I went to this show, and it was absoulutly amazing. This was my second time seeing Chris. It was incredible. I didn't get to meet him, but in the middle of the show, i yelled out, "I love you!" and chris said "I love you guys too." =]]]]]

OMG! What a great time! I met more really nice people tonight and we had a blast! I ran into Joey on the bar level trying to leave the area when they were first letting people into the venue and got to say hi. The show was fantastic. Loved hearing Whitesnake's "In the Still of the Night." It was cool the show was changed up from the night before. When the the show ended, I tried to get one of the set lists, but the security guard didn't want to let anyone have them. Then JP walked out on stage and gave one to another person. The security guard got mad at him. I asked JP if he could get the other one for me, but he said the guard was already mad at him and that he was sorry. Cool of JP to take the time and talk to me. I then went to the merchandise area and bought 2 CD's by Day of Fire. The band was out in the lobby talking to people. I got to hang out with Josh, Chris, and Zach for about 20 minutes, and they signed my CD's and took a photo with me. They were surprised that I had seen them perform with DAUGHTRY at the Colorado State Fair and at the show the night before. Josh asked me my opinion about both the shows in NYC and explained that there were music executives in the audience tonight and that they were trying to get a record deal. That may have been why Chris did not come out and sing with them tonight. I asked if they were going to be at the show at Foxwoods and they said they were, but either something came up or Josh was mistaken, because only The Midway State opened at Foxwoods. I also asked if they were going to be at the Orlando show, and Josh said no to that date. They were really cool guys and very generous with their time. The whole night was a lot of fun and I enjoyed meeting the cool people in the line with me who decided to stand near me during the show because I brought them to a prime spot to see the whole show. And I got to make a new friend who posted under this event so I would see it and add him to my friends. Smiling

DAUGHTRY Concert Expert! That's funny. Glad you had a great time. I did as well. I am glad I could be a good ambassador for the band. I love this band and just want everyone to have a good time at the shows. It makes me happy to see other people happy and enjoying themselves, and seeing the band succeed. And you have to admit, we really did have one of the best views in the house. Eye-wink

The show was absolutely awesome. This is my 3rd show and they just keep getting better and better. Day of fire was the second band on, and we all thought they were really good too.
Looking forward to many more concerts in NY! You rule!

Last nights show was absolutely awesome!!! I thought they were great when I saw them open for Bon Jovi.....but this time.....5 people back on the floor....wow! What an experience. I think 3 opening bands was a bit much.....as Daughtry didn't come on until 10:15 & I didn't get home until 2 am...& my feet & back are killing me....but worth it all to be that close. Im still amazed at how close I was!!! The acoustic version of "Breakdown" & the new song blew me away. I hope they release a full acoustical version of the Daughtry album. I just love him unplugged!!!!!! I have ticket for them with Bon Jovi in March....but now I can't wait that long. If anyone has an extra ticket for Toms River Friday night PM me....PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Great Show!! After the afternoon I had (posted about it in the east coast forum), it was so nice to just go and enjoy the show. They went on after 3 opening bands (The Midway State, Day of Fire, The Sunstreak). Too busy at the bar to know if they were any of them were good Smiling At about 10:15 Daughtry came on. They started off with Crashed of course. Then it was…
All I want
Used To
Gone
It’s Not Over
Breakdown
Chris then did All These Lives acoustic by himself
Then he gave us a peak at a new song Back to Me
What About Now / I Walk the Line
Feels Like Tonight
Over You
Josh Steely sang “Crazy Train”
Then some Motley Crue
And finally Home and There and Back Again

Absolutely a great show!!!

Hey guys,

I wish I could be there for the tapping of VH1's top 20 Wednesday that would be so awesome for me. I've waited all year for this, ever since DAUGHTRY debouted on January 20th with It's Not Over. U Guys have had a total of 39 weeks with UR 3 videos, It's Not Over, Home & Over You, & 34 out of those 39 weeks DAUGHTRY has been # 1, I've been a viewer of VH1's weekly countdown since May 10 1997, & I've pursued music for years, Chris, when U were voted off American Idol, I said" Chris will be with me On VH1's top 20 & I was so right. I've las voted my butt of all year for U DAUGHTRY on VH1's top 20, & I'm so very proud U & all UR success.. I talked about DAUGHTRY being on VH1's countdown for weeks since I found out U guys were going to be on they're show, It will be so awesome Saturday Dec 8 on VH1 top 20. the agency where I work Is having they're staff Christmas party on Dec, 7th, the day before DAUGHTRY is on VH1's top 20, then 3 days after on Dec 11th I see DAUGHTRY in Syracuse NY, I've been to all UR NY State shows, I can't wait I'm so very excited. see U soon guys, I'm so looking foreword to it. best of luck at UR NYC show it will awesome I know it will, I'd love to attend that show, but What an awesome week I've got coming up,

You, you got me
Thinking it'll be alright.
You, you told me,
"Come and take a look inside."
You believed me,
Every single lie.
But I, I failed you this time.

And it feels like tonight.
I can't believe I'm broken inside.
Can't you see that there's nothing that I wanna do,
Than try to make it up to you?
But it feels like tonight,
Tonight.

I was waiting
For the day your comin' around.
I was chasing,
And nothing was all I found.
From the moment you came into my life,
You showed me what's right.

And it feels like tonight.
I can't believe I'm broken inside.
Can't you see that there's nothing that I wanna do,
Than try to make it up to you?
But it feels like tonight.

