Euphoric is not a word I would normally use to describe my feelings on a Monday morning ........ today is the exception. Three awards and an absolutely incredible performance of Home ...... I feel like I have not slept. I cried four times last night, but crying for pure happiness is good for the soul. And pride, pride in the success of five young men who have made such a difference in my life, in my outlook and in my world. Chris, Josh, Josh Paul, Joey and Brian .......... what can I say? Five amazingly talented young men who have come together to give the world DAUGHTRY and yet remain genuine, humble, kind human beings. Heaven-sent.
Last night was the validation ....... the validation of a long year on the road, concerts night after night, missing their familes, occasionally enduring the behaviour of 'grasping' fans ............ the validation for us and the true fans all over the world who believed in them through everything. I watched Chris' eyes while he sang ..... the old soul we have always seen is still there .......... and always will be.

I guess crying five times out of pure happiness is not so bad either.
