When I was 13, I instantly fell in love with Bon Jovi and they were my favorite band for years. I still love Bon Jovi, but Daughtry you have stolen my heart! I just simply love you guys! The music rocks and I love it all! I have been to 3 shows so far, two last year, then this one and your music has been a great escape for me during some very difficult times, so thanks! Keep rocking and you'll always have a faithful fan in me. I hope to see another Daughtry headliner show or as many more as I can swing in the coming year.

Great review! It was kinda fun reading yours because I won VIP the night before at Mohegan Sun so I could picture everything that you were talking about. I think we were in the same seats before we moved to the platform. I am glad you had a good time and got to meet the guys. They were all totally sweet and awesome! For me it was a dream come true. I am glad it all turned out well for you. It was worth all the miles and money for me to get there!

First of all, I would like to thank RCA, Daughtry, and anyone else who was involved in making this experience possible!

So while we waited in line for the doors to open at 7, Pamela and I met Christina who won for one of the Chicago VIP’s. It was fun talking to her about the experience and to meet another member of DO. Finally, after much anticipation the doors opened and we made our way to our seats in section 24 row F. At our seats we met a woman named Michelle and her friend, who were also VIP winners so we chatted with them for awhile. Daughtry was going to take the stage at 8 and about 20 minutes or so before, a woman named Molly (I think that was her name) came over to tell us that we would be going up on the platform right next to the stage for their performance!! I was beyond excited and could not believe we were going to be right up there with the guys! The platform was on the right side of the stage and the four of us had the space to ourselves. I was ecstatic. The next 15 minutes or so went by extremely fast and the next thing I know the show had begun! It was great to see many of the seats taken by the time Daughtry hit the stage too. Steely acknowledged my I LOVE DAUGHTRY sign when he came out. They opened with “You Don’t Belong” and I was so excited to hear this new song for the first time live. The whole performance was amazing and the guys once again put on an awesome show. Chris waved to me from the stage and also threw a guitar pic our way but we could not find where it landed. Pamela even tried having the security guy look for it! During one of the songs, although I can’t remember which, I remember leaning over as far as I could and Chris reaching out to grab MY hand!! I was thrilled! Seeing that happen at other shows, I could not believe that this time I was that lucky person!! Anyway, being on the platform was like being on stage with the guys. The energy was unbelievable and it was just so cool to be that close. Needless to say, I was on cloud 9.

Right after “There And Back Again” we were escorted to an area outside the arena and were kept aside from the long line of radio contest winners. We were then each given a glossy Daughtry photo to get signed by the guys. As the line of radio contest winners narrowed down, we started walking into this little room where I could see the guys sitting down behind a table. It all happened pretty quick, but was one of the most amazing experiences ever! I said hi to each of the guys and got hugs from everyone. They all signed our photos as well. We were able to take a group picture with them, which was really great. After the picture I hugged Chris again (LOL) and then we were on our way out.

Shortly after, we then went back to our original seats for Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi’s performance was good, but I was there for DAUGHTRY. It was great to see Chris come back out to sing “Blaze of Glory” with him.

Overall, it was a night that I will never forget and I haven’t stop smiling since. Last but not least, I cannot forget to mention that it was so great to see some of my DO friends (Nadine, Toni, Michele), and meet many of you for the first time (Heather- well “officially” lol, Cindy, Susan, Steph, Lynne, Amanda, Melissa, Karen, Beverly, and Maria...Hope I didn’t forget anyone! (I did miss seeing some of you and wish I got the chance…but I think you saw ME on the platform!! hehe) It was especially great to have many of you there with me in between the sequence of events that took place- from the time leading up to the show to the minute I came out of the meet and greet!! LOL That made the experience all the more fun!

No worries! You didn't offend me at all. I was just stating the difference in the lines of the song. Whoever sings the seconds lines of the verses, their voice will be highlighted. I love Chris and Jon so the two of them together is heaven for me. I had just read other people comment how much stronger Chris's voice is than Jon's so I thought I would try to explain. I personally love them both.

This weekend of shows was just amazing. Saw both shows and saturday was way better. Ok I was so much closer..but the energy was sooo intense saturday for me..Plus i ROCKED it out with Nadine and Susan...and krista and michelle was just behind us!

