I'm a fan (and you should be too) because he is the best thing to rock in a long time! I don't buy CD's that often because usually there are only a couple good songs and the rest is crap, but the Daughtry CD doesn't have one bad song on it; they are all great! It is the only CD that plays in my car. He is first thing I hear when I turn the ignition key and the last thing I hear when I turn it off. I even wait for the end of a song before I take out my key. Plus, I am singing as loud as it is playing! It is so loud when I drive that it drowns out my own voice, thankfully, and I know people stare at me, but I don't care. I smile and sing like no one is watching. I have been a fan since I saw him on AI. He was my favorite at the auditions. Not only do I love his music, I love his voice. Whenever I hear it, I get so excited and pumped up! No other singer has done that to me since Sammy Hagar (that is obviously a long time, so yes I am over 40). I told my kids when he was on AI that he is going to win. Well, luckily he didn't, despite all my voting, or else he would not be making the music he wanted which proves that when one door closes, another opens. I also admire how he loves his wife and kids and how they love and support him. That is when he really won me over as a fan. I am not just a fan of his and the band, but I am also a fan of his family. He would not be able to do the tour he is doing without the love and support of his family so my heart goes out to them. I can't wait to see him live again because he rocked and I hope that he can take time to be with his family soon. To Deanna and family, I want to thank you for sharing him with us!
