Wow, Daughtry put on quite the opening show. I never get tired of watching these guys live. I had the time of my life at this show. I did not have a ticket until the very last minute. Thanks to some of my friends here on this site I was hooked up with a ticket and it turned out to be second row! I danced and sang the entire night along with our band. I just can't say enough about them. I loved Joey's bunny ears. Chris I am so glad you felt the love. It was so nice to hear you say that. I hope you get how much your fans truly love you. I was such a proud fan listening to all the chatter after the show. Women AND men were raving about Daughtry with big smiles on their faces. Blaze of Glory was definitely the hight light of the show.
I really was so impressed with Jon Bonjovi's stage presence. Jon is truly amazing. He pretty much interacted with the audience the entire time looking the audience in the eyes every chance he could. His energy is unbelievable and you can tell he just loves what he does.

This show just left me begging for more like always:)

Hey Does Anybody that went to this show know what songs Daughtry performed? I can't remember if he did Gone. I was so excited being on the side of the stage now I can't remember, haha! I know they did, You Don't Belong, It's Not Over, Home, Over You, FLT, What I Want, Breakdown, There and Back and What About Now. Don't remember about Gone or All These Lives. I want to make sure I have them all down when I do my Daughtry scrapbook. If you know the order of the songs you would be my hero! I only remember first and last for sure, haha!

My seat was in section 21, but I got down to the front row for DAUGHTRY's set. I love watching the guys perform. They seem to be having so much fun. They sounded incredible. When Chris came out for Blaze of Glory, the whole crowd went crazy. Bon Jovi did WDOA for the encore, and I just kept thinking that Chris should be out there for that song too.

As an "old-time" Bon Jovi fan, (way back from 8th grade) I could have cared less that I was seeing them (Bon Jovi) in concert. I bought the ticket to see Daughtry! They sounded great, played very well and got the crowd on their feet. I was EXTREMELY disappointed that they were not on the big screen to see "up close and personal" though....I was in the balcony and would have liked to have had a better view. Regardless, the highlight of the night was watching Chris sing "Blaze of Glory" alongside Bon Jovi.....He sounded SO much better than they did.
Awesome job everyone!!!!!!

My 3 year old daughter was so excited that I was going to see Daughtry, that she drew Chris a picture....as I was leaving for the show she made sure to give it to me to "give to Chris Daughtry!! He even captures the littlest fans!

Thanks for the review. I can't tell you how jealous I am!! I know you'll never forget it. I've never met the guys, so I can only dream to win VIP in Nashville. I can't believe the other VIPs didn't show. They HAD to have a really good reason.

I know it was unbelievable being right to the side of the stage, same level as the guys. It was kinda weird before the show started to be standing up there like that, with everyone looking at you but it was exciting! I am glad you had a great time at the show, it was amazing! I can't wait for the next one. They are coming to Michigan again so the next one will be much closer for me. A 3 hour drive instead of having to fly there! I am glad you enjoyed the pictures. The guys were so awesome when we met them, still full of energy and all smiles, it was great!

I was at this show also and it was just amazing!!! Mary, I read your VIP review and saw your pictures!! Awesome pictures!! The guys always look so happy meeting their fans. I actually noticed you guys on the side of the stage and said that they must be the VIP winners standing there all by yourselves. I wish I could have jumped right in to the spot of the VIP that didn't show up. I had the best time and it really was the best show!!

VIP Review

OK you guys I just got home and couldn’t wait to give you my review. This show ROCKED the house!

So it started at Will Call when we were picking up our tickets. I was a little nervous of course thinking the worse, they won’t have any tickets, they never heard of us, blah blah. But my friend gave his name and the lady revealed the prettiest white envelope I have ever seen, haha! So I was freaking out so excited, yes we got the tickets now we just have to worry about the VIP passes. So Matt opens the envelope, pulls out the tickets, then a white slip of paper…what is this?? A little note about where to go after the band’s last song for the Meet and Greet…SWEET! Then he pulls out 2 Meet and Greet Passes. My heart dropped in my stomach, and I about died!! It is really happening, my dream is going to come true! So as you can imagine the next few hours were the longest of my life.

Finally we get to our seats which were GREAT seats. We were lower level and had a great view of the stage. I kept telling myself not to get my hopes up that we would be escorted to the side of the stage and that these seats were more than enough to make my night. But about 15 minutes before the show I turned and noticed a lady with a clipboard and ear piece was talking to Matt and I heard her say something about VIP. So she tells us that she is moving us to a different spot and to put our passes on. At this point I could feel myself shaking and could barely rip the adhesive backing off and put the pass on my shirt. So we follow her all the way up front, through the little guard area and up the ramp, right by the Steely side of the stage. She said, this is where you get to stand for the entire Daughtry set but have to go back to your other seats for Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi who? WHO CARES! I am going to be up here with Daughtry, who needs anything else!! By this time no other VIPs showed up, the band rep said that there were two other people that should be here but weren’t and once they got here she would bring them up with us. Needless to say, no one ever showed up. Good for us that we didn’t have to share the platform with anyone but bad because someone else could have had the opportunity.

