Anyone in Chicago going to the FREE Show on MONDAY???
Hey all! Just wanted to see if anyone was going to the Daughtry show monday night in Chicago at the House of Blues. It is at 6pm, doors open at 5 and it is free for the first 300 people!
I am going and am absolutely going crazy at the thought of being like 3 feet away from him. I am going to freak out!!!!

YAY! See...the cougars remember! Not that I drank it, but I do remember it and it is THE FIRST thing I thought of when I watched the video. They ran that spot with "Right Now" by Van Halen. I am not sure why my brain operates like this, but it does! You'll get backstage! I know you will! 
Robin...I am having an oasis put in my backyard! lol No, remember I told you I don't do landscaping? And Tiff got all over me? Well, it's been 2 weeks already...and they are still working. It is going to be beautiful!

Just been busy with getting ready for Crue Fest. I've been schmoozing this guy who lives in Denver to give me backstage passes. He found out yesterday he's got 5 to give away. I'M BEGGING him like you would not believe! It's kind of crazy, I can't believe I couldn't sleep last night. I'm so tired!

Cam, you should have joined Joe this week and hired someone to paint with Sophiak. The pool is calling my name. After my to-do list.
And, you don't remember Crystal Pepsi Robin because it isn't around anymore, despite Pepsi's advertising efforts during the 1992 Superbowl. Yup, money well spent. Anywho...the commercial reminds me of the WAN video. Not the content. But, yea. Only ad FREAKS like me would remember this. I have a bizzare brain.

Between babies, my kids activities, a wedding, a funeral, and buying a new home...I have not had time to post....It looks like everyone else is having a crazy summer as well!!!
Tiff, sorry I didn't make it to the benefit, had every intention, but had to go to Danville for a funeral
hope it was successful...Until the next show...no funeral will stop me from going to a show.. unless it is mine....lol

No I cannot tell you what, but Karma is going to kick my ass!!!!!! You all may want to avoid me for a while cuz it was bad bad bad!!!!!! I'll let you know next week if what I did was worth the chance I just took on blowing Karma!

As I put some Philadelphia Cream into my cup of java this am...I realize the CAT is back in my yard. Will this mess ever be finished? Last week of meets and games. That means summer is coming to an end. Time for a bday party for a certain TWEEN (omg!) and a vacay in the sun. I actually need sun right now!

Just because I have nothing else to occupy my time. I have no man..and no kids. I work..but that only takes up about 9-10 hrs a day 4-5 days a week. then what? SEE..nothing. Might as well go to a show and blow an eardrum! lol

Mo...I did get pics from my nosebleed seats...but they aren't that great. I also got some vid...also not that great. That $%&^% eats up your battery life! I should have held out for 'after the show'. Really, what am I going to do with those pics anyway??? I have HUNDREDS of other pics...mmmm...and haven't done a thing with them. Someday...when the kids are in college!

seen the Dark Night? I heard from a few people at work that is was awesome. I can't wait to see it. They said it was sad in a way too because of Heath Ledger. They said this was his best role ever

MJ was one of the people I liked as well..but I'm SOOO glad DC got it. I think he's gonna do great things.
So yesterday I must have squeeled like a little girl. Kenn from Under The Flood emailed me to tell me the guys would be back in Colorado on the 17th with Hurt. I'M STOKED!
THEN I get an email from Egypt Centrals page telling me they will be back in CO on the 19th in Colorado Springs and on the 20th in Denver, which is an hours drive. Now...I feel bad for Lorraine, since her hubby is supposed to be back in town for his mid-tour visit around the time of the EC show's. She's torn..lol She LOVES her hubby, and misses him terribly, but hates that she may have to miss EC. It's up in the air for her, but you can bet your p'tooty I'll be there! Alone or not!

