Can you believe that one year ago today Daughtry's first album was realeased into the U.S. I have loved the album ever since and have not once gotten sick of any of the songs that Chris sang. Those songs still bring a smile to my face every time I listen to them and I feel joy in my heart in an instant. And although the band Daughtry is not playing the music on this album I've been fortunate to see them perform live and those boyz picked up the music beauitufully and are extremely talented all around guys. I've learned to love them more and more each coming day and have become a die-hard and dedicated fan. There are not many people out there that understand my passion for Daughtry, or as they'd call it obsession, except for the wonderful fans on this site. If only I could find a friend or two who could learn to love Daughtry like me and want to go to all the concerts and do road trips to see them. That would be awesome so hopefully one day I will meet those people to do just that with.
Today is about celebrating Daughtry's success, their album, and the impact they have made on all of our lives. They've come a long way, they have won some awards and they're still making us proud in more ways than one. That is why I've declared today National Daughtry Day b/c they deserve it and their album is going strong and new fans have emerged all over the place and it just makes me so happy when I hear and see how well Daughtry is doing in the music world and how they are living out their dreams. I've wanted this for them all along. Chris has one of the most powerful voices out there. He blows me away every single time. I sing a lot to the songs but sometimes will just listen quietly and it's at that moments when Chris really shines through. He's amazing, I can't reititerate that enough. He can sing from all levels and I love anything and everything he does. I know whatever Daughtry brings in the future, it's going to rock and take our breaths away all at the same time. Joey Barnes, Josh Steely, Brian Craddock, and Josh Paul are amazing musicians as well and togehter with Chris they create the best atmosphere possible. I love the interaction with their fans and how they try and stay connected with us when they're on the road. It makes me day when I see new blogs, new pictures, or hear them in my normal day. I just can't get enough of them and I would not want it any other way, except in that I would be able to see them perform live more and even meet them. They have a true appreciation for their fans and that makes us love them that much more.
In honor of Daughtry's one year anniversary for the album I am going to celebrate to the best of my ability. I have bee spending time on here and other sites and only will listen to Daughtry's music today and nobody else. I am going to hang up a poster and hopefully start work on a poem I've wanted to write for them a long time ago. I bought a new cd in honor of them and will buy a few more later for the holidays to spread the joy and music of Daughtry. I am also buying a couple shirts to show support to and today is the perfect day to do just that. I've been talking about them a lot this week and letting everyone else know how much Daughtry is succeeding b/c if they don't know already, they need to know now. I am proud of these guys and love them unconditionally. I can't explain it and I am not ashamed. This Thankgiving not only am I thankful for my family, my friends, my life, I am also thankful for Daughtry and the music they've given to us. It's incredible to here's to you and here's to the future. I love you guys and am glad things are going to well for you. You deserve it and nobody can take that from you. God bless and keep on rocking out hard core.
