I am a fan (and you should be too), because...

Chris Daughtry has it all. The AMAZING voice, the looks, the warm and open personality that people can't help but fall in love with and that star quality that many performers strive to attain.

Chris Daughtry is more than an American Idol; he is an example to us all of what good people are really made of.

My respect and admiration for Chris as a person is infinite. I have such a high regard for the fact that he is so obviously a loving, dedicated family man.

I think the world of Deanna for standing by Chris and believing so much in him and his incredible talent and for encouraging him to share it with the world. They both have beautiful, happy, healthy looking children, too. Their children must be so proud of their Dad.

As well, Chris' good nature, great sense of humour, wonderful spirit and the generous gift of his time to those special people who have crossed his path in the last few months has touched me deeply. His deeds of kindness and generosity are heartwarming to read about and for every new one I read about, my respect and admiration for him increase that much more. Every time I read another article or read about someone's experience of Chris, I am once again astounded at what a kind, caring, and yet humble person he is and how he will go out of his way to make himself available to all his devoted followers, giving his undivided attention and support to even his youngest fans.

Since the time that DAUGHTRY has released their album, I can't get enough of it. I listen to it over and over and over again. They are a very talented group of young men and I look forward to hearing more of them in the coming years. I will buy anything Chris Daughtry records, with whatever band members are with him over time, because he's THAT DAMN GOOD.

While I would have loved to have seen DAUGHTRY perform in Seattle, Washington on February 6, 2007, I was obviously too late in purchasing the tickets because by the time I managed to get online from work to check for availability, the tickets were already sold out.

Now that DAUGHTRY is playing right here in Canada, it's a dream come true. I purchased tickets to the Calgary concert well before any Vancouver concert date was announced, but it's great because I'm going to see DAUGHTRY playing with Nickelback, another favourite band of mine.

I'm really looking forward to the Calgary trip because I've been working very hard and denying myself vacation time for quite a few years now and I'm definitely overdue for a holiday. Being able to turn a DAUGHTRY concert experience into a holiday as well is doubly satisfying. I look forward to seeing and hearing my favourite rockers take Calgary by storm and win the hearts of even more Canadians.
