What a great show! Chris sounded just like he does on the CD, and the band was perfectly dead on. Alot of times you go see a show and it's like the band is just there, going through the motions becuase they have to. Not DAUGHTRY, You can tell they love doing it and most of all they love doing for their fans. The only thing I was upset about ,is my husband got lost and somehow ended up back stage where he ran right into Chris and got to meet him. OH how I wished it would have me! Maybe next time? I can only dream.

I have been to a few shows before but this was a first in front row, wow how awesome.
It took me a while to write this review because the experience was actually bittersweet for me. First let me say that everything Daughtry was totally sweet (with the exception of their opening band choice) Chris' vocals were better than ever, the band sounded amazing, the light, the special effects, everything was great. The bitter part had to due with some out of control people who seemed to have had a little to much at the pub across the street before the show,unfortunately for me they were seated right next to me.
But anyway I got Chris guitar pick that he played with then threw out, and then Chris threw out his 3/4 of the way finished poland spring water bottle right after he took his last chug. It hit the lights right above my head and fell to the floor on my foot. Most of the water was still inside (Yum)
And lastly Chris' sweaty rag, I got that too. Wonderful night with lots of souviners.
One regret that I have is spending too much time with my face behind my camera. I won't make that mistake again.

WOW...Chris and his band has done it again. I was stunned by how great the concert was! And I got to meet him too! The only disappointment was that he ended the show with "Shine." I wish he could've ended it with "Over You" or "Home."

You guys were SO awesome! One of my best concert experiences ever! Getting a hug from Chris, seeing Joey's underwear and talking "tats" with Josh P...Come back again and I will be the first in line for a ticket!!!

ALBANY -- The wild success of Chris Daughtry should have gone to his shaven head by now. But Thursday night at The Palace, there were very few tricks and minimal ego during the music. Instead we got earnest rock music. There were a lot of flashing lights, some self-promotion for his record, and of course several "What's up Albany!" But during the tunes Daughtry and his four guys played straight-up, barreling through tune after tune with barely 30 seconds...

Daughtry...one addiction that I am proud of!

I wrote to the TU and asked why there wasn't a review for this concert,,the reply was" we reviewed them in March and in July with Nickelbach so he felt 3 reviews in 6mo wasn't neccesary...BooTU,This was the best concert and it deserved a review..It looks real sucky for our area too,they came back b/c so many people missed the SPAC concert b/c of traffic...
Typical for the TU,all politics and bad news nothing good gets reported

After traveling 6 hours to NYC to see Daughtry on the early show, I was all ready for this concert. I arrived at the Palace around 4. I met Rachel and her 2 daughters by the busses. (they had been there since 1) Dedicated girls! Anyway, I saw Riley (Rach's Daughter) get JP's autograph and picture. It was adorable. The look on her face was PRICELESS. After awhile everyone else started coming. I met Heather, Lu, Jill, Toni and Patti by the buses then we walked over to McGeary's where we met Kris, Steph, Stephs mom and TONS of other people!! We hung out there for awhile and drank (as you can see in my pics) We had tons of fun.

Finally we decided to walk over to the Palace. We get inside and go some drinks and waited in the lobby, nobody really wanted to watch the opening band (I heard they were horrible anyway). Then it was DAUGHTRY TIME. I went to my front row seat and talked to Louis who had met Chris before the show, lucky women!! Then the lights went down and it was DAUGHTRY! AWESOME is all I can say. They were great and had tons of energy. I didnt want it to end.

