Thought I was the ONLY crazy 1 ta think the.... ONLY reason ta stay up on New Years Eve last year was ta see DAUGHTRY!!! :} AWESOME!!!! The only words I can say!!

I only caught glimpses of it as I went past the TV, but caught up with the videos a little later on. Great job guys. Loved the "fighting over the clothes" comment Joey! 2007- the year of DAUGHTRY!

OMG!!! I was screaming when I heard Chris sing from the other room. I heard him from my kitchen when I was making food. I came running in with brownie mix on my hand and I was singing along. That was the best New Year's I ever had even though I wasn't there live at Times Square- even though my dad said we were going to go but he fell asleep!!!!!

I loved rocking in the New Year with Daughtry. You guys did a fantastic job and I loved the energy. Chris, stick to your singing career, the dancing leaves a lot to be desired....LOL

I'll start by saying that as soon as I knew you were going to be on... I knew I was staying up. I watched every episode of AI & voted a lot. I had a class the night Chris was booted - my husband sent me a text message and I yelled, WHAT, in class... lol Everyone in class was SHOCKED. Now... I think it's the best thing that ever happened!! The only down side was waiting for your album. I was jonesing so bad I googled and found a myspace page for Absent Element, ordered a CD and listened to that until your album finally came out. =o)

OK... about New Years... At 11 pm I put on FOX and sat glued to the station until I realized you weren't on yet... I then channel surfed and saw several other performances until they finally announced you were next. Once you were done, I surfed some more.

You were literally THE BEST PERFORMER OF THE ENTIRE NIGHT!!!! You were perfect!!

Your competition ranged from someone pathetically lip syncing (and trying to act all sexy to make up for the sad performance) to just down right awful. I'm thinking you should be getting a Grammy any minute now because if some of those others can get them... you should be able to hit a local gum ball machine for yours.

I'm not saying this because I only like rock... that's not the case. I just appreciate a performance that is real! You guys have all worked so hard & wanted this so bad that you appreciate where you're at and give it you're all. Thank you for that!!

I was right there in Times Square during Daughty's performance. Chris and the band were amazing. Such a huge surprise to see him perform. He by far topped BOD; My Chemical Romance; Toni Braxton; Rascal Flats; and Christina.

I also found it pretty ironic that Ryan Secreast was on the ABC Rockin' New Year's stage during Chris' performance. Hope Ryan enjoyed eating crow.......

i was so happy to see chris on FOX. that was the 1st time i heard the song because there were no more copies of the cd!!! it was awesome, and the new band sounds great 2. i wish u would come to rochester, ny. its in the middle of nowhere, & the only famous person who comes here is teddy geiger, whos got nothing compared to daughtry! i love u guys!!!

I watched the whole show and was not disappointed at all. The band sounds FANTASTIC. I have been watching and listening to Chris Daughtry since the beginning when he was on American Idol. Daughtry was just UNBELIEVEALE on new years eve!! Ihad the volume up on the tv so loud & the perfomece was even better than the song is on the cd. I REALLY hope they come 2 AC 2 perform so i can c them, cause im sure if this performence is any indacation, then the show will b the best ever!.
