Well.. all I can say is... AWESOME PERFORMANCE guys! There are really no words to describe the concert.. it "blew me away"!! ALWAYS DOES!!! This makes my 3rd concert.. and more to come I am sure!!!! Chris ROCKED the house.. "HOME SWEET HOME"... Joey JAMMED / ROCKED on the drums... damn.. is he not good or what... JP... nothing like JP bouncing around on that stage.. wouldn't have been the same without him there.... Steely... ah.. Steely... you are simply AMAZING.. and Brian... rockin' the house too! Ya'll were AWESOME!!!! I am so proud of all of you.. how far you have come!!!! I hate that we didn't get to see much of Chris and Brian... Did get my JP and Steely hug... and Joey... got my Joey hug and smooches too... He is so wonderful.. he stayed around (was catching later flight) to sign autographs until the last "friend not fan" left... Just like Joey.. that is simply just JOEY!!!! You ALL were awesome.. put on a great show... and always make NC VERY PROUD!!!!
I had some extra tkts. and I sold them to Kathy from Canada... found her here on Daughtry Official... she was going to go see DAUGHTRY in Ottawa.. and couldn't make it.. she had family in Cary, NC ... and when I found out that she had never seen them and wanted to go up in Ottawa ... I knew I wanted to make her a very happy FAN... I met up with her brother and sold my extra tkts. to her / him. Finally.. after the show.. I met her ... and was so glad that she had such a great time!!! I was so glad that I was able to help someone from so far away get to see their first DAUGHTRY concert .. here at HOME too... that was great!!!! Very nice girl.. KATHY .. GLAD I COULD DO THAT FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!
Everytime DAUGHTRY performs .. it's always heart pounding.. and the ENTIRE ARENA is singing along.. every word... LOVED the "body surfing" that Chris did at end of show.... YA'LL SIMPLY ROCKED!!!!!! ALWAYS DO!!!!!!
So.. here's to TN.. (gonna try to get tkt to that one) ... GREENSBORO.. (wish us all luck.. HOME SWEET HOME AGAIN) and CHARLOTTE... we'll see.. but no matter what.. This was the BEST DAUGHTRY CONCERT I have been to yet...
Here's to you guys.. you deserve the NOMINATIONS you got.. and TO WIN ALL!!!!!
OH.. and get this.. my 71 yr. old mother went in to see the concert too... and she was blown away.. loved it.. had a blast!!! I am glad that she finally got to see Chris in person perform.. she watched IDOL and this was an experience that she will never forget.. she even stuck it out to get a "JOEY" autograph and talk to him.. she absolutely loves him...