After the show, I ran for the buses. A mad dash is an understatement. I got up right againt the barricade. I heard through one of the security guards radios that they were bringing Chris out after JP. I thought they were kidding. Well, as soon as I heard that JP comes walking over to us. He signs my picture. He was over by us fir awhile then walks over to the other side. Then Chris comes walking out. I was in shock. He keeps walking and he is walking right for me. I kept calm which was VERY difficult. He walked right to me and grabbed by photo. I felt special cause I got the first autograph. The security guards said no pics, so I didnt press my luck to ask for one. Though I should have. Anyway, he was a sweetheart, I said Thank you soo much and he said No problem. He was all smiles. Once Chris was done signing on our side. Everyone left, Good for me I had Brian and JP pretty much to myself. Brian came over and signed my pic and I took a pic with him, He was super sweet. Then my JOEY came out. I waved at him and he came over and gave me a big bear hug. He took a pic with me and signed my Joey shirt and gave me a huge hug and kiss. We talked for a little while then a guy came over and said he was needed. He apologized for leaving and then left. God, I love him!!!

Overall, I had an amazing time. After being on my Daughtry high I needed more. I went home and bought tickets for the Boston Show!! Cant wait for that.

In my humble opinion, this is the best DAUGHTRY show I have ever attended. My last show was at the Red Rock-- well AOL should've been HERE!! Chris's voice was spot-on, the guys hammered through tune after tune, and the fans felt the love!!

We appreciate so much the music and all the hard work that goes into this tour (Chris is all about perfection). We are all so happy to be along for this ride, and I felt that CHRIS GETS IT! He knows we are invested in them, and when he knelt down and looked out and took in his audience, it was the best feeling ever.....such an emotional experience!

I was so excited to meet the friends I've made on DO -- thanks JP for my first picture -- and, most importantly, thanks Chris for taking the time to chat with this huge fan!!!!

The sound was perfect...best yet!
Even Carter noted how awesome the venue was both in sound and staff!

We do need to get Joey a spot light...he is in the dark the entire time!

Anyways...met all the guys after and they are so "real" and just really appreciated the fans. Brian commented that it was better than what he was doing last year at this time...sounded like he said he was at a print shop!
Steely talked about VMA's.

It was just plain awesome. the crowd was soo into it (but not the opening band..felt bad...but they were horrible)
Chris rocked the house....threw out 3 or 4 bottles of water....one bouced off hte stage lights or something!
Joey tossed a drum stick all hte way upstairs....sure they were surprised!
this was my husbands first daughtry show and he really thought they were good (not sure he will even say they are great!)..but he has been singing the songs around the house.
Just amazes me how many friends that i have met thru this site all because of this group. We all love and mostly Respect what they do. That mutual respect brought us all together and we all have a ton of friends for it....
Well, thats it in a NUTSHELL.(for FIre and cat!)
Off to another show tonight...yes, we are addicted....But we are getting what we asked for ...more daughtry!

The show was absolutely amazing. I traveled 4 hrs to get there and it was worth every minute!

My daughters and I arrived earlier on in the day and spent the afternoon ....we got there prior to the bus!!!(brokedown at some point) Anyway, they met JP, got guitar picks from the road crew, and had the time of their lives. Later, after I got them safely to the sitters, my husband and I came back down and we went to McGeary's to meet up with some amazingly special people that DAUGHTRY has brought into my life, and all enjoyed getting caught up and ready to see the boys!

The concert was beyond anything that I had expected...and this was concert number 5 for us. The audience was SO amazing and I think really showed the love...the guys felt it and I am sure that it was the pickme up (whether they needed it or not) after their long long prior 3 or 4 days!!!

Steph beat me to mentioning the moment with Chris on the box at the end of the concert....it brought tears to my eyes...tears of absolute joy for their success, tears of extreme happiness that dreams come true, and tears that I can be a part of something as amazing as this experience has been !! Daughtry, truly, is a one of a kind band and I am absolutely grateful for everything they do!!! That includes all the behind the scenes people that make everything come together.....it is truly a well oiled machine.

You guys are amazing.... I wasn't able to stay afterwards...had to teach 2nd graders today!!!! AM so sad at the opportunity to complete my daughter's autograph collection for her shirt, but absolutely grateful for the amazing night.

You guys completely , utterly, and overwhelmingly blow us all away.......