So show time finally arrives and I am sure you know how that feels, an overwhelming flow of emotions: happiness, excitement, and pride for the band. Daughtry came out with so much energy, it was incredible. They rocked the stage the entire night. The crowd was awesome and very responsive to Daughtry and that made me so frickin happy! We got a wave, a “rock on” hand, and a point from Chris, AMAZING! Steely smiled and waved at me at one point during the show. Joey was too much with his white face mask, then the bunny ears, then mooning the crowd quickly for a shot of his hot underwear! It was funny because each time Chris went for water and saw Joey with his bunny ears on, he would bust out laughing.

The entire band was flawless, and really worked the crowd. The part where they dimmed all the lights and had everyone take a picture at once was incredible! Chris’ comment about not waiting until he said 3 and leaving premature stuff all over and ruining it for everyone was classic! I love him! The sound was great, the guys were great, everything about them was on that night.

So then the show was over, too soon, I could have watched them forever! The rep (I am so bummed I forgot her name) came and got us and brought us backstage. Again, the other VIPs never showed so it was just us from Daughtry Official. She had us wait off to the side and let the other people who were there to meet the band go first, because we were VIPs from the website, we got to wait until everyone else was done so we would have more time with them. AWESOME! So we got in and they were sitting behind a table signing autographs, but no one was taking pictures. So I asked the rep if we could take pictures and she said that we would be able to but the other people can’t, SWEET! So we got up to them finally and I can’t even describe how I felt at this point, this is my dream coming true. Steely looks up and says “What’s up side of stage girl” with a big grin, so we talked a little bit, I said Hi to Joey and Brian. Then there was Chris, OH MY GOD GORGEOUS, HOTTIE!!! We talked a little about the show and I told him we were from Detroit, and talked about the other shows we have went to and that we were traveling the globe to see them. Chris asked how far Detroit was from there and this is when my mind went blank and I couldn’t think so I say “I don’t know…far”. He started laughing and joking about what I said (“That’s awesome, I don’t know but it is FAR!” he says). When we mentioned we seen them in Flint, MI, he said “Good Old Flint, MI”. It was the greatest experience of my life. They signed the group photo that was given to us and I don’t even know what else was said but it was awesome. So we went back to our rep (we clung to her all day, haha!) and then this other guy came up to us and asked if we had a camera. So I gave it to him and we all got together for a group shot. So we lined up and Chris was to my left, I had my arm around his waist and he had his arm around my shoulder, and I was dying inside! Then for some reason someone to my right pushed us enough so I started tipping onto Chris and he started tipping so we were trying to straighten ourselves up and Chris was going “whoahhhh hey now, no pushing”. So the picture was taken and I turned to Chris to thank him and he said You’re welcome, it was nice to meet you. I then asked him for a hug and he gave me one, ahhhhhhh! I hugged him and told him he was awesome. He smiled and said thank you. BEST DAY EVER! They guys were so incredible, so nice, I wasn’t as nervous as I thought I would be. I think because of how down to earth they are, I felt at ease. They were joking with us and talking with us like we were friends, it was a dream come true! I hope everyone here gets the opportunity for a VIP like this!

So after this experience you think it wouldn’t get any better, WRONG. Blaze of Glory starts playing, Jon is singing then Chris comes out from the back of the stage and the crowd WENT CRAZY!!! I was so proud of Chris at this moment I wanted to burst. He was INCREDIBLE, I got goose bumps! It was a must see live experience. The whole day blew me away.

Once again an incredible show!! We had great seats - floor row 6. Chris and the guys were better than ever - LOVED when Chris joined Jon on Blaze. Thanks again guys for another great night! (Saw Joey after the show, but didn't run into anyone else - Chris, where were you?!)

The show was awesome last night. Wish we got to hear more of Chris and the band. Bon Jovi was good but nothing gets me more excited to see Chris on stage singing. They did a great job. I loved Joey's rabbit ears...oh yeah and his polka dot underwear he showed everyone. He really is something else. I was hoping to run into the guys after the show but Mohegan is so big, my chances were slim to none. Overall great show..can't wait for the next one. I hope everyone enjoys tonight! Wish I could go again!

This show was awesome. Music was great and the band was AMPED! Great job. My wife got me tickets and the show was incredible . They played "There and back again" That song is my fovorite. and it rocked so hard I thought the roof would cave in. Seeing Chris sing "Blaze of Glory" with Bon Jovi was almost too much to ask for.

Anyone have pictures or videos from last night , I kept checking my emails all week , hoping I would win VIP, I was really bummed last night, I spent 3 hours watching youtube clips LOL
