My Columbia, SC Review

I was talking to Gwen Sacey on the board here and she asked me last week after they had already annouced the Columbia, SC VIP winner and it was not me, Gwen or Rebekah. She then says hey lets just see if we can get tickets. So needless to say a day later we had a hotel room at the Hampton Inn right next to the venue and 3 tickets. Thank god my work was very nice and understanding to give me 2 days off. Even thought I think my work is wondering if I will ever have enought of Daughtry.

The three of us decided that were going to be the "GA Girls" and set out to have a damn good time. As Gwen said in her review we came up with the Daughtry drink it consist of Volka, Pineapple juice and a splash of Tonic. Very good trust me we were feeling no pain.

After having several drinks we decided to go check out the buses and the venue. Since the line was still fairly short we took off to the buses meet several of Daughtry's road crew and just had a good time talking to them. While we were standing there "CHRIS" came out and signed one autograph and went straight to the bus. My only chance to see him and I was on the wrong side of the fence.

I did get several chances to talk to Mike from Cinder Road and several of the other band members they are really nice guys. I have to say that I am now their fan. Looking forward to their new CD coming out on June 19th. If I can get someone to go with me I will go see then when they are in Atlanta in July.

About the concert I think Gwen and Rebekah have summed it op pretty darn good. Since I am not as good with my words. I will just say it was a GREAT SHOW as always. It was nice where I was standing I had a great view of Joey Barnes and he was so hot playing the drums with NO SHIRT on. The other 2 concerts I wasn't able see Joey real good.

Now for after the show - meeting the guys again was great. Brian was the first to come out and since I had a little buzz I yelled out hey Brain you guys were awesome and he yells back at me and said "Thanks" he was in a very good mood. So I run up and I think I jump in line(sorry ladies) to get his autograph for Gwen since I had her pictures. Then Joey Barnes came out then right behind him was Josh Steely. Joey and Josh were so nice and kind. They both gave me a big bear hug so needless to say I was grinning from ear to ear. Like the cat that sallowed the canary....LOL. Joey was so funny while we were taking the group shot thanks to their manager for taking several pictures for us. We all got some great pictures. We missed not seeing Joah Paul I sure hope he is in Atlanta this Saturday for StarFest. I am bring my 8 yr old daughter and she would be so disappointed. As for Chris he was not feeling well so he did not come out. But after talking to his staff it sounds like they are taking very good care of him. Yes I was disappointed after this being my third show to still not have Chris autograph on my CD cover. I guess I will also be like Gwen 20 years from now stilling trying to get my CD cover signed. Heck I am already 41 chasing this man around for and autograoh. I sure hope 3 shows soon to be 4 this Saturday does not classified me as a crazy stalker like the ones that have ruined it for the rest of us. Heck I can not blame him he has a family that he has think think about. So Yes Chris I totally understand why you have to keep your distance just wish there didn't have to be crazy people out there.

Can't wait to see all of you guys in ATLANTA. Heck if you get the notion a little shout out would be great to the "GEORGIA GIRLS". I will be in the front row with my daughter next to the right of the stage(your right). Look for my daughter banner.

Keep on Rocking,

Kim
