stage but from looking out over the stadium, it was so huge that I saw our seats really weren't that bad. On the floor if people stood up you wouldn't be able to see past them.
Daughtry came on stage and did their new song. I took a lot of shots at the teletron because it was closer to me. Pictures are a bit grainy but you can see ok on them. I phoned Helen on the first song so she could hear it. I heard after the sound was really good over the phone from Nicoles friends.
I was a little frustrated because the cameraman kept zeroing in on the guitar on Josh and never seemed to have the camera on JP so I had a hard time getting shots of them.

.Bon Jovi has to be the greatest show man I have ever seen, he has the patter down with the crowd and can get them to a frenzy with just a lift of his eyebrow. All I can say with Daughtry touring with Nickelback then BJ they are getting the best concert observance they can get. The RCA must think they will be as big as these guys. Not that we didn't already know that but it's good to know their publicity people feel that too.
Bon Jovi is so full of energy that I had to delete most of the pictures. You will see it on one here with Chris while they sang Blaze of Glory. Chris is clear and Bon Jovi is literally blurred.

One of the things that amazed me was the stage effects for Bon Jovi's concert. I know a lot of people have complained about him not sharing his teletrons so Chris can use them too but I found out last night why he can't. They aren't ordinary teletrons. They are programmed to do a certain thing for each song in Bon Jovi's set and probably can't be used to Daughtry's show. The only reason I was able to take pics was our arena had its own teletron.
Bon Jovi under darkness snuck into the crowd and sang right in the middle of the audience, Richie came out and joined him. This was very brave because there was people trying to climb over people to get to them and we saw people try to pull him into he crowd a couple of times.
Bon Jovi said the Toronto concert beat all records for attendance over every other concert in North America, check out the venue.

He did four encores, one being a tribute for Leonard Cohen who is Canadian where he sang Halleluyah who just got inducted into the Hall of Fame.
A very long concert I must say but lots of WOW factor!

And forgot to say, the last song Daughtry did on the set, the house was screaming!!!! And when Chris came out to sing with BJ again the house was screaming loudly!!! Toronto loves their Daughtry. People all around us who didn't really know them were saying, can't wait to hear their new CD and they thought they were awesome!!! This tour is truly bringing them more fans than they already had..

Hey, I know this has nothing to do with this event, but I have to tell you I love the picture you have as your profile picture of Chris and Deanna. Everytime I look at it I say "awwwwww". They are so cute I just want to squish them!

And back to this event, why are you VIPs and attendees holding out? Do you not know the process, haha! Go to the show then report to us ASAP!!
