What an amazing, unforgettable, fun fun time!!!!
Well, me and my mom went this time. Jacque bailed on me @ noon.. jerk! lol So, my mom really wanted to go and this was her time! I grabbed her from work and we hit the road for Charleston! The drive was awesome! Good conversations, good music, good times! We got lost once we got downtown and I was tired so by the time we got to our hotel I had to take a quick nap! We got ready and headed out around a quarter till 8pm. The line was not very long, we were shocked!!! I was grabbed my moms hand and said upstairs NOW! lol ...It was the best view EVER!!!! I actually SAW the band this time, can you believe it!? I started looking for people, saw Cat, Laurie, and Lfsvr (I swear she thinks I'm crazy! HAHA!) Me and Cat were trying to exchange numbers by signaling each digit with our hands! That was challenging! lol ...I saw DOF for the first time, loved them! OH! And there was a chick fight directly below us!!!!!!!! HAHA! It was awesome.. the lead singer stopped singing and was all, "Uh, we got a fight going on down here.." and then started jammin' again! hah! Then Cinder Road came on, blown away all over again.. these guys are crazy live! So, a song or so into it they said "We have a special guest tonight" ....WHO IS IT? WHO WHO!!!?... JOEY!!!!!!!! AHH!! I'm not sure if I can exactly put my feelings at that moment into words... just awesome! Very special and.. just great! He did Billy Idol's Rebel Yell to perfection! He looked great, sounded great, and his stage presence is addictive! I've been wanting to see him live.. singing that is, for a loooong time! The guys from CR were rockin' all over the place ... they really were having such a good time! That's always good to see! Ok, so then our boys came out, everyone went psyco! lol My mom went nutty too! He covered Black and sang us a song from their new album, along with the rest of the songs they normally do. Let me tell you, the new song = LOVE! Such a great, great song!!!! I am getting excited now more than ever for the next album! All of the songs were right on point! Me and my mom were off in our own little world, taking pictures, singing, dancing, waving my glow stick (mini saber, hah)! When they did There and Back Again, Joey went on forever beating those drums! LOL It's like...ok done!...no, wait...one more time! *BAM!*...done!..one more time *BAM*! for like a minute straight! Good stuff. Some things I noticed: Chris' voice was awesome!!! Most importantly, the guys (all of them) just seemed soooo incredibly happy! I have never seen them look/act so ..happy! Good for them! If they're happy, so am I! My mom was a tropper! She hung in there with me through the entire show but then afterwards she was like, "Get me outta here now!!!" So... guess what that meant? Another show, no hanging out afterwards But, again, its all gravy baby! The show was fresh, exciting, energetic, and memorable... so so sad for it all to be over with *sigh* BUT, I did get looooots of pics this time for my DO peeps I practiced with the settings during DOF, so there are not a lot of them... CR's pics tuned out great!.. and then the whole lighting for Daughtry threw off my camera settings, BUT I have pics! WOOOO!!! lol enjoy...