LAST NIGHT ANOTHER GREAT DAUGHTRY CONCERT. I LOVED IT DAUTGHTRY ROCKED THE PALACE THEARTER. IT WAS GREAT I GOT TO MEET UP WITH MY FRIEND AMBER WHO I MET AT ANOTHER DAUGHTRY CONCERT IN TROY. THIS TIME SHE HAD HER DAUGHTER MADSION WITH HER. SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL. SO IT WAS GOOD TO CATCH UP WITH HER. THEN I ALSO SEEN OTHER PEOPLE I HAVE MEANT AT OTHER SHOWS. GOTTA LOVE MEETING THOSE DAUGHTRY FANS. SO I GOT TO MEET CHRIS DAUGHTRY THIS TIME AND IT WAS GREAT. I WAS EVEN ABLE TO GET A PICTURE WITH HIM. GOD I FELT LIKE A TEENAGER AGAIN. I ALSO GOT A PICTURE WITH JOEY. THEN I WAS THERE WITH MY BEST FRIEND MINDY AND WE WENT IN TO WATCH THE CONCERT. WHICH WAS GREAT I LOVED IT WHEN CHRIS WAS GETTING EVERYONE WET WITH THE WATER . I LOVE HOW HE GETS THE FANS INVOLVED. GOTTA LOVE DAUGHTRY. I ALSO LOVE IT WHEN CHRIS WANTS ALL OF US TO SING PARTS OF HIS SONGS THAT'S FUN. WELL AFTER THE CONCERT WE WENT OUT BY THE BUSES. I just want to say way to go you guys!!!!! You just Rock everytime I go to one of your shows 4th time going and it keeps getting better and better you all are just amazing!!!!! and as for the show last night was great.
When I got to the Palace I meet a some familiar faces from other show that was great. Liked seeing Amber whom traveled hours to get there was great to see you again and your daughter she is a cutey well when we got there we did some chatting then my bestfriend and I went to the side of the building were the buses were Joey was out by the tractor trailer chating so we said hi and got pictures with him. not much later Chris came out and he came over to the gate and chated with us I finally got a picture with him it was so great I can't believe it.
We later went in got are seats to watched the show got some nice shots of the show and videos I love how they perform dont matter how many times I have seen them it gets better after the show my bestfriend , Amber and her daughter and myself went back out side to meet the guys again got autographs and more pictures the guys are just so nice and friendly and I would go see them again anywhere the only problem I had was after the show some rude people outside not knowing the band and asking like JP hey you go get Daughtry and you know what, Daughtry is a Band not just Chris which he is great but there Is a whole band there Joey Josh Jp Brian and Daughtry I and Love them all you all rock keep up the good work But I am just letting you know that they ALL are one heck of AmaZING GUYS!!!!!!!!!!

I took my boys to their 1st concert last night, (9 & 11). We all love Daughtry and listen to him constantly. They each have the CD on their I-Pods, its the only CD in my van, and I jog to the whole CD every morning. We didn't like the opening act either, so we used that time to go buy our hoodies and t-shirts. When Chris came on to sing the place just came alive. We loved the show, just wish that it had started on time, so we could have watched the whole show. Being that it was a school night we had to leave while you were singing "HOME" because we had to drive an hour to get home. It would have been nice if it was just you guys singing at 8:00. We loved singing ALL the words to ALL the songs with you. We loved the interaction with the crowd, it made me feel as though I was part of the show and right on stage with you even though we were 3rd row from the top. Can't wait to see another one of your shows. Could you please come to the GLENS FALLS CIVIC CENTER in New York to sing? It is an hour north of Albany, we would love to have you up here to sing for all of the North Country. I spread the word of your music to anyone who will listen me. Hope that you put out another CD soon. Can't wait to hear more of the music that you have written, if its anything like the 1st it will fly out of the stores. I love this one so much I can't pick a favorite song I love them all, Hope you come back north soon.

