On a different note.....a got to hear Blaze of Glory on Tuesday without Chris and then Wednesday with him and it was like an entirely different song. The power and feeling he puts into it just brought it to a whole different level. I think Jon is great, but the song is just better with the both of them!

I was able to get a group shot with the guys....but no concert shots. I am very thankful for our awesome seats, but my camera just takes blurry blob pictures from that distance. I'm not worried though. I'll live vicariously through Lisa G.'s pictures from other shows. I posted our picture late last night...but I'm not sure how long it takes!

It's hard to figure out where to start! This was truly an amazing experience that I will never forget. Tonight reminded me of why I love these guys as much as I do!

Unfortunately, I (like Krista) arrived at Will Call and there were no tickets waiting for me. I was so afraid that this wasn't going to happen. But they soon resolved the problem and we were on our way. The seats were great (but not on stage) like other people had mentioned...which was FINE with me. I don't think I would have trusted myself standing so close to Steely for that long! LOL! The guys did a great job and the crowd was definitely better on Wednesday than Tuesday. There was a lot more energy in the air. It was just so great to watch them up on that stage doing their thing...and loving it! It made me so proud.

When they were done... we made our way back to the area where we were supposed to meet. There were a lot of people waiting back there, but only Krista and I (and our guests) had the special little "V" and a star on our M&G pass. We were checking everyone else's pass out to be sure we were "special"! We were led back into a room and told we'd be given a picture for them to sign...but NO pictures! OMG!!! WTH? Not to worry...we asked the nice man and he said we needed to move to the back of the line since we were the VIP people (YAY for us!) So as we waited in the back of the line we saw the guys coming and they waved and we squealed like a bunch of little girls! It was very funny. I knew at that point all hopes of remaining composed were pretty much shot! When we got into the room, the guys were sitting in order: Steely, Chris, JP, Joey, Brian. The good news for all future VIP winners is that I pretty much set the bar for ridiculous comments to these guys. After a week of practicing NOT saying I LOVE YOU and I walked up to Steely and said "OH MY GOD...I LOVE YOU!!!" Apparently, I should have practiced harder. Fortunately he had pity and said, "Well, I love you too." Okay, so I KNOW he didn't mean it, but it was my birthday and I was taking what I could get! My friend I'd brought with made me a sign that said... "It's my birthday...hug?" And what do you know? Chris shook my hand and the stood up and gave me a huge hug that I'll never forget. Okay, so now on to JP (here's where it gets a little worse). I think I was still in shock over the amazing hug...because what do I say to JP? Hello? You guys are great? I love your music? Oh no, not me! I say "Can I touch your head?" Who says that?????? Fortunately he said,"Okay" and then "it feels just like a puppy, doesn't it?" In the meantime, I see Joey laughing sitting next to JP and realize that what I said could have been taken in quite a different way! Hmm....didn't really think that through! Joey didn't say all that much(pretty sure he was still laughing over my stupid comment to JP). When Brian saw my sign he stood up and gave me a hug. When my friend said "I thought Joey was the one known for hugs" he stood up and gave her one and then gave me one. Know what? THAT BOY CAN HUG! Actually, they ALL can....very tight and makes you feel all tingly inside! Okay, at least it did for me!

When it came time for pictures it did feel really rushed...NOT THAT I'M COMPLAINING! I felt bad for Krista that hers didn't turn out, BUT I have a good one to email to you Krista, you guys look great!

So I was standing to the side and Chris says" Get over here Birthday girl...time for a picture!" (Boy, after that, a simple happy birthday ain't gonna cut it!) LOL! I stood next to Chris with JP and Brian to my right and they were both kinda trying to figure out where to stand. SO, being the MORON that I am, I say "C'mon...give me some love" (WHO SAYS THAT????) and which point the both moved in and JP made a kissy face for me! Right after the picture we were told to leave so Chris could get out there for Blaze of Glory. But he did stop for individual pictures with us in the hallway.

They were so genuine and sweet and just reinforced my love for them! Hugs from everyone (3 from Chris) and it was honestly my best birthday ever! Sorry for all of the details, but I couldn't stop once I started!

I think that Daughtry will gain may new fans from this experience with Bon Jovi...BUT...I believe that Daughtry will be bringing many fans BACK to Bon Jovi as well. I have always really liked Bon Jovi, but probably wouldn't ever go see them in concert. After seeing their show I've rediscovered my love for them. They put on an amazing show!!