6 out of 10. No Cookie, Raimiele or Carly. Cook was out for just a minute and we were in the wrong place. Ramiele and Carly did not come out at all. And Archie...he was out but impossible to see over the people! And, my kids didn't want his. OUCH!
I will get DC's. Eventually. lol
So...the hot dog total please???? What did the 'special order dog' pull in???? I wanna know!

btw...the show was great. Bad part...you know...everyone wanted to SIT. WE wanted to STAND. You know the rest. UGH! HELLO!!!! It is a CONCERT!
There were no chairs as props this time, but someone got some new girlfriends. WOW! They really showed the top 12...not 10.

ok, so I was MIA bc my lifeline was CUT. Landscaping has its downfalls!!! BUT..the fortress is still in progress!
Cammicita did not go with me. She stayed back in Fort Fun. I missed her. BUT I did get to take my sis in her place. Our seats were not great (and Cam, we should have bought the "add on section"...they got ALL the love). We DID get autographs after the show...and I would have gotten pics IF I REMEMBERED TO PACK THE EXTRA BATTERIES FOR MY CAMERA!!! I used it for a swim meet earlier in the day and charged them up...and left them on the counter. $!%$#!%$^&@%^**
No desert after the show. lol My Aussie you all don't like is the biggest sweetie of them all.
AMAZING. I love him!!! He must have signed 800 autographs. DC came out for a minute, signed about 10 and then made a B-line for the bus. 
There were waaaay too many people and we were on the other side, so we were not one of the lucky ones. The highlight...my sis got an air kiss and eyebrows from MJ. I didn't see anyone else get that! I wish I had my heels on! &^%$&^!%$(*!%#$(^% She is a good 2 inches taller than me...then add on the heels! He is VERY tall! Love that! She is out of her mind! The height helped getting siggys. 
I am exhausted. The little Linda's did well and worked it hard. Brooke and Christy Lee loved them.
They are sound asleep.
Hope the hot dogs went for big bucks!!! Report back, fish sticks! lol

Robin. I liked him, but not as much as I liked Chris. After meeting him yesterday and seeing him interact with Zoe...I fell in love with his spirit. He's got such an amazing personality and is honestly a very genuine person. When he talks to you, his eyes never wander and he DOES make you feel like you are the only person in the room.

Bad enough, I have Crue fest on the 27th...Shinedown on the 29th, Saving Abel and Rev Theory on the 1st..

Spade looks a little different since his days in front of the firing squad.
So Ive had Poison, Saving Abel, Puddle of Mudd, Drowning Pool all this week in my back yard... AND I got to shovel pooh, my "work" boots were a little smelly... lol (yeah lj some of us work in our cowboy boots LMAO). And show some livestock. 
Collect dogs for tomorrow night. WISH US LUCK!!! I collected my outstanding dogs today. ALl the edibles and flower goods. Shoudl be a good time. We pulled ourselves outta the pool at 10pm tonight... we were still diving for sticks and fishies... I call them fish sticks.

It's the start of a weekend...everyone is trying to stay cool!
Lorraine and I went to Denver today, Ace was doing a home-town in-store at Best Buy for his CD release. Ok..can I just say, that man is so beautiful! He's SOOO danged nice and will look you in the eye and make you feel like you are the only one standing in a room of hundreds!
He's amazing to hear live and his CD is very good! love it!
Does he not have one of the most amazing smiles?

btw...the bundt is TOOO LONG, thank god it's getting cut on Monday and glazed next Friday! whew

Sorry Tiff. There was D R A M A at the pool and all of it happened in the small time slot I had to return your call. All this and me having to be home every 30 minutes to refresh ice, check on the bobcat,walk Sophiak, see if second sh*tload of bricks arrived and prep for the big meet. I AM TIRED!!!

And, I realize that holy crap! I exfoliate every day!! Maybe that's my trouble!! The lady at Este Lauder did tell me I shouldn't do that but my face seems yucky if I don't. But no oily skin here, is dry dry dry!
So I have a dilemma. One of our major sponsors gave me 4 box seat tickets to the White Sox game next Wednesday. Not only does the number 4 create an issue, there are way more people than that in the office, but it's three days before my hot dog sale. How can I finalize everything when I am at a Sox game. Hmmmm. Do not worry though, I will figure it out, because who in their right mind would turn down box seats right? Their statement yesterday, "bring a mitt!" I'll let you all know how that turns out. I really wish it were Cubs Box Seats! I need to get in with their major sponsors!
Gosh, I hope Nat feels better soon! She needs a concert!

TOday Im all about the pool... Nat has pneumonia. Our benefit is Saturday, AS WELL AS MY COUSINS WEDDING. Talk about last minute... but seeing as how he lives on a submarine he is forgiven. He is only able to be ome for three days so we are running running. Tonight is the HOI Fair, and my tan is fading Ive been too busy... oh that and you cant swim with new ink, or your an idiot.
