i finally understood, at the end of the video, what the "you" in "I got over you" refers to, in the context of the video.

and it was a huge revelation, which sends us a very powerful message indeed. loved the setting as well, and how Chris conveyed his emotions.

Your new Video is really well shot and edited. The Set and Lighting are great. The storyline of the video is bold and the message is powerful. This video is a step, a big step up from most video's Kudos to Chris and the Band.

While this has always been called the "break up song", it has such a bigger meaning when watching the video! I absolutely love that it has a deeper meaning than just breaking up! "WoW" I really liked the video. What an impact it makes on the consequences of alcoholism. I worked in a drug and alcohol center for teens and music was a great tool for opening up their minds. One of the things I like about Daughtry is how all of their videos are realistic and have a great story to tell. Thanks for keeping it real.

Wow...coming from a family of alcoholics and some friends that have gone through it as well...all I can say is WOW. This video hit me and it hit me hard. The end with "Hi, my name is Sarah" and the implied "I'm an alcoholic" and just....the whole thing had an amazing storyline to it and it was WELL WORTH the wait. You guys have outdone yourselves yet again and given us all yet another reason to love you and your music! If not for you guys looking good in that video, I would've sobbed through the whole thing. It really did bring tears to my eyes, call me a dork or whatever, doesn't matter cuz it's the complete and honest truth. I love this video and I thought this song was my favorite before, now I love it 10x more!!!

Also, I still love how I and I'm sure all the Daughtry fans can relate this song to Chris and his journey on Idol til now. Listen to it and line up the emotions with how he felt when he was first kicked off, getting over that and being better off not winning...it's really awesome how the meaning behind a song can be 2 fold like that when a fan listens to it, as opposed to what it was originally meant to be about!

Over You is my favorite song on the album and I am really looking forward to seeing what you guys did with it. I know it is going to be a great video.

I am very excited to see this video!!! However, I am very sad to see the events page getting shorter and shorter I wish they could do more shows. I know that they are probably ready for a break, but they are just so addictive. Everyone wants more!!!!

I am just as excited as everyone about this video!! "Over You" has been my favorite song since the very moment I heard it! Another #1 on its way!!
