I am a fan (and you should be too), because...DAUGHTRY, the band, has touched and inspired me in a way that no other artist or band has ever done. Rare do we nowadays find a band that we can support not only for their amazing music and talent but also for their genuinity and characters as persons. Sure, we all fall in love with a band that creates a good song we can all relate to or inspire us with, sure we like a band that's physically pleasing to the eyes, or sometimes we root for a band that has the "cinderella" story. But how many band nowadays, has all of that?! While I like supporting bands and artist for the music that they produce, I love rooting and supporting artists that are also good people.

Let's start with the lead singer, CHRIS DAUGHTRY, the man who has captivated us ever since we saw him start building his dreams on American Idol. This man put himself out there, poured his heart and soul, risked his family's future and privacy and subjected himself to scrutiny just so he can share his music to the entire world. Here is a man who has always stayed true to himself, to his fans and to everyone around him. His humbleness and graciousness always shines through and that is why he is loved by everyone he worked with. I became an instant fan the moment I heard his voice. There is just something so magical and captivating with how he pours emotions to his singing. His personality and attitude just shines through with every song that he sings. His love and gratitude to his fans and most of all, his devotion to his family makes me root for him even more. I cried with his fans when we all thought his dreams died when he was voted out, I celebrated with everyone when we found out that he was signed and we're still celebrating with all the success he's been having right now. Here is a man I want to support for the rest of his long career.

Then we were introduced to 4 talented, amazing men that's going to bring out the best in Chris and are going to show the world what amazing music DAUGHTRY can bring to everyone. We have sweet Josh, who is so devoted to his wife and is always gracious to the fans. We have funny, quirky Joey who never fails to keep in touch with the fans and always makes us laugh. Then there's the energetic, cool JP who always brings amazing life to the stage. And last but not the least Brian, who always brings his amazing guitar skills with every show and is so devoted to his daughter. These guys, like Chris, are also not only talented musically but are great people.

DAUGHTRY is a living proof that dreams really come true to those who are willing to wait and that good things really happen to good people. And that is a reason great enough for me to be a huge fan of DAUGHTRY. I'm glad that I started my journey as a fan with them from the start and I'm glad that I'll still be their fan in the many, many years to come.
