AWESOME SHOW!!!

I was one of the lucky ones to catch the Daughtry show at Jesters Pub and it was one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. My friends and I got to the club around 5 and a line was already forming, and the doors didn't open until 7. It was way beyond hot outside waiting to get in. We ended up being about 10th in line to get in. When we got in the club, we were lucky enough to get a spot at the stage. The first band, Day Of Fire, was awesome. They have new fans in all of us. The second band, Cinder Road, was okay, but it would've been fine with me if it would've been just Day Of Fire and Daughtry performing. When Daughtry took the stage, the place went crazy! During one of the songs, I got to give Chris a fist bump. When he finished performing Home, he had three picks left to throw out. He threw the first two out in the crowd and then went to slap hands with me and gave me the pick! After the show, my friends and I went behind the club to see if we would be lucky enough to meet Chris. The drummer, Joey Barnes, came out and signed autographs and posed for pictures with the fans. He was extremely nice to everybody out there. Around 12:30-12:45, we were almost ready to go home because we had an hour drive home, when we heard the tour manager say that our patience had paid off. I looked up and Chris was coming to sign autographs for the people still left out there. The tour manager told us he didn't have a lot of time out there, so needless to say everybody was trying to get to him. He was super nice and very gracious to everybody there. He signed for everybody and posed for pictures with people if they asked him to. I had met Chris in Greensboro at the American Idol tour last year, so I asked him to sign an 8x10 of me and him and he also signed my cd. I know I speak for everyone left out there last night when I say thanks for coming out there and meeting the fans. I know that it meant a lot to me and the people I was with that they got a chance to meet him. It was a great end to an already great night. If you have a chance to see him in concert...GO!!! It will be well worth the price of the ticket!
