haha ill try and summarise what i said but its all a bit of a blur....

i spoke to joey first and i apolgised for snatching the stick out of his hand when he came over at the end of the show, i was just desperate to have it and there were like a million hands trying to reach it lol. he said it was fine and signed it for me! i asked if i could have a pic and then i said 'oh i should hold the stick in the pic' and he said cheekily 'u can hold my stick' lol but i was with my mum so i was like u cant say that, thats my mum there lol and he was like 'hi sams mum' and then my mum was awesome cuz she asked 'could i have a kiss cuz i think ur gorgeous' lol and so he gave her one on the cheek haha i was so jealous!!!

didnt get to speak to josh this time as there was a girl all over him
missed jp too cuz he had to get bk to VIP. which was a bit crap cuz hes the only one i havent met.

i spoke to brian again and he was so sweet! he signed a pic of us from last time but it was a bit of a close up so he had no where to sign, so he said he would write on his head and i was like no u cant write on ur head, write on mine so then we ended up arguing where he should sign lol and we spoke bout his new hair cut and i told him how good it looks lol

chris came out last, so most people had gone by then. he was in such a good mood, and seemed so happy to be there. i had the same discussion about signing my photo as i had with brian lol chris wanted to write on his forehead cuz he said it was big but i couldnt have that lol
then we had a talk about the gig and a mistake with his megaphone that happened lol

and that was about it, sorry if that didnt make sense or bored u

i would talk to them bout guitars daughtryrox but i have no guitar knowledge lol
maybe i can ask them if they enjoyed australia and if they have any places they think i should go when i visit next month? or maybe i should just leave it up to chance and see what comes out of my mouth, although thats the more dangerous option lol

I SHOULD DO THAT AT THE NEXT CONCERT I GO TO! Plus Brian is an INCREDIBLE guitarist just like Josh, so i would LOVE to talk to them about guitar!

and everyone is right. You DO freeze up. I never did get to say any of the things I had waited so long to say to them. But at least I got my Chris hug; and wow, does Chris ever give phenomenal hugs!

I did feel much better about it though when Hunnydusst wrote that one never can anticipate what one will say or do when that moment finally arrives; and, to simply go with it and let it unfold the way it unfolds, because as she put it, "It's all good."

im glad im not the only one ozigal lol. so do u guys recken they will be back over your way soon then? cuz i will be in aus from dec to march and will be in nz till april. it would be great if i could catch them over there as well as here. ive actually managed to get tickets to see kelly clarkson in sydney which im really excited about, the only thing is ill miss her uk tour cuz ill still be away.

I can so relate to the whole going blank thing . I was kicking myself for ages afterwards thinking of what I should have said/asked. You wait so long for this moment & then nothing happens as you planned.

I still cringe when I think of some of the lame things I said to Joey.......lol

Don't think you're alone with freezing. The announcer on the radio just phoned up someone who won a chance to meet their favourite at a concert soon. She screamed and cried. But then when they talked about it in the studio, they said whenever that happens, on the day, the person does usually freeze and stays in the background.

Guess your mind blanks out then afterwards you'd think of all the things you should have said or done! But even seeing them and being so close would be something to remember!

well i met chris and the band when they came to london, and i totally froze lol. i was gutted afterwards that i didnt say more but oh well at least i got to say hi.
i did talk to joey a bit about him smashing all of his drums and i spoke to brian because he stole my pen. he took it to sign other peoples things then he came back and said 'did i just steal ur pen' and i was like 'yeh' and he gave me it back and said 'well i dont want being a pen theif on my concience' and i just giggled like a little girl. so wish i had thought of something whitty to say now lol. any way enough of my rambling. hope u get to meet them soon jojo

PACT jojo! You're on! Love to have someone to meet and hang out with and do all the things that husband's would think are absolutely stupid!

Well, did win $33 a couple of weeks ago and put in an envelope to save, but then used it towards a DVD set we wanted. Trouble is, though my idea in the first place was that I'd get a ticket to try to win enough to travel to see a Daughtry concert, it ended up being a joint ticket! Maybe I should get my own 'secret' ticket.

Join us in trying ozigal - if you're not in you can't win I decided! The only way I could see to have a chance of making a decent amount of money, to be able to do what I'd love to. Only spend $2.40 a week myself on it - at the moment.

would be great! As jojo said, a day with them would be fantastic, plenty of time to talk about everything we've ever wanted to, but even just to sit down & have a drink or two chatting.............that would be a dream come true!

I know I was very lucky to have my brief moment but I am still jealous of all the girls that have met & hung out with them several times. Think I need to start buying lotto tickets too!

Yep, agree jojo - just seeing them 'live' would be fantastic. And I'd be more than happy to just say 'Hi' face to face. That would be enough, and I'd add the other bits if there was a chance - and even more may if there was a major opportunity for a chat!

Would you believe - I've recently started buying Lotto tickets for the pure reason of trying to win enough money to get overseas to see a Daughtry concert, 'cause that's the only way I can see me getting enough money to do it. Didn't tell hubby that's the reason I decided to start getting them though.

That's it I don't really know........

Probably say, glad they made it back as I ever got the chance to see them last time.

How much I really enjoy their music and that I wish them continued success.

It's funny, cause I think would want to talk on a more personal level but in reality these guys don't know us at all, even if we know all about them.

So you are definately more restricted than u would want to be, cause you don't want to look like a complete freak, stalker kinda fan.haha

I guess the limited amount of time u have to doesn't help by the time photos and autographs are done.

In a ideal situation, hanging out with them for a day or something would a)probably give you the time to feel comfortable asking the questions and b) give u enough time to remember them, lol

If only, eh!, we can only dream of that one.

I'm getting a bit cheesed off seeing all these other fans seeing them over and over.*sigh*

Don't get me wrong I am happy for them, just seems some of us are just desperate for one.

This is where having some extra cash would be great, u could just fly to the concerts like a couple of fans from the uk did.

The concert dates are only showing till December.
Wonder when any further dates in 2008 will be announced.

Well, Ozigal had the right idea I'm thinking - acting 'mature' and not bothering them. Got good result from that anyway!
Thing is, however much you would plan, circumstances never turn out like you expected.

Remember reading here once from someone who had decided exactly what she was going to say and what to wear, etc - assuming if the meeting took place it would be at the concert, then met them accidently earlier in the day, while looking a mess and just went blank!

Guess I'd say 'hello' and hope to shake hands. Then say I'm so glad they came to my country (if it's here) who I am and that I'm a member of daughtryofficial and I follow what's going on here.

So what about you Jo? And Ozigal - what will you plan to say next time?

but I did feel a bit unsure whether I'd be annoying them by hanging around. Chris walked away once I had my photo taken & they were busy packing up the van, but Joey stayed to talk so thats why I didn't go over to the other guys. But my mind did go blank & l really wish I had asked more about their time here, what they did, favourite places etc.

Thinking back now I really don't think the guys would have minded if I had talked to them or taken more photos, but everythings always clearer in hindsight! Also I haven't been a 'groupie' since my teens so I was trying to act mature! haha
