I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

Chris has such an infectious sounding voice He's brought me so much happiness ever since the 1st time I saw him on Idol, and it amazes me how he just keeps getting better and better! In the words of Simon Cowell, "Thank God for Chris!" And to think that Simon wasn't even going to let him past the audition process - but thankfully, Paula and Randy DID see how GREAT he really was! He is absolutely the best thing to ever have come from Idol period, and for that I'm very grateful to them simply because without that show I might not have ever heard his amazing voice to begin with! Although I still truly believe that the show was rigged - it was definitely for the best that he didn't win because he gained more freedom to be creative and show the world his own brilliant material and style!

I really do admire all of his musical capabilities: having such a great talent with writing his own music, play guitar so well, and his voice... OMG, it just gives me chills every time I hear him sing anything - from his own songs to cover songs to even the national anthem! Chris has such a powerful stage presence that pulls the entire crowd in during his live performances and of course it also doesn't hurt that he's very easy on the eyes, too His humbleness and love and dedication to his wife, kids, and fans just adds even more to the WOW factor. Talk about being the "Total Package!"

Also, he really couldn't have picked a better bunch of guys for his band to join him in his inevitable rise to stardom! They ALL compliment his style so much - each with their own fantastic musical talent! IMHO, this entire group of guys will be as BIG or perhaps even BIGGER than the Beatles! I just can't wait to hear their next record which will showcase all of the guys amazing musical talents, but I know it'll be a while still even though they're already working on it, simply because there will be so many #1 hits still to come off this 1st record! Well anywhoo, that's my story and I'm sticking to it, haha!!!

Daughtry's music has helped me through some very difficult times in my life. Not only does this band sound truly amazing, but many of the songs' lyrics seem to come directly from within my own life experiences and have helped me to relieve some of my emotional pain. Thank you so much, Chris for touching my heart with such meaningful songs and helping me to feel some hope again.

I truly love every song on the CD, but "Gone", "Breakdown", "Home", "All These Lives", and "It's Not Over", really do hit close to home for me. I'm 44 years old, and I just have to say that it's been a very long time since I've come across a band that has so many songs on just one record so I can actually listen to the entire CD without having to skip through any of the tracks! The last one was by the Eagles - "Hell Freezes Over" in 1994, and that was actually more of a compilation of many years worth of their best material.

Also, Daughtry's music has brought me even closer to my 20 year old daughter, who hated American Idol, but grew to love the bands Absent Element and Daughtry after Chris was voted off - Ya'll really "Crashed" into us both - Keep on rocking guys!!!
