Chris' voice was spot-on, the energy was high, the covers were beautiful, the band was ROCKIN. Absolutely amazing. I understand exactly how Chris feels about the show. I can't quite put my finger on it but the whole concert felt like a dream to me. As cheesy as it sounds I had to hit myself in the arm to make sure it was real. I can honestly say that I started crying when Chris did his acoustic set ("Imagine", "All These Lives", "Back To Me")

I could feel the love all the way in Row V. A BIG thanks and hugs to Chris, Joey, JP, Josh and Brian for giving us an unbelieveable experience that we will never forget.

What else can I say Daughtry rocks and so do his fans. I was lucky enough to have pit tickets and the whole experience was just amazing. Chris even came out to sign autographs for us crazy people who were standing out in the pouring, cold, freezing, rain. Thank you so much Chris you gave me a night I will never forget.

Never Again, you definitely seem to have an agenda to push. You spend an awful lot of time posting your thoughts about a band who disappointed you so. You said your piece initially. If you felt so strongly about it, and meant what you said about being disappointed, you wouldn't be back here posting again, or caring what anyone else said here in response to you. Get over it folks.....I've been to more concerts than most of you put together....I was there and got in at 6:20 when the big security guy unlocked the doors and the big guy on the stairs finished giving the security speech......whether you like it or not I did not think it was a good concert....I am well aware of warm up bands.....Days of Fire sucked ....the other band has some promise.....warm up bands should do that...warm up the crowd....most folks were talking while these bands played....I've seen warmups for decades...in 72 a band called J Geils warmed up for Ten Years After at the War Memorial and nearly stole the show from the headliner and of course went on to be a big act of their own.....if you loved Daughtry more power to ya.....for me he was flat, predicatable and I had hope for far more originality......and Chris...do yourself a favor and can the juvenile running around during the warmups with the nerf guns and stuff....it was stupid.....rock on folks....just find someone good to rock to

this is my first fan based web site that i have ever joined and i am totally in awe how Chris actually logs on and leaves his own personal messages! This shows me what a true kind harted person that i always believed him to be!! As far as waiting for Daughtry to hit the stage, if you were a true fan..it wouldnt matter how long you had to wait because once you heard the sounds of his voice and were in the presence of his being, any wait is worth the time! You obviously have never been to many concerts before, because everyone knows there are opening acts and the headliner never appears at the state time of the show!! HELLO....The only draw back was that you could not take pictures.

I went to 9 shows and am thrilled that this was the one that will be my last ( at least for awhile)
Thank you all for braving the rain and coming out to the fans as well. It is unreal the time , energy and love you give to us. This is what sets you guys apart and why you have completely, utterly devoted fans from now until the end of time.

This show was amazing and I'm already trying to figure out where I'm going to travel to see them again. I don't know what your prob is Never Again, but you must have been in different world!

Those comments sound very similar to posts made by the persistent bashers of another fan base. I am not sure why they would waste their time going around bashing Daughtry. There are other things to do with your life. It's one thing if you don't enjoy a show, but those comments don't sound accurate.
I think it just goes to show how special these guys are that they take the time to come post here. They are humble, genuine and truly care about the fans. I have been to many concerts here in Syracuse and surrounding areas and DAUGHTRY is absolute the BEST there is.

I was at the concert Tuesday and that place was ROCKIN all night long and even after the concert I hear DAUGHTRY music coming from cars blasted so loud. LOL

1st. I like to say that "Days of Fire" is the next band to look out for since that is the best opening acts I have ever seen too.They definitly got the crowd pumped up for Chris.I think it is funny Chris and Joey came out on stage during there last song I never seen the headline come out before there time.That was nice that they did that.I know it was them when they came out. EX: chains,tattoo,etc...I hope DOF releases another CD soon since the 2 CD's I bought are AWSOME and I want some more.It was also cool that the DOF came out and signed the CD's for us.That never happens at concerts."Not that I seen"

2nd.I hope I don't get no heat from this but here I go. I really didn't care to much about The Midway State act.I appreciate them coming on stage giving there best but I just didn't care for them that much. "Sorry guys" PLEASE NO - FEEDBACK"

3rd. DAUGHTRY was just awsome on stage and he definitly gave his best performance I have ever seen or heard.I love the new song he has came out with and I know it is going to be #1 on the billboards and radio stations WORLD WIDE.I cant wait til he comes out with the new album. Did anyone catch when it might be coming out?

