You guys should come back!!
This concert ROCKED!! I love Nickelback and Staind is cool, but Daughtry is above them both!!! I am so glad i got to be a part of a SOLD OUT Blossom concert and sooo close to home!! You guys should definitely come back, but headline the show!!! Keep Rockin!!
Daughtry at Blossom Music Theatre
I was at this concert and it was completely awesome. The performance by Daughtry was incredible. Daughtry is my favorite band, and it was well worth the money to see them. I hope that they will be coming back to Blossom soon! If not, I'll just have to drive a little further to watch them, because they were the best act of the night. They were SO good!!!!
rocks
This concert was so sweet!!!!!!!! I love daughtry. Its my life goal to meet chris. Theres not a day I go with out thinking of him and how i can meet him.
Blossom with Nickelback and Staind
Yes, we somehow managed to get there with 10 minutes to spare! My 12 year old offically changed his #1 band to Daughtry after this concert and I would like to thank Chris for refraining from using any profanity, so I didn't have to cover his ears like I did for Nickelback(although they are an excellent band also!) Let's not forget Staind too put on a good show!
AMAZING
Hey guys.. So I am a little late but I went to the Daughtry concert on July 10th in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio... My favorite, well one of my favorite, songs is CRASHED and I was very upset that we were coming in and they were already playing crashed... but its all good, we didn't miss the full thing because we ran like hell
.... They were absolutely amazing, but I mean come on I kinda expected that... So Alisha (Ladyish18) and I rocked out during Daughtry and then when they were finished, we tried to find every way possible to get backstage... umm would've tried ANYTHING but I didn't really want to get arrested bc my grandpa had died the previous day and I had to make it back to WV the next day for this Wake & Funeral... If it werent for that I would've met Daughtry lol... anyways ... not much more to say, Nickelback and Staind were good also, but not as GREAT!! I will put up photos later... much love to everyone and if you get a chance check out DAUGHTRY they totally ROCK the STAGE!!! Can't wait to see them again!!
LOVE 4 DAUGHTRY ... Keep Rockin

it's been a week and a half and still, cant get over it!
This show, was ultimately amazing. The performance was indescribable. I had to see from a distance, but I could hear perfectly and I still had a good view. I was a little upset about the crowd though... Due to traffic, alot of people missed DAUGHTRY and they had to play for a half full place; and they didnt get half the energy they deserved. I for one, am proud to say I lost my voice by the time Staind came on from cheering & singing so much, I tried to make up for the lack of people around me. I looked like an ass standing there singing & screaming when everyone around me was just sitting there; but I had fun :]
I pretty much freaked out when Chris opened "crashed" with the infamous megaphone, ahh it was great. This was the first time I saw them play "what about now" live and let me tell you, youtube does it no justice whatsoever. I love how Chris is able to strain his voice in that song and still control it, it amazes me. THEY BETTER KEEP IT ON THE SET LIST ;] They teased me though... they started the beat of "sunday, bloody sunday" in the middle of "there and back again" and I started screamingggg because I love their version, but then they didnt play it. Oh well, they still kicked ass with the rest of "there and back again."
This show was AMAZING, cant wait to see them again ;]

I too am sorry for those who missed the show. I came from downtown Cleveland and was there in 45 minutes but got lost on the way back..It was the first time I got to see Daughtry and it was so freakin' GREAT..I NEED to see them again..I am totally addicted...I truely need to see them alone and after what I saw Tuesday they will be headlining soon..Crashed and Breakdown were my favs but everything Rocked..Thank you for the best experience of my 49 years..Please hurry with the next single, I need something more to request..
wow
This concert was awesome. I am sorry for those of you who missed it. We drove in all night from West Virginia, slept a few hours, went shopping all day, then got ready. We left the house at around 6 to go to the concert and we were walking down the lawn as daughtry was playing Crashed. We got stuck in a little traffic but nothing really bad. Love love love daughtry can't wait to see them again. My whole reason for driving the 5 hours was to see daughtry, wish they could've played all night, really wish I would've gotten the chance to meet them.

