I am a fan (and you should be too), because...basically Chris Daughtry ROCKS! I was never an American Idol fan. It was always too commercial. During the season Carrie Underwood won, I started to watch and seemed to be hooked! Then during auditions - here is Chris! A ROCKER! His voice just did something to me, I cant explain it! THEN, he went and sang Dead or Alive. I was immediately sold. I thought for sure he would win! I vowed that I would so follow his career, because nothing but good could come from all this Idol exposure! I am also happy he did not win Idol! I was very shocked - as you saw Catherine was as well. BUT, in the end - Chris (and now "Daughtry") won after all! No contract to bond him to doing only what they want him to do! Creative freedom!!!!! Let freedom ring! The songs on the album are all great! I cant stop listening to it!!! AND....it let him bring this awesome tour to us! I only hope to get tickets!!!

My goal this year is to meet Chris and as many band members as possible. They are for the fans!! I can see this just by looking at the pictures already posted. I would love to take pics at the show, and even get a picture with him/them! I hope you consider picking me for Irving Plaza NYC on 3/19/07!!!

The above was written obviously before April. We tried to get tickets for Irving Plaza. It didnt work out. Something wierd was happening with the onsale times I think. The onsale time was for 12pm. Wouldnt you know... my sister in law tried to call prior to 12 - like 11:50 something - and it only let her select one ticket. She didnt get it b/c there were three of us!! How on earth would they be sold out? BEFORE THE ONSALE TIME!!??

I cant even explain how angered this situation has made me. To top it off...I found out not even a week later there were tix at the box office the night of the show! Who woulda known? So now I am waiting for them to come to NY. Not upstate to places like Erie County! That is so far away!

DAUGHTRY - NYC WANTS YOU IN A BIGGER ARENA THAN IRVING PLAZA!! (JONES BEACH??!!) PLEASE DONT MAKE US WAIT!!!!!!
