I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... That is a good question. Let me start by saying, I wasn't always. When Chris was on AI, I thought he was good. Everyone at work thought he was going to win, and I said, "No he won't, They try to make them out to be POP IDOL, not rock idols." I thought Chris more suited to Rock, than Pop. For me that was end of story. Fast forward to a few weeks ago. Let me also say. I have never liked Rock music. I am a die hard country fan and pop fan. I can stand Rock, but not a fan. NOW I AM! I have satelite radio and I have been hearing Daughtry on there a lot, and I liked what I heard so much that I had to go out and buy my first Rock CD.

My 67 year old mom even likes the CD.

I really can't get into a singer, If I can't respect the person, not just the artist. Chris seems to me to have his feet on the growned and is level headed, even as he dreams, he has many layers, a business man, a family man, as well as a rock star, so I can tell I will be a fan for years to come.
