I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...oh my gosh i love chris daughtry with a passion! its not just because of his fine looks, but because of his amazing talent God has given this man! i would give anything in the world to meet him! he is a great role model for anyone He never gave up on persuing his dream to become a rockstar. even though he did not win the competition on american idol, it is so great that he kept going and finally reached his goal. I also love the fact that he's so down to earth and he cares so much about his fans. I look up to Chris and i hope he keeps making his dreams come true (and hopefully another album)!!!!!
[[American Idol season 5 was the BEST SEASON EVER because CHRIS DAUGHTRY was on it! when he sang every tuesday night, it would just make my week! i would literally get out of swim practice at 6:45 (15 minutes early) every tuesday night! haha i wouldnt explain to my coach the real reason why i needed to get out early, but i had a feeling he knew because the next day i would always talk about how well Chris did last night! everytime i heard his voice on the tv i would get chills! i still do when i hear him on my ipod, radio, or live in concert. BUt unfourtanely, on wednesday May 10th, 2006, the music died. When Ryan said "Chris",...i was relieved because i thought he was safe. but then he finished.."your journey ends tonight" i burst into tears! no joke! i was soo sad that he left beacuse he really made that show! i didnt watch the rest of the season after that, nor did i continue to leave swim practice early.]]
[[IN a way i was a little excited about him leaving the show because i knew that he could move on and make his own way to the music buisnessand maybe even become a bigger star. I was just counting down the days until he put out an album! When i woke up Christmas morning..i just could not wait until i saw what was under the tree because all i literally asked for for Christmas was a hot pink nano, and the daughtry cd! haha i remember i got a lot of great things for christmas and i was soo excited but then i realized i didnt get my daughtry cd! it was not under the tree with all of other gifts? did they forget? but i just went up to my room with my other gifts..and then at the very last minute my mom came into my room and pulled out one last gift....low and behold it was the DAUGHTRY album!!!!! i about screamed for 10 minutes?! haha it was the best Christmas ever!]]
[[OMG when daughtry came to the memphis in may music fest i was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited! when i heard on the Q107.5 that he was coming i screamed for about an hour! haha it was probably 5 weeks before the concert and i was already planning what i was going to wear, who i was going with, and everything! i was counting down the dayS! when we got there it was so crowded and raining none of the less but i was jumping up and down counting down the hours to when daughtry was coming on! i bought a daughtry tshirt and i wear it about once every week! haha i love that shirt! then me my brother and his friends pushed our way through the crowd and waited for about 45 minutes in the crowd below the stage. I remember i would get so excited when a person would walk on stage just to like fix somethin because i would think that everytime someone came on i thought it was him! haha..(it was my first concert and i was just estatic)! Then he finally came on!! i screamed, jumped, and sang every word to his songs! at the last song i got on my brother's friend's shoulders and we were jumping so high it was AMAZING!! it was the best night of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]]
