i attended the show yesterday at the indy 500, and i got to admit i'm very disappointed, not with chris but with "xm satelite" they were the ones who sponsered the show. so heres my story. i arrived at the stage at 8:45 in the morning the show didnt start until 12:00 but i wanted to make sure i got a good spot. let me tell you it was raining all morning. i was able to get a spot in the front to the left of the stage. i was so excited to get that spot because i stood in line for an hour before tickets went on sell for the verizon concert that will be in july, i was third in line and still got seats way back in the back.so i knew this would be my only chance to get any good pictures and see chris up close. so it's 10 minutes before the show starts and "xm" bring in 30 "VIP" people that work for "XM" and they put them all right in front of me.when i asked XM what was going on they said these people were "VIP"s and if it wasnt for them daughtry wouldnt be there. then when the crowd started to get upset one of the "VIP" made a comment to the crowd saying if you all had thousand of dollars you could be VIP. It was a real slap in the face after waiting for three hours in the rain then these people come in ten minutes before the show and stand in front you. and to top it all off the pictures that i did get on my digital camara when i put my card in my computer it erased all my pictures. but i was still thrilled with seeing chris, he is the only person i have bought tickets for a concert in 17 years.
