I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

Daughtry's music was just what I was waiting for. Chris blew me away on American Idol. He just seemed so sincere in his music. He sang with his heart and not just with his voice. Getting voted off American Idol was a blessing in disguise. He was able to create an album that HE wanted and not what American Idol wanted.

I remember reading that he tried out for the reality show to replace the singer for INXS. He never even made it to be on TV! He must have went home so disappointed, but little did he know, something better was going to come along.

His personal story touched my heart. The love for his wife and family makes him such an honorable man. He is living his dream and you have to respect anybody who is able to do that. I would say that he is "lucky" but luck has nothing to do with it, he deservs to have his dream. He deserves to have it all.
