I have always been a fan of Chris since first hearing him through his band Absent Element. I saw him open for a band called Day of Fire a couple years ago in North Carolina. When I was watching Idol last year I realized I've heard Chris before and I noticed that he was wearing a Day of Fire shirt on tv when he found out he made it in the top 24. I like how Chris can write his own music. There are a lot of people out there that have to get a group of people to write their songs in order to have a hit. Not Chris. He is a true artist. To me Daughtrys songs are about every day life and every day people in every day situations. I can relate to the lyrics in all of his songs. Everyone has their own way of interpreting a song and making it relate to something in their life. Daughtry has given the world one of the greatest gifts - the gift of music. Thanks for your music.