I never felt like this before.
Just when I leave, I'm back for more.
Nothing else just seems to matter.
In these seven changing days,
You're the one thing that remains.
I could stay like this forever.

And it feels like tonight.
I can't believe I'm broken inside.
Can't you see that there's nothing that I wanna do,
Than try to make it up to you?
And it feels like tonight,
Tonight.
Tonight.
'Cause there's nothing that I wanna do,
Than try to make it up to you?
And it feels like tonight,
Tonight.

im soooo sad because i didnt get tickets for this show......
where can i try to get tickets???
is too late to try??

Hi there! I have a pair of tickets for both the Dec 4 and 5th Nokia shows. With work and life in general, I'm having a hard time making these dates work out for me.

I am selling them for what I paid plus the cost to priority ship w/delivery confirmation. Total is $105 for the pair per show. PM me if interested! I'd hate to see the tickets go to waste since the shows are sold out.

Thanks!

Just when I thought I couldn't love this band any more than I already do, I find out that part of the ticket price for both shows at the Nokia Theatre in NYC on 12/4/07 and 12/05/07 will be donated to an organization called Parents Of Autistic Children. I have a cousin who is autistic and when he was born, there really was not a lot of information available about autism. Thank you to the guys for supporting this cause which is so near and dear to my heart. I have tickets for both shows and am honored I will get to be there.

Here is the info:

Parents Of Autistic Children (POAC) a non profit organization from Hazlet, New Jersey who provides scientifically based training to parents, teachers, emergency care providers and loved ones of autistic children throughout the area, is happy to announce that a portion of the proceeds from the Daughtry Concert at the Nokia Theater in Times Square New York City on Tuesday December 4th and Wednesday December 5th are to benefit POAC.

Earlier in the year, triple-platinum recording group Daughtry and their management team at 19 Entertainment were contacted by Kevin Martin, lead singer of the multi-platinum rock band Candlebox to perform together in a concert to benefit Martin's favorite charity, POAC. Immediately Daughtry replied with a resounding yes.

Since that time the two groups were having a tricky time finding a schedule that would work out where they both could play together.

"I was really stoked when Kevin gave me the Call to play with him for his autism charity, since then we have been trying to find the time with both of our busy schedules," said band leader Chris Daughtry. "My band and I are thrilled to do whatever we can to help all of the kids suffering with autism and it is especially exciting to be able to do it during this Holiday Season," Chris added.

19 Entertainment has agreed to donate $2.50 from each ticket sold during the two day, sold out event at the Nokia Theater in New York's popular Times Square. The potential monies to be raised during the highly anticipated event could be in excess of $10,000.00. "My wife and family are such big fans of Daughtry and it touches my heart that they would be doing this for POAC," said Gary Weitzen, President of POAC. "Not only am I excited to receive the money that will be spent wisely to help so many families with a loved one with autism, but I also am thrilled to see the show! I am so thankful to Kevin Martin and Daughtry for making this possible," Mr. Weitzen continued.

Daughtry was seen on ABC Television last Sunday during the American Music Awards where the group performed an acoustic version of their hit song "Home". The band was able to walk away with a AMA hat trick last night as they walked away with three awards, Favorite Rock/Pop Album, Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist, and Favorite Breakthrough Artist. The group has also been nominated for two People's Choice Awards to be aired on CBS on January 8, 2008; nominations include: Favorite Group and Favorite Rock Song ("Home").

For Daughtry fans that live abroad or may not be able to make the show and still wish to support the band and its labors in helping this fine and deserving Organization, donations can be made at www.rockforadifference.org, a website that was created for the Organization in their efforts to reach out to and educate a younger market about the effects of autism, to promote a series of Future benefit concerts and to hold on line auctions of autographed memorabilia by popular musicians, artists and athletes to help continue the POAC mission. If you love someone with autism and would like to attend one of the many POAC Sponsored free training workshops, wish to find out more information about the Organization, or have some fund raising ideas of your own, please call 732-888-1000 or visit them on-line at www.poac.net.

did they announce for sure that there were VIP opportunities for this show?

Sadly, I have decided not to go to this one. I am going to Toms River, and am uneasy about waiting on line for general admission in NYC ...

To all of you who are braver and hardier than I am .... PM me if you would like my tickets. I have two. Thanks and have a great Thanksgiving!.

All the best,
Pina

Being a VIP is the best birthday present I could give my best friend. Imagine meeting Chris on your birthday!!!

i would love to meet Chris Daughtry and the band, and maybe get an autograph.

Want to meet the band.......want to see them again!

My husband has been to concerts at this theater. There is standing in the front but there are also rows of seating in the back. Either way.. he says that it is a great venue. I'm counting down the days!

Does anyone have experience going to a GA show at a venue this size - this place has about 2,000 seats. Will it be hours on line to get in? Not sure if I want to wait for hours outside in the freezing cold - NYC always seems so much colder than the suburbs! Of course, I guess one could always go late and not wait, but end up in the back.

I may give up my tickets since I am going to Toms River and as of now I am in Sec 117, just a few rows off the front corner of the stage for that show. Though I may trade up for floor tickets if any close ones are available - have only seen 13 row or so lately.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

How cool is this, our first visit to New York from England and we have got tickets to see Daughtry.
Can't wait to rock out in the big apple, see you all there!!!

sounds like some of the tickets I've had. My guess is its general admission-standing. The "seats" are probably just to keep count. Usually it's first come, first served. So get there early to be close to the stage. Of course this is just a guess based on a couple of the shows I've been to.
