I am finally getting around to posting. I thought the show was fantastic! I took my son as part of his Christmas. It was his first concert and he loved it! To those who complained about the time, etc and school age kids- Concerts are designed for adults and older teens, not 12 year olds. It's not Hannah Montana!
Chris and the band were awesome. I think he sounds better in person! I even enjoyed the opening acts.
If you get the opportunity to see him don't pass it up!

It was my first concert and it was amazing.....i absolutely love the cd but after the concert you have a new found love, respect, and feeling when listening to it...They rocked the entire time they were up there...they are all so talented & i cant wait for another one =)...we had 3rd row seats...we got great pics..and i got to meet Joey, Chris, and JP afterwards...i couldnt have had a better first show...this def. wont be my last *ha

SoOo this was my THIRD concert and def. NOT my last...

So we left Saturday morning to go to Charlotte...once we finally got there we got ready and went shopping..we couldn't find anything...so we were on our way to see the guys after the concert ((since we didn't get to go))...and it was pi***ng down the rain..we couldn't see AnYtHiNg and it was FREEZING...so we decided the guys probably wouldn't come out anyways since it was raining so hard...so we just went back and rocked out to the cd *ha...we def. got like 3 hours of sleep and were up again....

8 AM def. came to fast...so we got up shopped a lil more and were on the road again...we get to the hotel and get in our room..we all had like 2 hours to get ready..we were all rushing like crazy...so the shower was the coldest i have ever taken...{{so aggravated by this point}}..then we had to be switched to another room bc our pipes were all f*ed up...soo anyways we all get ready and are trying to find Timmons...we stopped at the stop light and asked this older couple for direction...they ended up taking us all the way there..they were the sweetest ppl ever...

SoO the openers *ha...I did like The Midway State...i couldn't keep my eyes off of the lead singer...he was so into it..& sOo adorable *ha...I so decided that FROBOY was going to be my future man hA*... i def. wanted to go up and met them but once we got up there the staff was like you have to go to the back of the line..and i was not about to miss Crashed...so we didn't get to meet them Sad..i was a little sad but def completely forgot about it as soon as the lights dimed *ha

We had 3rd row center tickets...They guys completely rocked the stage the whole time they were on it...it was beyond amazing...there are no words to even describe it...i rocked out..and was in complete awl...it was completely beyond any words that could describe emotions .....each one of the guys were great..they are all so talented...who cares about the mic problems...we know the words and rocked out anyways..the show was fantastic anyways...i loved Steely's reggae CRAZY TRAIN performance and was hoping to hear Joey..but didn't get to..its good tho..he rocked those drums...i def loved his faces ...JP was amazing and i loved watching him rock out..he is sooo adorable((they all are))...he def was all over the stage Smiling and twisting and turning hA*...Steely and Craddock were fantastic to...i loved the backwards hat on Steely.. ohh sooo HOT *ha...Chris has such an amazing voice...his voice just goes deep into your soul...you can just feel every word he is singing...soo the mic messed up but we were soo on it for him *ha... Soo I totally got the water bottle that Chris threw * Yes I know OMFG !!! I love it

After the show we so just pushed our way thru..we were determined *ha..So as we were pushing, some girl decided to say " Im so gonna snatch her water bottle" so I totally turned around and told her " If you touch my water bottle I will F**k you up" She kinda Chuckled, but it so wasn't funny at the time hA*... So then when we got outside, we were totally on the wrong side..but ended up meeting 3 great girls *ha...(Traci, Tracy, & Michelle) they were to much fun...we were all just standing there when we heard screaming from the other side..we all just took off running...and so decided that the jeep would keep up warm since umm none of us had coats on hA*...once we got there JP was out signing and taking pics...he was soo sweet...So excited that JP wrote " I love you " in my book ... Then we went back to the jeep to keep warm and guess what... here comes CARTER in the jeep with us to get warmed up hA*... He said Chris was not coming out, right when we heard screaming... Carter looks and said " Oh s*** gotta go" and it was Chris and Joey....we couldn't get pics with Chris..it was extremely cold and understandable...we def. dont want him to lose his voice...we def. got to hang out with Joey a little bit...take some pics and cuddle hA* .. he is adorable...and to funny..."kittiecat" lol *ha...Steely and Craddock didn't come out so hopefully next time we will be able to get pics w/ them...

