I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

Well, why the heck wouldn't you be a DAUGHTRY fan!!?? lol

Ok, I'll be serious now ... I'm a DAUGHTRY fan for the following reasons (I figure dot points are the easiest way to get my point across, it's easier on the eyes-ies too )

- Great songs: the lyrics are deep and meaningful and you can really relate to them no matter what your walk of life. The guitar riffs, drum solos etc are to die for and Chris' voice just seals the deal.
- Performance: I haven't seen them live yet, and I stress yet but from what I saw of Chris on American Idol he was amazing live. Unlike a lot of other bands and artists out there at the moment who rely on the studio techs to make their stuff sound half decent, Daughtry have actualy talent and and don't lip sync at their shows
- Attitude: I love that although they've made the 'big time' they're still really grounded and modest about everything. Chris' family are really important to him and you can see that.

Ok, now some less serious reasons, just a bit of fun really:

- Chris' look - unshaven is soo in right now and the bald shiny head thing really works for him - not many people would be able to pull it off
- The CD booklet, CD and album in general is GREEN! My favourite colour - so that's something in their favour lol
- The DAUGHTRY tatt on his back - very cool *nods*
- Chris was voted off American Idol (yes it's a reason why I like him lol). He didn't win but who wants to win that anyway? The winners are always restricted as to what kind of album they release and they have to rush the release so much the albums almost always turn into dudds - or at least that's how it goes here with Australian Idol ... the CD sells millions of copies but then about a week later people regret ever buying it cos they can't stand to listen to it more than once or twice lol Or at least that's my experience lol

That's all I can think of right now .. but I'll be sure to add to it if something else comes to mind
