I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...the first time I heard Chris sing, I was hooked! I have never been a fan of anyone till Chris came along! I have alot of happy memories when it comes to Chris and his music,.. during watching the American Idol show and then going to the American Idol concert at the State Fair in Indy sitting in the 7th row! Then after that his CD came out I was late for work just to get to Wal-Mart to get it! Then me and my sister got tickets to Birdy's bar which sold out in less than 3 minutes, maybe even one minute! I think at first my husband was jealous of my addiction to Chris! Then I caught him listening to his CD and then he ended up makeing his ring tone on his cell phone "It's not over" just like mine! He also is a big fan now! I remember texting my husband and telling him I just met Chris and he couldn't believe it, he was so happy for me. He wants me to get VIP for the next concert,he says I deserve it after all that I have endured these last few months,I did get to meet Chris after the show, I also did shots with Josh and was extremely happy to get the bands autograph on my daughtry T-shirt! I am still lacking a picture with Daughtry which I want more than anything! Shortly after the show,being the hightlight of my life, I was diagnoised with Mesothelioma which is a very aggresive and rare cancer it is from asbestos, where in the world did I, a 31 year old get this? Scary to think I got this in my small town, who else will have to go thru this! I have been through so much, I have been told that I will be lucky to live 4 years. What good is that when I have a 4 year old, I want and need more time and I will fight for it! When I was in surgery my sister told me she bought me tickets to the July 20th show here in Indiana! I was so happy! I am hopeing to get VIP tickets so I can get my picture taken with Chris! I am on a 3 week cycle with my chemo and I should be feeling good that day,I hope I will get that feeling again at the concert and not think about this cancer inside of me. I believe being happy and positive is what fights cancer and I am going to keep listening to Chris and hopefully have an amazing and unforgetable time at my next concert on July 20th!