4th. Security was tough for this concert because of the LT I believe since they did not want things getting destroyed and people forming mosh pits.

5th. As for the cameras I brought mine like I said I would take the chance .The security guy patted me down and found the camera.LOL He told me I can not bring the camera inside the LT and I was like what do you want me to do with it? He told me to take the batteries out and hide them somewhere,so I did that and went in with the massive crowd building up around the clothing and beer.So I could not take pictures *SIGH* I went in and watched the opening acts perform.Later on before DAUGHTRY came on stage I went back outside to have a cigarette and I sneaked my batteries back inside when security was not looking :")~
I put them in my shoes since they pat you down EVERYTIME you come back inside,and they dont check your shoes.SO I was happy that I could take some pictures Chris performing.

6th. As for the "Never" comment....It sounds like to me that you are that NASTY lady that I talked to about the cameras and had a attitude. You prolly had FREE tickets and dont even like DAUGHTRY.You prolly just took the tickets for the kids for a CHEAP X-mas presant.

7th. Last but not least I will put some pictures up on my webpage on "Friday" if you want to save some memories if you could not use your camera.I was basically in the front row but for some reason cameras make it look like you are far back and I do not like that.LOL
I did have good seats at the concert.

CHRIS - How many rock stars take the time to sign onto a forum to thank their fans? You are one special person. That is why at the age of 57 I have suddenly become a groupie. I have met the most incredible people because of you and feel so fortunate to "have you in my life".
I had been to two other concerts including Vegas and I felt there was an energy and sense of fun in Syracuse that was special. I'm so glad you and the guys had a great time and I am soooooo HAPPY that I was one of the lucky ones to be there. I knew it was going to be my best birthday present ever, and I was right.
One of these days I'm going to get one of those renowned Daughtry hugs, but until then I'll remember the hand clasp in Niagara Falls. Have a fun Christmas with the family and thank you for bringing so much joy to my life.

WOW, I Dont know how anyone can say that concert was not AMAZING. I have been to a few concerts and by far that was the best EVER. It will be a day I will remember forever!!! I hope Chris and the guys will come back soon. Wish we could have had cameras.

This was an amazing night! It was my first time seeing Daughtry live and it was better than I had imagined it would be. It was also my kids first concert and , thanks to Daughtry, they LOVE concerts and can't wait to see them again! This was the best Christmas present-thank you so much for giving us your all and making us love you even more for it! You have an amazing voice and the band definitely knows how to rock!

Chris, U & UR band DAUGHTRY were totally awesome, Days Of Fire where awesome too, I screamed my longs out, Chris U alway make a strong connection with UR fans & that's what I love about U, I've seen U guys @ all UR NY State Shows & every time DAUGHTRY comes to NY UR shows get better & better. Chris, U & DAUGHTRY have grown so much as artists. Chris UR voice is truely amazing, & also thank us fans & it really touches my heart when I hear U say those worlds. & U always get UR fans fired up @ very show, I was going right along with U. guys, & loved it Chris, when U though UR water bottles in the crowd & also love when U use Ur bow horn UR so awesome. I lost my voice & my back hurts from jumping & screaming so much. I got out of my wheelchair & stood up, but I almost feel. I was so excited. I'm also so excited Ur new single, Feels Like tonight, & it will be on VH1's top 20 in 2008 I can see it now. I shore hope UR new song U wrote, Come Back To Me, Makes The new DAUGHTRY record. I know it will be a wile before DAUGHTRY'S new record is released but I'll have to wait. I loved that song. If you wanted to make people bewildered and confused on your thinking and were you at the same concert, you certainly did.
I have been going to concerts for longer than you. Not because I'm necessarily older but because I have been into them all my life, very young up to now. I have no idea on this so I'm guessing. I've also seen long time proven bands and because of my experience, I can recognize when someone has it. Daughtry does.
The fact that you were disappointed at being kept waiting while warm up bands came on???? Ok that one has me confused.
There is always warm up bands at concert venues like theatres and such. The fact that you never even gave the warm up bands a chance, you judged juried and tried them just because they came on instead of Daughtry at 7:30 makes me wonder how many concerts have you really been too. Everyone knows warm up bands come on at these venues and are cutting their teeth and learning good experience so you give them encouragement by cheering them on. You'd be surprised how many warm up bands I have seen who were inexperienced at one time are now big time head liners. Short sightedness is never an attractive trait by a concert goer. A discerning ear is. Both bands showed mega potential for the future in different ways.
It truly sounded to me from your post that you didn't want to there in the first place.
And a canned performance, hmmm half of the songs sang by Daughtry were not on the CD. Again, were you at the same concert?
Either way, I feel sorry you come to a show to judge. We all came to enjoy and experience.