Thank you to RCA for making this happen! It meant so much to me! I have our picture posted too!

Ok went to the concert last night (seats where not the best)however the night was AMAZING!!! Daughtry was amazing!! I kept thinking i can not believe i am in the SAME building with the HOTTEST BAND on the planet! it was unbelievalbe! (the crowd sucked - i was the only one in my section standing and clapping and jamming with the guys) oh well - Breakdown (which is such a good song on the disc) was the best song - when Chris put on the "blue" guitar and started playing and then when the guys all jam out together!!! how can you not get goose bumps! way to cool! i could not stop clapping and screamin! thanks for an amazing concert - i loved you before and now i love you guys even more! after Daughtry was done - i was ready to go but i thought i would stay to see if Chris sang with Bon Jovi! Bon Jovi starts singing BOG and I am screaming and then Chris came up on stage (again the goosebumps all over my body) it is so hard to put into words how unbelievable that song is when they sing it together! AWESOME! A memory that will stay with me forever!

So happy for you girl! Glad you had your moment!! Too bad about the pictures but at least you got a hug, got to meet them, and got all of the memories for a lifetime! I know I was so nervous before I got into the room but I agree, they guys were so cool they just helped to keep you calm!

Well where do I start…..The day started off great and we left work early and everything was going great. When we went to the “Will Call” window, I was telling my friend that I am always nervous getting tickets that way and what do you know, my name is not on the list. It took over 30 minutes for them to finally get all the details and find our tickets, but we got them.

The show was amazing as always. You can’t really expect anything less then an incredible performance when you are lucky enough to see Daughtry live. After they were done, we were able to do the meet and greet. Of course, I was nervous, but once eye contact was made and Chris greets you with his amazing smile, your nerves just kind of leave. I made sure I got to hug all the guys for all of you. They were GREAT hugs too (Chris and Joey, best huggers ! It was very rushed the whole time because Chris had to return so he could sing Blaze of Glory with Bon Jovi (which was amazing) and the guy taking pictures rushed through them and of course, the pictures are just a big blur. It was unfortunate because a picture lasts forever, but I will just have to make sure I have an opportunity for a retake in the future.

Overall, the night was amazing! Of course, once you get to meet them, the love and respect for them only grows. They really are just five normal guys living their dream and bringing us along for the ride.

Again, I need to thank RCA for this great opportunity and can’t wait for them to be back in the area.

That's kind of how it was on Tuesday night, too. The people behind us didn't really know who Daughtry was (and here I was dancing and singing along with every song!) I honestly think I was the only one standing up and singing in our section! Anyway......after Daughtry, we asked them what they thought....and they said they were very impressed. They thought Daughtry was great! Hopefully we can convert a bunch more fans in the days and years to come!!!!

that Daughtry made new fans, I am sure many people have become fans from seeing them live at Bon Jovi, AWESOME!

Last night was amazing!!! The guys were even better than when I saw them this summer with Nickelback! And, for those of you who went on Tues. night, Chris did "Blaze of Glory" with Bon Jovi last night!!!! It was SOOOOO awsome!!! They also made at least 2 new fans last night. The great couple sitting next to me didn't know much about Daughtry, but they could see that I was totally in to them! Karen was asking if I liked them and I'm like "of course!" So, as the concert goes on, she's like "He didn't win on AI?!?" and I said "can you believe it?!?" Pretty soon she's going "OMG, they ROCK!" and I'm like "Yeah!!!" We had a great time rocking out for the rest of the concert to Daughtry and Bon Jovi!!

I won VIP for the 3-7-08 show and I was pretty proud of myself. I was able to talk, and even make sense, haha! It goes by kinda fast so take it all in, and ENJOY!!

I got a PM yesterday evening that I won the VIP for the St. Paul show on the 19th!!! My husband had just surprised me with a road trip with a friend to go see the guys on the 18th. My friend had gotten an extra ticket and I was going!!!! Her husband had planned hotel and everything. I was feeling a little guilty since it was a birthday/anniversary gift (13 year anniversary on the 18th/3_th birthday on the 19th) and I wouldn't be home with my kids or husband for either, but when I got the PM I knew it was my time! BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER!!!