A 7 hour trip was sooo totally worth it...standing out in the cold for 2 hrs and 15 min was also worth it....the guys were really sweet....it was an amazing trip and i cant wait to do it again the guys are all soo amazing and so multi talented....and they totally love their fans....and we def. absolutely love them..Cant wait for another one with my sehctib

DAUGHTRY fan is what I am... Proud to admit this addiction *

We knew Daughtry would be a "good" show, but OMG, we did not expect the "Absolutely Fantastic" show that we saw. The first opening band was not all that great, the second opener was a lot better, but Daughtry themselves were "OUT OF THIS WORLD!!". My husband even said he would "pay to see them again", and he never says that about anything or anyone! My two favorite songs are "What I Want" and There And Back Again", and I have to give "ALL THE KUDOS" to the band for continuing when Chris' mic went out. THE BAND DID NOT MISS A BEAT"!!!, and the second time around with vocals was well worth it. The performance of "Imagine" was SUPER, and Josh did a KOOL rendition of "Crazy Train"! "Paradise City" and "Home Sweet Home" were better than the originals, and I have always loved GNR and MC. As a TRUE ROCKER CHIC, I loved feeling the music in my chest, LOUD AND PROUD!! That was truly to loudest show I have been to since KISS several years ago, and that is also one of the things that pleasantly surprised me. I have seen many groups on their "debut" tours, and I can say hands down, you guys were the best. It was as if you had been together FOREVER! Keep up the good work, and I promise to do our part of buying albums and tickets. I saw Bon Jovi on their debut tour as a opening act (OOPS, TELLING MY AGE!! LOL!!!), and I still pay to see them, which is something I believe I will be saying about you guys in years to come. It has been a long time since I have been this overwhelmingly impressed, and I don't think my husband ever has been...GREAT JOB to all involved.

Once again, DAUGHTRY blew it away !! They are such a great band and each one of them is absolutely so talented !! I had wonderful seats, so I got good pics... I love Daughtry and they never get old... Loved the steely performance of a reggae Crazy Train =) so awesome... and total props to JOEY/ CHRIS/ JP for sticking it out in the cold for us DIEHARD fans !! An extra thanks to CARTER for trying to hook it up for us hA*... again thanks to JB for keeping me warm and taking fun pics with us !! I love you hunni.... Too all who missed it, sorry for you because it was truly an Outstanding show.... Cant wait till the next one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The concert in Greenville was just AWESOME!! There is no other word for it. Who cares about 2 opening bands or mic malfunctions?! He still got out there and rocked it! I was at the concert at the state fair in Raleigh and this concert knocked that one out! I loved the new song and all the covers!! Daughtry is just one great band and I am looking forward to future concerts and the new album!!

The show in Greenville, SC was beyond AMAZING!!! That's all I can really say -these guys didn't let anyone down! I wasn't ready to leave...their energy was awesome! This was actually my 1st (shameful I know) Daughtry concert && I was expecting an awesome time, but I got an AMAZING time!!! I can't wait to see these guys again!!!!!!!!!!

Afterwards, the guys came out && signed some autographs, took some pics, && went above && beyond expectations for us! Standing out in 24 degree weather was WELL BEYOND WORTH IT! I'd do it all over again!

Thanks Guys for not only a GREAT show but the love you showed afterwards as well!!!

