sorry that i've been MIA-ing, but i've been really busy with my final-year project since Daughtry's showcase last year, and now i've just graduated, and working part-time at my internship company.

anyways, i'm sure u all would know by now,

so let's *SCREAM* together.

DAUGHTRY is coming back to SINGAPORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

woahooooo! i still can't believe it, that it's so soon! been thinking they'd take a few years to come back.

but still, it's not a huge concert again i suppose. acoustic rock again i guess.

but hey at least they WILL BE here AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

Hi all!!

Hope everyone's doing great! I'm sure u guys must be as excited about the AMAs as I am! I have a suggestion for the S'pore fans - what say we all meet up and watch the award show together? It would be fun to have other crazy fans around and we can have out first official daughtry fan club meeting then! Any takers? I;m prepared to take sick leave if i have to since it will probably be televised on Mon morning here cos of the time diff. Let me know ya?

I've got the MB20 album and loving it! Though it's only got 6 new songs, it's still great to hear them - and loving hearing the best of the rest all together here, even if I have got them all.
Doesn't beat the Daughtry album, but one of the best around anyway!

Lukcy that you get the concerts. NZ being a bit more out of the way - and with a small population, sometimes it's considered not worth while. Hinder even cancelled recently due to poor sales.

Hope Daughtry will come and tour the country with their small gigs instead of hoping to sell out at one big one at the end of the country.! That's what I HOPE anyway.

Yeah been noticing that too! We are lucky that spore is usually the transit point of choice for most travellers going between the US and Australia, Melbourne etc.... since they need to transit here makes sense to make the most of the trip and have a concert too! Still havent had a chance to get my hands on the MB20 album yet; hopefully over the weekend! Have a good weekend all!!

Yeh, I know. When Chris said they'd be appearing with MB20 and then may be going back to Aussie in Jan, I thought, what a fantasic opportunity it would be - for them to travel and perform overseas together! Would have to think very seriously about getting over there myself for that one, if it ever happened.

Noticed that we seem to be getting most of the same acts that visit you and Australia lately! Living in hope that next time Daughtry combine's the countries the same! Guess you will be too.

Gosh that would be absolutely heavenly! On one of the video blogs Chris said they were either going to open for MB20 or doing a concert with them a while back... i remember thinking that that wld probably be the best concert i could ever attend in this lifetime! ha ha... i love em both!

Yes, 'Little Wonders' is a lovely song.
Played heaps on one radio station here, been in their top 10 air-play charts for months now - along with 'Home'. Top 20 played every Saturday. They both got to number 1 and now tend to swap places around the 4-5-6 mark! Love having my 2 favourite singers up there together. But 'Home' definately far surpasses 'Litte Wonders' as a great song!

Glad you like MB20/Rob too! Rob toured Australia last year, but not here to NZ Wouldn't it be amazing if they and Daughtry toured this part of the world together!

Thinking of getting Matchbox 20's this week, just released and number 2 in NZ!

Just wanted to give a shout out to everyone... it's been a while since the last post on the spore forum! Hope everyone is doing great! just bought a copy of Absent Element's cd... can't wait for it to arrive! Heard some of the songs online... they're pretty damn good... chris sounds as hot as ever!! I havent heard 'breakdown' from that album though... looking forward to hearing it!

Hi all,

Hope everyone had a great weekend!! Mine was filled with running around trying to get the new place organised. Tiring since it's the fasting month, but a lot of fun. Emme, yeah it was nice of him to reply our emails personally explaining himself, and like you say, I'm sure he never meant for it to be offensive and all that.In fact since then I've received three other emails from him. :-) They keep saying they'll be back probably end of the year... i really hope it's true!!!!!

I hate packing and umpacking when moving house or travelling. It's is so draining! Wow Jassie, good for you that you now have your own house So how's it at your new place? Anyway it's wonderful that Joey replied to you and Dafne personally to explain about the 'fools' comment. i guess he wasn't aware that the remark might offend people. He didn't mean any harm or offence. It's nice of him to get back to you and ezplain what he really meant when he made that remark. Anyway, hope they will come back again later this year, if their scheldule permits, that is.