SO PISSED AT BLOSSOM MAKING ME MISS DAUGHTRY
I'm sending Blossom this letter below that I wrote:...
Last night I attended the Nickelback/Daughtry concert at your venue, and I would like to explain some issues with this event.
I have been to Blossom before, so I am aware of the long walk from your vehicle to the front entrance and was expecting that. The night before the concert I received an email from Blossom Music Center, which I am assuming was sent via Ticket Master since they have my email address on file. The email said that the concert was sold out and due to construction and traffic I should arrive there by 5:00pm. I then rearranged my day so I could make sure to be there at that time, so I would not miss the show. I drove an hour, and arrived at the Ohio Turnpike Exit for Blossom at exactly 5:02pm. I then drove a few miles, and when I was exactly 4.7 miles from the entrance to Blossom, according to my GPS Navigation system, I became involved in traffic at a dead stop. For the next three hours, I very slowly moved the 4.7 miles and finally arrived at the front entrance to Blossom at 8:07pm! By the time I walked to the gate from my car, the Daughtry band had already played and was off the stage for the night! I then had to turn right back around and walk all the way back to my car and go home. I am absolutely furious about this, because I was specifically told from your email that I needed to arrive by 5pm, which I did! This can not be the first concert in your history that has been sold out, so obviously you have had this traffic problem before. With this in mind, your sending out an email telling me to arrive by 5:00pm was obviously a completely unreliable notification! Had the email said I needed to be in the area by 4:00pm, I would have rearranged my schedule, and done just that, thereby allowing me to make it into the gate by the starting time of 7:00pm. For the few minutes that I was actually inside the gate, I spoke with quite a few other people that were just as enraged as I was about this situation, as they also were only attending the concert to see Daughtry. Not only did I waste my entire evening, but basically I wasted almost $100.00 between the ticket costs and gas money to drive to this concert for something that could have easily been avoided had you sent out a correct email. If perhaps you had not even sent an email out, then I would have nobody to blame if I arrived late, but the fact that you told me to arrive by 5:00pm really infuriates me because that was obviously not the time I should have arrived! Blossom Music Center obviously can not handle large events like this and I did absolutely nothing wrong since I was following instructions given out by your venue! I am irate with Blossom Music Center and will not be attending any events there in the future!
hell yea
all i can say is that the show kicked ass, and id pay to see it again.. and again and again.. you guys rock!

great!
The best concert ever. Daughtry rocked the house, I loved how you came out to Crashed! Thats one of my fave songs! I felt so far away being on the lawn, especially since they didnt use the big screens or lights, but it was amazing just the same. The whole 45 minutes seems like a blur now, it went so fast! I loved how at the end of What About Now, you heard Chris's voice crack, & the whole crowd just "awwws". It was cute & let people realize that no one's perfect! I loved the concert, amazing, hopefully I get to see another where youre the main act.
-Sarah
ps did anyone else realize they called it the daughtry concert??
Never Disappoints!!
So sorry for all of you fans that missed the show
The Daughtry boys rocked the house!! Of course, we wanted them to play longer, but it was a jam-packed 45 minutes that did not disappoint for one minute. Loved the intimate venue in Columbus in March - felt so far away being in the pavillion, but I'm just glad I was there. Can't wait for the August show at the Ohio State Fair! We'll be there rockin' out with you, Chris!! Hope you play "Over You" at that show!
PS - Loved talking to all of you fellow Daughtry fans! Thanks for all of the compliments on my custom-made Daughtry shirt!! See you August 1st!

Rock On! Chrisluvr
I bet it was a tease....
On my video of it, you can hear me scream. "omg they are doing sunday bloody sunday!!!" and then "this is myu favvvvveee song" then nothing! I was kinda upset, but that went away as soon as I heard the rest of There and Back Again.