I can't even begin to explain how AWESOME this concert was!! Other than screaming, I was left speechless. It so didn't matter that there were mic problems with the first song....it ROCKED! It was hysterical listening to Chris say "well that sucked" "lets do it again" lol. AWESOME!! Every concert we go to gets better and better!!! You guys ROCKED!!! I really really want to give the band a HUGE HUGE thank you for coming outside is 25 degree weather to meet us!!!! I was freezing but every second outside there was more than worth getting the bands autographs, pictures and hugs!!! I'm sure in a few days I'll be sick, lol. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU guys for coming freezing your butts off all to make your fans dreams come true of meeting you guys! Hopefully all our hugs kept you guys a bit warmer!!!! You guys were awesome and I can't wait for the next concert!!!

I had an awesome time at the show last night! My friend and I were on Row 14 and we were defintely not standing still, we were singing every word or screaming or jumping the whole time! Someone has got to let me in on the secret of getting front row seats, or at least top 5. I was so jealous of everyone up there, especially when Chris jumped off the stage! I did not want the show to come to an end! I loved the new song "Back to Me" all the covers, well I actually loved everything about it! I don't think Daughtry could disappoint me! I'm already looking forward to the next show. Daughtry, please come back to the Carolinas often! We would love to have ya'll anytime!

This was my 1st Daughtry concert & it was awesome. I loved every second of it. I didn't like that 2nd band they sucked. My daughter went with me & she loved it. School is already out for the Holiday's here so she didn't have to get up this morning, only me for work. I cant wait for them to come back around here, I'm going to see them every chance I get. I loved the new song, cant wait for the new album.

WOW!!! I don't know where to start; this show ROCKED!!! Who cares about mic issues; Chris and the gang handled it professionally and then some!!! Are all of our work days, perfect???

"Back to Me" was beautiful; can't wait for it on the next CD!!!!! Josh doing his "singing thing", GREAT!!! Want that on the next CD, also!!!!! I didn't realize Joey had on a kilt until he came down from his platform; wooooooooooooooooo baby!!!!! Only real men wear kilts!!!!!:-0

EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING about the DAUGHTRY concert was OVER THE TOP!!!!! Having a 2nd row seat didn't hurt, either! The ONLY way to see DAUGHTRY!!

Just watching the guys have fun; MOST of the crowd having fun; the guy personalities coming through, etc., etc., etc. I could go on and on, but I won't, because you all KNOW what I'm talking about!!! And most of it has been said, already, but I just had to put in my 25 cents worth:-)

This show was so freaking awesome! I've just went back and read thru some of the comments. I don't know what show some people were at, but this rocked! I saw Daughtry at the Orange Peel in Asheville, and he has just come leaps and bounds from there! And I thought Asheville's show was great!

Yes, there were tech problems, but that's going to happen! Everything was fixed, and they rocked out! I got some freking awesome pix that I'm so amazed at. I will try to post some later!

As for the opening acts, I'm sure Daughtry has no control over that. And most concerts have 2 opening acts. Sorry for the people that had to leave, but that's just the way it is with concerts. How is Chris supposed to know how many school aged children are in the crowd?

We went and rocked out. my brother was able to come along with my husband and sil, and they were as stoked as I was! My brother couldn't believe how great the show was!

Just wanted to let you guys know, if you actually get to read these boards, you completly blew our minds with a fantastic show! KEEP ROCKING!

The show was great as always. I was just shocked when I turned around to look at the crowd and everyone was standing up watching but they were still and their arms by their side. I was Front row so you know I could not be still. I am not sure what the differnce was from the night before but at Ovens the whole place was rocking. Way different atmosphere!!!!!

I am sorry that there was sound problems last night for your show. I am also sorry that some left the show early because of school today. If you had stayed and seen Chris and the guys put on an AWESOME show. They perform usually for over an hour. When they played here in Syracuse it was for 70 minutes and well worth it. NoleGirl just go have fun you will enjoy all from opening song to close. It will be soooooooo worth it for you.

I thought the show was awesome! Chris is so into the crowd, and I loved it! He handled the mic malfunction very well also. I agree that 2 opening bands was a little much. But if you bring school aged kids to a rock concert, you can't exactly expect to be out of there by 9.

This will definitely not be my last Daughtry concert!