Yeah, it was really sweet of him to reply re the video blog. In fact Daphne (who's also on this forum) wrote to him also and got a reply as well! Am glad it got sorted out too. I think he genuinely thought nothing of it at the time...

According to him they probably will be back later this year so I am keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Daphne - ha ha, no worries about the spelling error... Yeah true, I am dreading the packing. Esp when u have a two year old prancing around the house, it's kinda hard to pack when she keeps pulling out every other thing u put into the boxes! Sigh... am doing it in batches since we still have some work to do for the house before moving in.

Was going thru the videos i took at the showcase... damn, Chris is just too adorable... ha ha... loved how he worked the crowd. Am missing the video blogs too!! Wonder when they start working on the new album?

good morning all you daughtry loving people . hope u guys are doing well. congrats jessie. nice to know ur finally getting ur own place and especially a place where your comfortable with. i remembered staying with this family i mean they were a nice family but their kids were soooo noisyyyyy and their bathroom was... :| i better not go in with the details and i had to wake up at 5 just to go for a 9 am class because the daughter and mum would take ages to bathe :| . now im at a place where i have nooooooo disturbance and well i guess i can call it a place of my own now. so i probably do know how you're feeling. but the next step is the irritating part... PACKING. :| trust me especially when u have a tv and stuff like that

Hope you're all doing great... Just got the keys to my new house today, so am really excited!!! Should be able to move in by the end of the year... sigh, can't wait, will finally have my own place!!!
Re the video blog, i'm sure he didnt mean anything by the comment... like he said it's just street slang and i am very sure he didnt mean it in that way. Would have been nice if he did use some other word though, ha ha... i remember feeling a little shocked when i first heard it but i know it wasnt meant to be taken in that light. No worries, it's all good!

I think Joey will probably reply to your message; if he does, do share!!

Just to update the rest, I sent Joey a msg telling him i thought the video blog was hilarious but was a little offended abt what he said abt 'leaving the fools (meaning us s'pore fans) wanting more', and that i hoped that wasnt what he thought of his fans i spore. He replied the next day saying it was just a slang and could also mean homeboy etc etc and that he has nothing but love for spore and that he wasnt like that. Ha ha...thought it was nice of him to reply...

hi jassie.. i agree with you i felt really offended seeing how much i love the band.. i sorta messaged joey on myspace and told him how bad i felt... but i honestly dont think they mean it well i dont think chris is that kinda person. Im feeling really sad about it but i still have the most upmost respect for the guys cause i love their music to death and i am so in love with chris' voiceee. eeek. how are all of u guys doing?

anyway, i'm sure u guys have seen the video for "Over You" already.
i must say i'm totally in love with the video!

this song has always been my top favourite, and everytime i listen to it i'd relate it to a breakup..

but this video brought a whole new meaning to the song, and puts across a really good msg about alcohol abuse. i'm impressed, and i can't believe i can actually cry when i watch the video, perhaps because of how Chris emotes as he sings, and feeling the emotions in his powerful vocals. it's simply amazing.

Good to see that the Singapore Forum is still alive and well... I agree; to be honest before the band came I didn't really notice the other members of the band much cos Chris was the one who got me listening to the band. But after seeing them in person and reading their intervies, their individual personalities really come thru and you can really see how they complement one another. It's a good synergy for sure!

One week has passed and I feel so bored compared to how I was last week, filled with lots of excitement and going bonkers for the band, queing since 3.30 (argh, I seem so disloyal to the band for only devoting 4 hours of time to wait in line).

They should have stayed LONGER...

Jassie, did you see the videoblog of Chris and Brian with the aussie accent? Awesome! It's all part of being a fan, going crazy and screaming for your idols, chasing them... you do it when you can, while they're here!

I was the one that was being crazy, screaming at Chris and Joey when they were at the checkin counter and security had to yell at me. Hyper and overreacting, but hey, they're my favorite band!

I know it's all in jest and stuff, but now i do feel a little foolish the way were going crazy at the airport when they left. Sob sob...