This is one of the best concerts ive been to. Loved the part when he threw the water. We could totally see him

The evening started out great because I was able to meet so many other DO fans...we had a blast catching up in person! This was my 3rd show, and each time has been a different experience & it gets better & better. They are growing so much, making each song so important, working together. They have so much energy! Chris has an unbelievable presence, his voice is so strong...and his interaction with the crowd makes you feel like an integral part of the show. One of the best moments for me, besides the whole show!, was when the show was ending, the band was still playing but the lyrics had ended, and Chris stood up on the black box in front of the stage, kneeled down a bit and just looked out at everyone, put his hands together and sort of took it all in....it made you feel like he appreciated everyone coming out to support them, made you feel like he was having the time of his life & we are all helping him do it!! Keep it up guys, it was an amazing performance.

After the show we were able to find room at the front of the barricade & had the awesome opportunity of meeting all of the guys. It seemed surreal, as I didnt expect any of it...it just sort of happened! Since they have been so busy the past few days I didnt expect them to have time or energy for any type of interaction...but they did & it was unbelievable. They all signed autographs, JP & Joey, Steely, Brian took some pictures with us...
Chris was very accomodating and gracious, shook hands ,shared a smile & a wink....it was great to tell him in person," Thank you for making this music & touring, we always knew you'd move on to huge things after AI, we're so happy for you!"
(although I think all I could get out was Thank you so much, you're the best : )

And a shout out to CARTER who keeps everyone in line, the guys & the fans! Thanks for being so nice, sharing some funny stories & for the info on the cool T-shirts & jeans...

Thank you Daughtry for taking the time to share your success with us!! Can't wait to see you again at Mixfest 98 in Boston, I feel lucky to have one more oppotunity to share in the ride with you guys! Travel safe overseas and always, and have a blast!!

Imagine our disappointment when Sunstreak opened up the show. Their music was good, but their lead singer was "absolutely horrendous" (said in my mock Simon Cowell accent).
Then Daughtry and the guys hit the stage and we were immediately blown away. He involved the audience from the beginning and we all felt part of the show.
The best part was that after the show, the band members and eventually Chris came out of the side door to meet and greet the fans. My friend and I had them sign our tickets. I got to hug the drummer and even touched Chris's hand....I feel like a teen again!! AWESOME!
I think it's great that you guys appreciate your fans enough to say hello to us after the show! The main reason why Daughtry is now my favorite band!!

I was at the concert last night and you guys rocked!!! I have never felt so a part of a concert in my life. You guys do it all for us and I cannot thank you enough. I still cannot believe i was even there but I am glad I was. Chris, your voice is so incredible that words cannot describe and the band is amazing too the way they play and everything. You made my year last night. Thank you so much for being the guys that you are and for making real music and being real people. DAUGHTRY ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't get to see you guys @ Revolution Hall, or SPAC (with Nickelback, you both being my favorite bands) but I think it was SO MUCH better seeing you at the Palace last night because it was a much more pesonal setting. You guys were simply incredible!!! Unfortunately, I wasn't as lucky as the guy below me who met Chris. But I can't wait til you come back to the Albany Area!!! Good luck with the rest of your tour!!!

Great show last night!!! Drove 250 miles to see the show and it was worth it. Sound was fantastic. Never been to the Palace Theater before and while trying to find the smoking area walked through the wrong door and ended up behind the stage!!!! Needless to say that the roadies were very surprised. Not as surprised as I was when I ran into Chris hanging out getting ready for the show as I was being escorted back to the seating area. Chris took the time to say hi and that was very generous of him. Needless to say that my wife who is a die hard Daughtry fan about killed me because she missed out on meeting him. Received one of Chris's guitar picks as a keepsake. Nice guy, great voice, a must see!!!

Maybe there's no VIP for this show because he is doing four shows in two days time! He is travelling from NYC for this show - I'm just glad he's willing to do so many appearances and didn't cancel Albany! Let's give the guys a break! I'm just as disappointed as anyone, but I can understand it given his schedule!
