I have to start by saying I feel like I am a very lucky woman! First i got to get away, with my best friend, go to France for 10 days and party with not a care in the world. The day we land, my friend and I meet up with a friend of mine that lives in Paris and we put our luggage in her tiny apartment. We then head to, where else, the Eiffel Tower. A little groggy from the 9 hour flight, we hesitently decide to wait in the snake- like line to get our tickets up to the top. As soon as we get in line I notice a familular image about two people ahead of us. I ask my girlfriend Robin, "is that Chris Daughtry?". To my suprise she answers "Who the hell is Chris Daughtry?". I then ask her "Are you kidding!" and proceed to dig for my IPhone with all my music and scoll down to have her listen to his most popular hit from the Houston area radio stations "It's Not Over". She then says, "OH, yeah i know that song, what's his name again?". I then get the attention of the guys in front of us and find out that for sure it was Chris Daughtry!!! WOW, ...The second reason I feel incredibly lucky! I have this theory that everything is a Kodak moment so i ALWAYS have a camera on me. I pulled that sucker out and asked for a pic. He (Chris) graciously gave me several moments for pictures and was an incredibly NICE guy. Actually all his band members were nice, gracious, incredibly fun to talk to and really down to earth. It was like we were just a couple of 'Americans' who ran into eachother standing in line at the Eiffel Tower, in Paris! As we stood in line we talked about our families, where we were from, and i got to tell Chris how much i LOVE his music. They were really all some of the nicest guys i have ever met. It was an amazing feeling, i felt like i was in a dream, and my daughter back home (Who is an even bigger fan) just got the story and viewed my pics. Sad We are definately going to his concert in Dallas, It's the least i can do for my other best friend who didn't get to meet him Smiling
