I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... Daughtry is the best band out there right now this cd has been the ONLY cd I have ever been able to listen to without skipping to another song & it doesn't hurt that the guys are hot but my heart is only for Chris But seriously this band is just awesome they actually care and take time for their fans and that means alot to us, Everyone should be so lucky to meet such a great group of guys keep up the great work! All your fans are here with you till the end!........
And another reason is....... because...music touches so many lives every single minute of every single day. It is the determinent of a persons mood and the situations they are facing. Chris Daughtry has been one of those determinents for me. Everyday on my way to school, on my way home, going to the gas station, a powerful surge of energy and willpower comes over me when I am listening to his music. I think of how strong he is and how well he has handled his career, and it makes me want to continue to do what I have always dreamed of doing. The lyrics, the voice, the music, overwhelms me and takes over me every single time. I can not get enough of that beautiful voice and not to mention, face. :] He's everything that any person could possibly want in a musician. He has inspired me in too many ways to list and has given me the "gift". What is that gift you may ask? It is the gift of never giving up. Of always pursuing what it is that I long to love. It is the gift of striving for that goal, even though people may try to tear me down and rip me apart along the way. This man is a hero to me. This man is the most talented and goal-oriented man I have ever seen. This man has been my American Idol since the beginning. This man is Chris Daughtry. truly feel I have found an artist that has all the characteristics, beliefs and inner strength to become a highly respected icon in the music industry. Chris has a voice that stops you in your tracks, captures your heart and warms your soul. You can "feel" his passion and the pouring of emotion in every song he sings. He is the real deal. His songwriting touches you deep... reminding you of lost memories, personal relationships, hope for the future and true life. Chris has successfully channeled versatility, integrity and humanity into his music.
It's funny.... I have never been a "fan" of anything. I never understood or "got it". Never felt a desire to meet a star or artist. Here I am at 15 on the Daughtry official website daily, I, I video vote, I radio request (the station knows me by name ) I Chris is magnetic. He has a God given gift and is so very deserving of the success he receives. It is an honor to be a fan and support Daughtry.
