I'm a fan (and you should be too) because Daughtry is awesome!!!! Daughtry's music is 'different' from a lot of the music that you hear today. When you hear their music on he radio, you don't hear a beep or a pause anywhere in the song because there was an explict word or words that needs to be cut out. Daughtry gets their message across to the audience without all the foul language Daughtry is a great role model for kids. People of all ages listen to Daughtry's music. I think their fans range age wise from about 5-75! People of all ages buy tickets and attend the shows, you don't see that a lot today. If you are reading this and you don't own Daughtry's self titled cd, (I doubt that there are a lot of people who don't have this AWESOME cd) but anyway I HIGHLY recommend that you go get Daughtry's self titled Debut album as soon as possible. Daughtry's album is great! Over 1 million copies of the album were sold just six months after it was released! That is more than any other person that has been on American Idol(including the winners)! Chris Daughtry is an awesome artist!! I was a fan of Chris' the first time I saw his audition on an episode of American Idol in season 5! When I was watching American Idol in season 5, I really wanted Chris to be the idol. But now, I am sooooo glad that he was voted off when he was because Chris got to make the album/band that HE wanted to make. Sometimes winning the American Idol title isn't always best. I think Chris has proved that!
Chris and the rest of the guys in Daughtry make sure to acknowledge their fans(even the ones at the very back of the venue) at their shows. That's awesome!!!! They put on great shows.
The show that I saw seemed like it was really short but it was great!! They are so nice to the fans. The guys in Daughtry treat their fans like they are family. Daughtry really appreciates their fans and it shows during the concerts!!!!
Daughtry DESERVES to be at the top of the Charts and to be a Grammy Award winning band!! Hopefully they win a Grammy soon!
One day, I hope that the band will go down in History as one of the best rock bands of all time
