heres the same thing that i posted over at mr.d. there are six vids. im not sure if were allowed to post links, so if were not, sorry!!
my dad surprised me with tickets to this concert and he accidentally bought and extra so i invited my best friend. we got there around late 5 or early 6 pm and were starving so we found a kfc and ate there. after that we wanted to look around to find the bus but we were freezing, had no idea where to go, and this homeless guy was eyeing us and creeping us out so we just went inside the venue. we had row G but all the way on the side. at every daughtry concert, im always on josh's side. im not complaining or anything, but i wanna be in the center or on jp & brian's side for a change
at 8, the first band You Are I Am came on...they were pretty good, but i thought they were boring. there were these two drunk 30-somethings in front of us acting stupid and slutty and that got most of us in our area pretty ticked off, but none of us said anything to the security guards. its not like it would work anyway, since they were flirting with them.
The Midway State came on and i thought they were really good compared to the first band, not to mention the guys hair is awesome. after their first song, one of the girls was dancing(if you could even call it that. it looked like how a dinosaur or penguin would dance) and she threw up. they were kicked out and we were all happy again. i liked this band, but the songs were repetetive and everything sounded the same. they were definitely better than You Are I Am. i miss Cinder Road, my favorite opening band so far in the daughtry tour...
Anyway, at around 10 DAUGHTRY comes on!!! i say it all the time, but these boys just keep getting better and better! they were probably still on a high from all the AMA wins and they were fantastic. this was my fourth daughtry concert, and it was their best yet and my favorite one. it was my friends first daughtry concert and she loved it. i was kinda sad that i could hardly see joey because the speakers and lights were in my way, but i had great views for the rest of the band. the crowd was great and sang along, etc. one of the best crowds out of all the daughtry concerts ive been too. At the end, chris (and joey, i think) came out into the first row. i froze knowing there was know way to get up there quickly since there were already alot of people there and without injuring someone else
the new songs for me were ATL and WTL which were so great. ATL is such a pretty song live and WTL was great. the whole band looked awesome!!! (wait, thats always true) and OMG i need to give JP his props. he;s always great but that night, idk what happened but he just stuck out to me and was just really impressive. of course the rest of the band performed perfectly. i had to leave right after cuz my friend needed to get back home, but it was such a fun night, and i'm still so thankful that i got to go.
i tried to take pictures, but they either came out blurry or someones head or hand is in the way so instead ive got a bunch of vids that my dad took: Gone, Over You, Walk the Line, Feels like Tonight, All These Lives, & Hey Man Nice Shot/ There and Back Again

for giving us your great review and sharing the videos. I checked a couple of them out and they were really good. I loved the way they did "All These Lives", it was beautiful and I got tears in my eyes. I so wish I could see them in person again and have great seats.
for the videos. I LOVED seeing All These Lives again. It was simply beautiful in person!!
Great review! I figured they'd be pumped coming off the AMA's. Sounds like the audience was rewarded
I will be checking out your videos. You better give your dad a big kiss...
