Sorry this is late...But congrats DAUGHTRY! You guys deserved each of the 3 awards you received. My fingers were crossed the whole night. Even though in my heart I already know you guys won!!

Congrats, guys! VERY WELL DESERVED! I think the T-Mobile Text-In thing was fixed, though. There is NO WAY that any of the Carrie Underwood fans voted as much as we did!!! I had my husband on the other computer, voting continuously while I did the same on my laptop. We did this for a couple of days and I had been voting at least a hundred times every day, before that! I know that all of the fans were voting hundreds of times! Oh well, they won the IMPORTANT awards and that's what counts! I'm just glad that the rest of the world is seeing what we see.

and so THANKFUL that you have allowed us to feel that we are along for this ride right beside you. Thank you for blessing us with your talents and all that you are! What an awesome year this has been!

CONGRATULATIONS!

So now that all is said and done, I’ve been reflecting on last night and have, until now, been at a loss for what to say. This is my feeble attempt.

What an incredible ride this has been!

Thank you to the guys for letting us in, for giving us the opportunity to ride the proverbial wave. I think I speak for most of us here when I say how incredibly proud we are of you, and that most of us were screaming at our televisions, fist-pumping, hollering like football players after the slaughter of their biggest rival.

We felt like we were winning right next to you!
We felt like we were a part of the whole thing!
We felt like we won too!

In the end, of course, you did all the work. It was your talents, your personalities, and that unbelievable work ethic, that won all of us over. All we ever did was click our mice, albeit at times, for hours on end.

Kudos, of course, also go to the wives, the silent supporters, who give you the love and the space you need to grow. We thank them for sharing!

Last night was redemption and revelation for all of us.

I could say that I cannot imagine how it must feel, but in a way, I can! When you sang, we sang along with you. When you teared-up, we did so in kind. To be able to sit among and thank childhood idols as you accept an award… a priceless moment indeed!

I couldn’t be happier. Couldn’t be prouder.

Perhaps now you understand why we remain faithful… through numbing cold, rain, sleet and snow… the relentless sun… the long hours. It’s worth it. You’re worth it!

So take the time to soak it all in. Let it fill you. Savor and save those memories. Recall them when frustration comes. Use them as incentive, as inspiration.

And know… We, your humble masses, will be there for you… Cheering for you every step of the way.

I am humbled and blessed to be your fan... and friend.

1st off Chris, U have no idea how proud of u I am. I knew U were going to win all along, I love how U thanked the fans Chris, But it's not just about the fans, It's about DAUGHTRY also, I've suported U DAUGHTRY since American Idol & even after U put UR band togeather Chris, I looked foreword to when UR debout album DAUGHTRY was released on November 21 2006, I bought it on that same day. right after I got out of work, I was excited. I've traveled all over NY State to attend all UR NY State shows. New York is my home state. The only DAUGHTRY New York show I missed was Niagara Falls NY, I had to work that day, I knew I wouldn't make it, I get out of work at 4pm everyday & I live 4 hours away from where U guys were playing on November 6th, Other then that, DAUGHTRY U guys truely ROCKED the American Music Awards last night. Each time they said UR name DAUGHTRY, I was so very excited. I couldn't even sit still last night, I made my father mad because was screaming I was so excited. My mother says" Oh Jim, she's a DAUGHTRY FAN, & music was & is ways her passion so let her be excited. CONGADULATIONS once again DAUGHTRY on all UR success & UR 3 AMA wins last night, I'll see U guys on road once again. Euphoric is not a word I would normally use to describe my feelings on a Monday morning ........ today is the exception. Three awards and an absolutely incredible performance of Home ...... I feel like I have not slept. I cried four times last night, but crying for pure happiness is good for the soul. And pride, pride in the success of five young men who have made such a difference in my life, in my outlook and in my world. Chris, Josh, Josh Paul, Joey and Brian .......... what can I say? Five amazingly talented young men who have come together to give the world DAUGHTRY and yet remain genuine, humble, kind human beings. Heaven-sent.

Last night was the validation ....... the validation of a long year on the road, concerts night after night, missing their familes, occasionally enduring the behaviour of 'grasping' fans ............ the validation for us and the true fans all over the world who believed in them through everything. I watched Chris' eyes while he sang ..... the old soul we have always seen is still there .......... and always will be.

Deanna, I love you for giving us Chris ~ Lisa, I love you for bringing together an amazing group of ladies; Chris ~ I love you for giving us DAUGHTRY ~ Josh, Josh Paul, Joey & Brian, I love you for being you.

I guess crying five times out of pure happiness is not so bad either.

My 2 year old was so bummed about not going with mama and her brother to Chicago's PBS soundstage recording. She is forever singing "home". so tonight, when you guys got on stage, I could hear her babbling in her bed. I got her up and we danced in the living room while she watched in awe of seeing "KWIS DAWTWY" on t.v. (we have a 61" so it was almost as if you were standing in our living room lol).

When the song was finished, she looked at me with a big smile on her little face and said, "i wanna see it again".

I completely agree with her. You can never get sick of seeing DAUGHTRY! NOT EVER!!!!!!
