Gets Better and Better! This was my third time seeing Chris perform. (Once on the Idol tour and twice with DAUGHTRY). This one was especially fun because I brought two friends who didn't know much about Daughtry. Now they too are fans! How could they not be. You guys rocked as usual. I really enjoyed the performance of All These Lives. I look forward to seeing you again in Maryland. Take care of yourselves!

This was the very first concert I have ever been to, I LOVED it!!! I had so much fun, and seeing Chris was sooo exciting!

What can I say!!! THEY ROCKED!!!!!!!!!! We had such a great time. Chris and the band and everyone envolved was fantastic as usual. I can truly say that these guys are blowing everyone I've seen live out of the water and I've seen some great bands including David Bowie!!! Chris, your voice is nothing short of amazing!!! You sound even better live which is no small feat...Most bands suck live when it comes to vocals, but not you...Your voice is so soulful and pure..Please take care of it. I noticed you seemed to be drinking tea or something warm when you were on stage. Strep throat is going around, please be careful!!! We want you around a long time!!!! I can't wait to see you with Bon Jovi in Philly..I know you will win peoples choice and The AMA'S!! Much love to you and all the people that work very hard to bring us a fantastic show every time we see you!!! Love & God's blessings

The show in Annapolis was so awesome...the best of the three I have been to. One Republic was pretty awesome too. Daughtry, though, just keeps getting better. This show was so unique...Chris and the band are so awesome. Chris even sang "All These Lives" this time!!! I have been waiting to hear that song live and I finally I got the chance. He also added a couple verses of "Walk the Line" in one of his songs...so awesome. I wish I could have met the guys and gotten some more pictures with them but the show still rocked. I am so hooked on Daughtry and can't wait to see them again.

Daughtry gets better with each performance. This was my third Daughtry concert and I must say it was the best. Each performance by Daughtry only gets better. Chris really knows how to get the crowd worked up.

Well, it was definitely quite a surprise to hear about this show. I'm a graduate of the Naval Academy (C/O 2005), and to find out there was a show back at my alma mater with one of my favorite bands was pretty amazing. To make things even better, I had just returned from my second trip to the Persian Gulf in the last year on Wednesday and I was still able to get tickets the night before. It was disappointing to find out so late in the game, but it was a great welcome home gift for me. I just wish I would've had more notice to try and get floor tickets and VIP access, so I could tell the band what an inspiration their music was for me (I listened to Home at least once a day for the last two months on my way home to my family). Getting to see family, friends, my alma mater, and Daughtry all in the same weekend was sweet!

As far as the concert itself goes, One Republic was a good band, just not really my flavor of music. Daughtry sounded much better live than recorded, even with Chris warming up on the fly at the start of the show (it looked like he had a really sore throat!). By the 3rd song or so, he warmed up and the band brought the house down. I know it had to be hard to sustain the energy the band showed. Alumni Hall is a tough place to play because of the seating arrangements (no real pit/ floor section) along with the more conservative Midshipmen up front. Trust me though, I've rarely heard Alumni Hall so energized, even at many Navy Football pep rallies. Great job guys, and I hope I can catch the tour with Bon Jovi!

After missing the show at the 9:30 Club and Merriweather Post (traffic), last night I finally got to see Daughtry. It started out a little rough. An accident on 495 held us up for a while, but finally we were on our way. We get to the Naval Academy, and I was told prior that the Hall would be off base and no problem getting in and parking in the lot....well that wasn't what happened when I got there. We had to find parking on the street and walk in through GATE 1..then walk 10-15, and it was a little nipply to the Hall. At that moment I thought I would miss the beginning of the show. Well I was lucky this time and had the best time. Finally got to see Daughtry and it was incredible. Not much of a One Republic fan (all the songs sounded the same)...but over all it was awesome. Hope you come back to MD soon...can't get enough. Thanks for a great show. ROCK ON!!!!

Wow...I am sorry you had that experience. I would have been flippin out if I thought for 1 second I wasn't gonna get to meet the man and the band after I won VIP!

