ok.. When I read the whole story, I got teary eyed! HE is such a great guy! Thats a great first time experience for such a young little girl! I'm 30 and still cant get over my high from meeting them and seeing them twice! The second concert I went to my niece was there and he gave her one of his black bracelets that he had on... someone else asked for one and he said, I can only give out one.. but you can go buy them at Claires.. thats where I get mine! & then he gave us a big smile! It made her night! Shes also only 6 years old, so to these kids he is such a hero! Glad she got the chance to meet him & you too!
omg your daughter is so lucky! i am 13 and he said that he couldnt take a picture with me, but i guess he has a soft spot in his heart for the little kids.

So, I was in Wichita last night for Daughtry concert #3!! Took my husband, of course, but also included our 5-year-old, Rhiannon. This was Rhiannon's FIRST CONCERT EVER!! She is a huge Daughtry Fan, just like her mom. She got to enjoy the entire concert atop Daddy's 6ft shoulders and had the best view in the house!! I'm so jealous.
After the show, I mingled around waiting for the guys to make an appearance while Daddy and Rhiannon wandered around the fairgrounds. After awhile, the usual suspects made an appearance and signed autographs. This was the only concert thus far where there was a 7ft chain-link fence between the fans and the guys, so we couldn't get right up by them. But, they were very accomodating as usual and autographed anything the fans handed them. Finally, Chris came out of the shadows!! I quick called my husband on the cell phone and told him to get over to the bus because all the guys were out and Rhiannon could get her shirt signed!! They ran over and waited by the fence with me.
Joey and Josh were shirtless for most of the autograph session and I enjoyed the eye-candy they provided! They all made their way around the fence and left nobody out. Chris was in a fabulous mood. This is the 3rd time I've seen him and he's never been so relaxed. I think the barrier made him feel more secure. He really loosened up and was joking with everyone!! When he got to my area, Rhiannon stuck her arm through the fence and said his name. He looked down and said, "Hey Darlin'." She said, "Will you sign my shirt please?" He said,"Of course," and we handed it over the fence. She beamed after he signed it and put it back on immediately. Then Daddy hoisted her up on his shoulders so she could see Chris better. Rhiannon told Chris, "I'm your big fan!" and he grinned that beautiful grin. My husband asked Chris if we could take his picture and then he shocked us!!! Not only did he say "yes", but he hoisted himself up on the top of that 7ft fence just to get close to Rhiannon. I was so excited I could barely get the shot off!!! Others asked him to do the same, but he said, "only for the kids" and kept going. I saw him do it one more time for another even smaller child and then that was it.
My 5-year-old has not descended from her Daughtry lined cloud!!! What a way to experience your first concert!!! Chris you are the best!!
