So, at first, I was totally depressed that they changed the VIP from a meet and greet to a signed poster, but....my husband bought me tickets, so my sister and I ended up going after all and it was a 10 hour drive! It was totally worth it though. Okay, so, we got there around 3pm and drove to the colliseum just to make sure we knew where we needed to be for the concert. well, we ended up taking a wrong turn in the colliseum parking lot and found ourselves pulling up right next to chris' bus! i was so excited, but of course, i quickly realized i was in sweat pants, so we kept driving. we came back later on; about 7pm and had a plan in mind: we were going to try to sneak around the side of the building to see if we could meet him. well, we started to walk around the side of the building where his bus had been parked earlier that day. we say some roadies standing around and thought for sure they would tell us to leave, but they were real nice. they were just smoking cigarettes and talking to us. finally, i asked them if they had the power to try to get chris to come out. of course, they said no, but did tell me he was only standing just around the corner! i totally thought they were kidding, but hey, i will take my chances to meet chris. my sister and i kept walking around the corner. we saw some security guards and the tour bus. all of a sudden, there he was! standing about ten feet in front of us was chris talking on his cell phone! my body felt frozen, but i knew this could be my chance, so we kept walking towards him. well, we got about 3 feet away from him when a body guard came rushing over to us telling us we weren't allowed to be back there. i was so uspet! i begged and pleaded to just get a picture with him, but the guard persistantly said no! chris was standing pretty close, so i know he prob. could hear our conversation, however, he was talking to someone on his cell phone. well, i finally gave up and we started walking away. i was so heart broken. i couldn't believe i was that close and couldn't meet him! well, we got a few feet away when we heard someone yelling, "Girls! Hey, Girls!" We looked back and Chris Daughtry himself was waving for us to come back! I couldn't believe it. He said, "Its okay. You can come back here." I was so thrilled. we came back and stood next to the security guard. chris told us to hold on while he finished his conversation on the cell phone. we stood next to chris talking to the security guard for about 5 minutes. Chris got off the phone, shook our hands, and let us take pictures with him! Isn't that so sweet? Seriously! He was on the phone and so could've just ignored us, but he didn't! He got off the phone and told us we could come back to meet him!!! I was sooooo thrilled. this was so much better than being at a controlled meet and greet. i felt like i had the ultimate vip experience. we were standing by his bus and it was just chris, the security guard, my sister,and me! i posted the pics. i'm so happy that i got my poster, but so damn thrilled i finally got to meet this man, so don't give up on meeting the band: some day your dream will come true just like mine did!!!

When my little boy was learning to talk, he was singing along to DAUGHTRY! I grew you a fan!

they boys are finally coming to my turf, after I've been goin to them for so long... life is good!

Chris was awesome on Idol! I love that he didn't go with Fuel, he is making it his own way!!

Full court press? Foul shot? Home team? Who cares?!?! Coliseums are for DAUGHTRY rock shows baby!

There are only two things in life that would complete me. That's a combination of the Crimson Tide and Daughtry.