The fact that Chris took the time to let us know how much he appreciated us all last night speaks volumes to his dedication to his fans. From what I can tell, it's the first and only time he's ever commented on a show in that way. How special is that!! I know that I will never forget rockin' in the pit with DAUGHTRY at the Landmark!! Chris .......... you and the guys could arrive onstage an hour late and I would not care! Syracuse was my third concert (not including the first GMA) and although Universal will always have a special place in my heart, and Ottawa was incredible because Michele and I had the wonderful one on one with all of you - Syracuse was utterly fantastic! You have grown into your skin - you deserve to headline wherever you go. I laughed at your antics, I cried all through Imagine and sang along with every single song ................... you five young men are destined for greater things and I thank you for letting me be a part of the beginning.
I also thank you from the bottom of my heart for coming out in the pouring rain to sign autographs and was so pleased that my sketch managed to arrive in your hands and that you liked it. What you did not see was the t-shirt with another version of the sketch that I was wearing ........ but ....... that is a small thing.

I just have to say that I had an amazing time at the concert. Thank you Chris for coming to Syracuse. It was a great night for me and my daughter. Unfortunately, I didn't wait for Chris and the band to come out at the end because I had to get my daughter home, otherwise she wouldn't have made it to school this morning. And also, I was lucky enough to meet Chris after the AI concert in Rochester and got pics and an autograph then. He was so genuine and kind. I'm glad that fame hasn't changed him. Regarding no cameras, I guess I was one of the lucky ones. When I got "patted down" she asked what I in my pocket and I told her a camera and she told me just don't get caught with it. We sat all the way to the side on the loge and my daughter was able to get pictures with no problem at all. Once again, thanks for the wonderful memories and please come back to Syracuse soon!

....the energy and strength the guys showed on stage was incredible. From the minute Chris & Joey walked on stage with DOF we knew we were in for a great ride last night.
The show in Albany at the Palace was at the top of my list until this one.....every song was dead on, plus new ones for me.... Imagine, All these Lives, Paradise City, Steelys Reggae....and of course Back To Me....it melts my heart. Who thought the best night in Albany...could be topped! I cannot describe how happy I am to have had this experience as my last show of the tour. Chris, the passion you have for what you do is indescribable...thank you for sharing it with us! You guys rock!

I had an amazing time with the friends I made here, and will never forget sharing this show with all of you girls! Here's to many, many more in the future...its only going to get better!

Chris, it is you and the guys we have to thank. Every show I have been to, you guys put in an extra effort and you change up all the time which makes each one a new experience. This must take a lot of work on your part and it is very much appreciated.
I'll tell you right now when you asked how many people were seeing you for the first time, over 2/3 of the audience put their hand up.
And they were cheering as loud as the rest of us long time fans. You guys did that. You guys deserve that.
And I'm sorry that the camera thing didn't work out this time as we had to give them up. Not your fault but we did it in respect to the laws there.
You probably couldn't see this either but there was a heck of a lot of camera phones held up when you asked for people to hold the cameras up. They don't flash like a camera does but if it had been cameras, it would have been spectacular.
And thank you for coming out in the rain to sign autographs. That was very special and it was Helen (Kalan) who drew that beautiful picture of you guys. I was so impressed with her drawing which she sent out as Christmas cards this year that I thought it was something special to get your signature on. I will treasure that card for many reasons. These memories, people met and adventures that have happened to many of us this last year we all have are because of you and a few other special people.

sounds like the show was phenominal..I didn't get a ticket b/c I was worried about driving in snow at this time of the year so far north. I DID however have to say that Reading this past Saturday, surpassed all the shows I've ever been to and will remain forever dear in my heart! I can't believe Syracuse could have possibly beat Reading!
