Why I am a fan

I am a fan (and you should be too), because...
(Newly revised Febuary 20, 2008)
Daughtry has reminded me how important music is to me in my life. I definitely appreciate and listen to music (especially rock) much more since I have become a fan. Listening to them play lifts my spirits on my worse days. I think the best thing about the album for me is if I don't listen to it for a couple of days and play it again it still sounds fresh. I may hear it in a new way or have a new favorite song that day. Chris's voice is inspirational and empowering. My favorite thing about watching him sing is that he sings with such passion and energy. When I listen to Chris sing I feel like I can do anything, succeed and be happy. His passionate voice has such energy and power behind it. His voice and his ability to write lyrics is truly a gift to be shared with the world. I think Chris has a lot to say with his music. I look forward to see what he is going to come out with next.
Everybody should be a Daughtry fan because they are the hottest new band around. Their music covers both the pop and rock spectrum of music. They have an amazing diverse fan base with ages ranging from very young children to more mature adults from North America to different parts of the world. Some of these fans I can say have become my friends. I plan on listening to Chris sing for many years to come. I know he will become a classic artist and Daughtry will be a classic band. The band members Josh, J.P., Brian and Joey are the perfect match for Chris. They look like they are having so much fun playing together and appear to strive to stay "normal" despite their recent success. I love how the members show their love, affection and respect for their families. Speaking of families, you can definitely bring your kids along to a show because its just good "clean" music. Joey Barnes' voice compliments Chris's voice perfectly. Joey adds so much personality to the band. He is a truly talented caring artist.
It has been a pleasure to support the band Daughtry and watch it evolve and grow from the very beginning, before anybody knew who they were, before their first album was released, before they had a tour bus and before they had a song on the radio. Now I love to check out and listen to new bands and bands in my local area. Thanks to Daughtry I am loving rock all over again.