Glad you got the chance to meet him! You lucky somebody!!! Smiling

Chris if you get to read this I want you to know that you are the greatest! The concert was really great last night. I took a friend and 2 little girls ( well not so little anymore, they are 12 and 14) to there very first concert and they had an absolute ball! I was there nanny 8 years ago and I still keep in touch with them so it was such a delight to see them enjoy themselves the way they did. The only thing that would have made the night even better would have been meeting you and getting some good pictures. I got to see you in July when you were here with Nickelback and you were awsome then and even better last night!
I know the next time you come to Maryland I am going to do my best to get backstage passes so that I can meet you. Well good luck with the rest of your touring and I hope that you come back to Maryland soon! Lots of Love! LMURPHY

:)

The concert in Annapolis was AMAZING! I didn't have the front row seats (seeing as how they were reserved) and I didn't win backstage, but I will tell you this much, I had the best time of my life! Daughtrys shows get better every time. I can't wait until I get to see them again. Chris, if you're reading this, PLEASE COME TO WEST VIRGINIA! I wrote in my blog about why I want you to so bad, but it would really mean the world to me. You guys rock and I can't wait to see you again<3 You complete me<3 Smiling

Hi Everyone!

Thanks again to everyone who offered their congratulatory remarks! A few people recognized me at the show, and I really can't remember all of you, so add me or PM me if you did.

Well, let's just say that the evening did not go as I imagined it. To start things off, I never heard back from anyone after Thursday, so I decided to just go up there early to see if the tickets were at will-call. I got lost and drove around the Navy campus for like half an hour before someone told me to go to some far parking lot and wait for the shuttle.

When I finally got to the arena, no one seemed to know anything about the meet and greet or the contest. There were no tickets under my name. It was made very clear that the band didn't have anything to do with the mix-up and that those affiliated with the band were expecting a VIP winner to be there. Apparently it had something to do with it being a military location and security issues.

Long story short, some miracle happened and I was able to get a ticket and get back to get a signed picture. Unfortunately I was not able to take any pictures with the guys; maybe next time!

The guys were really nice and I was absolutely thrilled to meet them, if only for a short time.

Of course, they totally rocked the show! They opened with "Crashed" and hit pretty much the whole cd. Chris did a couple of songs alone on the acoustic. Highlights for me were "Gone" and "What About Now?"

I know this has been extra-long, so I'll wrap it up, but PM me if you want more details. I met some really nice people (you know who you are!), and I had a great time sharing this experience with you all.

To Daughtry: Thank you so much for your kindness and sharing your time with me. Words can only insufficiently describe my excitement at having the opportunity to meet you guys. Hope to see you again!

My husband and I really enjoyed the show last night. The only thing was that the concert seemed rushed. Daughtry rocked the house though.

If you read the little sli of paper they send you with the tickets it says that there is no photography or videography for Brigade Concerts (which this is not). So I would take them. If there was a strict rule they would have put it ont he tickets or included it in the tickets.

Does anyone have an actual phone number to reach someone in person. All the numbers I've tried are all automated and not helpful. Thanks.

I am so excited for the show tonight! Daughtry is going to rock Annapolis! Anyone know of an after party? Wouldn't it be fun to party with the guys at one of the cool bars in Annapolis. LOL. I'm sure they have to get on the road to their next venue. Anyway, it's going to be a blast.

Seems like there is conflicting info on the cameras. I hope we can bring them. Anyone know the real story?

Congrats Sapphire 903! You are going to have the best time.

When I called the ticket office at the Naval Academy, I was told no cameras and that bags would be checked. I am not sure whether to chance it or not since this is a military base. What do you all think?

for the info on the cameras! I wasn't sure if I wanted to take mine or not.

Can't wait for tonight! Hope everyone has a good time!!! See ya there!

Tonight is the Night for Daughtry to Shine.
The alumni Hall is 675 Decatur Road. You do not need to get into the Academy so there are no security restrictions on getting in. Cameras are allowed according to the Box Office at the Academy just not prefessional ones. Hope this helps.

Okay ladies todays the big day, hope to see everyone their! It's gonna be great, I just can't wait. The day is going to go by soooo slooowwwww because my boys just had to get up early this morning so now i'll just be sitting here watching the clock making the time go by even slower!