Sound was just...intense and Blaze was......FANTASTIC. Took alot for me to sit thru JBJ (again not a fan of the new stuff..old stuff..i love...New stuff...To....well...showy) but once i heard the beginning I was up and ready to see the DUET of the year!

Oh the bunny ears....mission impossible searching for a pair for joey...he said he would wear them if we found them...(cuz we thought we had them already)...Moe came thru and deliverd the goodie bag to the guys...atleast the ears...not sure where the candy ended up...but it doesn't matter!

Steely was on fire this weekend. Could feel the love..Brian was feeling hte music and doing his usualy singing along and rocking it with all he has...and jumping off hte drum stage...JP..There and Back Again....brings it out every time and rocks that Bass...(can't believe some guy thought he was the drummer...whatever) Joey...a true gentleman that plays those drums like noone can..and he rocks the bunny ears. Chris was a vocal stand out..and was rockin in a wife beater and vest...

Thanks for a great show....now we have to wait for the Fair Tour! Can't wait! Thanks for rockin it with all you have.

I should have known I might offend some BJ fan! I guess all I can say is that it is a matter of taste. I am not a huge fan of BJ. Although I know they are a talented bunch of guys with a huge inventory of tunes, there is a definite difference in their voices. JBJ is higher (really don't know the proper terminology) but I am attracted to Chris's voice. To my ear, there is no one that can compare to his voice quality. I apologize if I offended anyone....

....for another great show. I have to tell you, this was my third Daughtry/BonJovi concert and each time it does my heart good to hear all of the positive comments from the BJ fans around me as you perform. They are impressed, believe me!

Ok, I think I have used the !! sign enought but words cannot explain the high that I had when I left the show. I am no spring chick and have been to alot of shows but that night is the one that will be my memory!

Jon and Chris are awesome together. A great pairing on this tour and I thought Nickleback opening for Bon Jovi was the best but they have topped it!
I do want to say one quick thing about the vocals. I have seen several people say that Chris sounds much better than Jon when they sing Blaze. I love them both but it's not that Chris sings better, but the way the verses were written the second portion is supposed to be higher and louder...if they switched their roles then Chris would be the softer singer and so on. Believe me, Jon can belt that song all by himself. I just love the arrangement they have worked out. They sound great together. Can't wait til my next show in Greensboro! I'm having withdrawls!

"You Dont Belong" is so powerful....I loved it! And the guys' energy was great....just wished there were more people on their feet! How can they sit through a Daughtry show??!!
LOVED the duet on Blaze of Glory.....chills for me...the strength of Chris's voice kills me!! In a good way of course!! The crowd went wild when Chris came on.....it was so great to hear. A BJ press guy was behind us & when the Daughtry set was over I heard him say, "Wow, they're really good." It was awesome!
As the girls already said.....you guys rocked the arena ...
but we all wish the set was longer, and that you were the headliner...we're spoiled maybe, but loved every minute of this show.....and seeing Joey in the bunny ears Heather & I did Mission Impossible for made me LMAO!

I agree with Nadine, this concert was great. The only improvement to the show would have been if Daughtry were the headliner. All of Daughtry sounded and looked "so fine".

The best part of the BJ portion was the duet with Chris. There is just no comparing the vocals. Obviously, I was here for DAUGHTRY and the only thing that would have made it better was if their's was the headlining act!

Went last night to the 3/08/08 Mohegan Sun show and it was incredible!!!! Daughtry totally rocked the house last night!! Only wish Daughtry had more stage time and was put on the big screens to see Chris and the guys better. Chris and Jon singing together was one of the highlights of the show. They sounded awesome together! We Connecticut fans are sooooo hoping you guys will play some closer arenas for us. Also hoping you all will add some tour dates here in CT over the summer. Rachel and I werent' able to swing the tickets....we were wicked hoping for VIP, tried the radio contests...nothing...We're so upset, because it looks like this might be the last time he'll be in the area for a LONG time....Vt and Ny are like 5 or 6 hours away, and she can't leave her children overnight..

I'm praying for a miracle ...lord knows i need one right about now....