About that..I agree 2 opening bands was too much. Daughtry performed for about an hour and a half +/-. It was worth the wait but a little irritating sitting through the other acts, the first of which was (sorry to say) pretty bad. The second, pretty good.

This is the 4th time I've seen Daughtry and it just gets better and better. The light show was awesome. Chris's new song "Back to Me" is just beautiful. He writes and sings with such beautiful emotion. He sang "Imagine" better than Lennon himself.

There was some technical difficulty with Chris's mike cutting out during the entire performance of "What I Want." The band played on while Chris exited the stage after trying 2 dead mikes. When the guys finished the song, Chris reappeared and echoed what the audience was thinking "That sucked!" He asked if we heard any of his vocals and after a resounding "NO" from the crowd, he declared "Let's do it again." It was really cute and funny and he had such a connection with his fans. His personality and sense of humor was showcased last night more than any other time I've seen him. He has obviously become more comfortable on stage.

Josh S's reggae version of "Crazy Train" was cute and Joey's kilt was...ummmm a brave fashion choice.

The band has melded together so well and is so in sync. It warms my heart to see Chris enjoying the success he deserves. Love you Chris! Merry Christmas and may God bless you and your beautiful family in 2008

I don't know how long they performed. I had to leave at 10. The concert started at 7:30, but there were two opening bands. Why two?! Daughtry didn't get started until almost 9:30. He has a room full of school aged children and he starts at 9:30 on a Sunday night! My son, who's 12 and this was his first rock concert, got tired and wanted to leave at 10. So we did. I feel like I wasted my money. The tickets were my son's birthday present. Should have done something else.

it sounds like you were more disappointed by the venue than the actual show.. although i'm from ny & wasn't there, your complaints were about your seats & the lighting.. something the band doesn't have much if any control over..you said it yourself the songs were great, what you could understand anyway..don't rule out another show just for that reason..i GUARANTEE you, give it another try and i know it'll be worth it.. DAUGHTRY is the best live band around!! i'd give anything to get to attend another show but with the break & the upcoming tour w/bon jovi who knows when that'll be..so cheer up & be glad you were in their presence!

Daughtry was awesome last night!! I was on the front row and it was so unbelievable. I got great pictures and he even came down the row and shook our hands!! Daughtry totally delivered everything I expected and more last night. Paradise City was the best! I never wanted the show to end. I hope to see him many more times in the future. Daughtry, you are the best!

Ok so i am a big big fan and was so upset with my seats bro and sis in law went with me and we were in the upper lvl second row and could not hear alot we hear music but half of the words to the songs we could not here. dont get me worng U did a great job but it would have been nice to here what you were saying and even get a ok pic the lighting was so bad that nothing showed up. I also wanted a cd so bad and they had none for sell. So i was kinda upset about that. the show was ok i guess i was kinda disaponited. Oh yea and when U was sing a long a spot light would have been nice so we could see you. but what are you going to do! I am a big big fan but not sure if i would go to anohter show!

...was awesome! Chris had a mic malfunction in the beginning when every one he grabbed didnt wanna work. The guys jammed out the song anyway, then he came back out n said"Well that sucked" n they jammed it out again, w/ him this time. They sounded terrific! I am even more addicted to them. That Joey...watching him play...*sigh*. I love the acoustic stuff, ALOT! And the covers they did, it all was just great! I took my 6y/o daughter and it was a special mother - daughter night. Thanks guys for making the wait worth it, cause I gotta tell you, the past week seemed like a month. Be safe! <3 ya's!

I was just watching VH1 and Daughtry's interview and my husband came in the room. He always teases me about my "obsession" and said it sure would be great if I could see them again in concert. I told him that I wanted to see them in Atlanta(that's where I live) when they come in April. He said it would be greater if I could see them sooner, like in a week in Greenville. I thought he was just joking, but then he told me that he has me two tickets for the second row!!!!!! I can't believe I'm going to road trip to see Daughtry! Best Christmas present ever. Now I just have to figure out who to take with me, hubby is going to stay home and take care of the kids!
