I am a fan (and you should be too), because Chris Daughtry was and is the only real talent of this past American Idol. It always amazes me how the 2 people that always make it in the end never really get anywhere because their heads are too big and instead of finding out for themselves, they always let people decide things for them and then they you hear from them once or twice and that's it. But Chris knew he had the talent and we all knew he had the talent, and didn't let the fact that he didn't become the American Idol stop him from doing his own thing and making a name for himself, and I think he did a pretty damn good job. His music is great, his cd is great and I'm sure there will be more great things to come for him and Daughtry.

American Idol should've been just a once and done thing with the first season being it, because that by far has been the best season. This past season proves that especially because the person that did become the idol hasn't gone anywhere with his career or his music, and the guy who didn't become the idol has, and that's awesome!