AWESOME!!!
I could not believe how packed Blossom was for you guys, the opening band!!!! I came to see you guys! It was even more amazing then I expected. I can't wait to see you guys as the headliner! It is a bummer though that they pump up the lights and sound for Nickleback, but your time is coming soon. We'll see you at Blink Festival in North Lawrence Ohio! !
cdsbiggestfan...
I DID HEAR "Sunday" during "There and back again" at the show in Muskegon. I spazzed immediately cause I'm a huge U2 fan and have hoped at both shows I've been too they would sing it. So I heard the riff...then it was gone. It was a tease or JP's wish....
GREAT SHOW
I guess I never come over here to post.
I feel awful for those that missed the show.
I had posted about the possible traffic issues in the forum. Between the construction and the president it was AWFUL. Lucky for us we knew the back ways and did not hit ANY TRAFFIC. We arrived at 4 and we even got out of there in under an hour which was impressive.
The concert was great!
Here are a few of my pics I took from the front row. I also managed to get a pick, I am STILL on CLOUD 9 from the
Loved the concert
Daughtry waw awesome!! I thought that I was going to miss them also, we walked in as they were in the middle of Crashed, so I ran to my seat as fast as I could. I also had pavillion seats, but after seeing them in the smaller venue, I felt like I was so far away. But I'll take seeing them anytime, anywhere. I can't wait to have the come back to the area and headline. They were the only reason I went to the concert. Nickelback was good too, but I never can have enough Daughtry!!!!
Awesome show!
Aside from it being incredible hot and crowded, it was the concert experience of my adult life!
I took my son and daughter as a 16th birthday present. We had lawn seats and when Daughtry started playing we were on our feet dancing.
My son was too cute...he didn't even know that Chris had been on American Idol. He says "And he didn't win??"
I'm sorry that for all those who missed him and the band sing. We arrived at 4:30 and the traffic was not too bad then. From what I read, I'm glad I left my house as early as I did.
Anyway.....great show!!!!
Chris Daughtry is the next mega-rockstar!
I arrived at Blossom at 4:45, but the wait until 7:00 was well worth it, in fact, although I love Nickelback and have seen them in concert before, the real reason I went was to see Chris! I respect performers who begin their concerts on time, and Chris's band took the stage at exactly 7:00pm! Although I had a pavillion seat, I wish I could have been close-up down in the pit, next time I'll spring for the expensive tix. The only thing that marred the experience was the mother-daughter beer guzzling team in the front of our section (36) who stood through almost his entire concert (they weren't dancing, just standing drinking beer) in spite of repeated requests to please sit down so the rest of us could see, they refused, but I refused to let them ruin my experience! I also believe the crowd was shortchanged as Chris sang for only 50 minutes, he could have easily gone on for 90 minutes, so promoters, listen up, next time we want more Chris!!!
Did anybody else?
Did anybody else think that at the middle of "there and back again" they started the tune to "Sunday Bloody Sunday"? I got soooooooooo freeeeking excited and then they didn't do it...but there and back again still rocked! Just wondering if anybody else heard that though.

You guys rocked
Sorry to hear everyone's traffic problems. We had a feeling it would be bad so we left here at 2:30 and arrived at 3:45.
The concert was awesome despite the 4 rude walking ads for condoms sitting in front of me and my mom. Next time I am going to go for the more expensive seats.
I got a few pics but I was to far away
My videos turned out better but I have to wait til I can get on the high speed internet to upload them.
Here are the best pics I was able to get.

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!!!
loved it! loved everything about it! (except the crowdedness) DAUGHTRY BLEW THE HOUSE AWAY! BEST CONCERT EVER! (besides Grog of course!) I know what you mean about him opening up "what I Want" with crowd interaction..it went a lil something like...wha-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah-ah...lol....
I am soooo sorry to hear about people getting stuck in traffic, We got there at 3:30 and people were pouring in! Chad from Nickelback said 30,000 people! Isnt that more than the free concert in Greensboro! OMG THAT CRAZY! HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE! THANKS DAUGHTRY FOR AN AMAZING SHOW! (AGAIN
)
PS. If that video link doesnt work up there, go here and you can watch it.

Traffic`
I have a friend in Ohio who let me know this morning of the traffic you guys experienced. According to her, there was an accident with multiple fatalities that caused the backup. I'm in KY so I know nothing first-hand, but that's the story according to her. I'm so sorry for you guys that didn't make it in time. I would be crushed, too.
Wait...
Please don't mistake my disappointment for bitterness...I am so happy for all of you who made it in time to see the guys. I really thought I was leaving plenty early enough, for some reason though, that one exit was a hella-mess!!! I started a couple of times to try a different exit as well, but I was terrified that if I did, I'd end up even further back in line *We were pretty much on the exit ramp for an hour*. I just didn't want to take the chance. Of course, looking back, I feel stupid. I wasn't real sure how to get in the back way either so...
So, I've decided I'm gonna hit ebay to check for tickets to the show on August 1 at the Ohio State Fair. I missed out on the Grog Shop and that broke me heart, and now this, I just can't take it. The thought of having to wait months or even a couple of years for the guys to come back to the area scares me to death! To miss them 3 times in a matter of months is just heartbreaking!
So, wish me luck *now that I think about it I'm still holding out for VIP for that show*. Hopefully I'll find a nice, wonderful person on ebay who won't take me for all I have!!
Rock~On!

Blossom Concert in Akron OHIO
I feel for you stuck in traffic. We drove 2 hours and got there by 4:30 parked. And I agree, I bought a parking ticket with my tickets and when it was over we got right out!!!
In Columbus a smaller venue, I was closer. The pavilion seat was not as close, but the concert was as good as I expected and better. Daughtry was GREAT!! Loved the Mega-Phone!!!! Not so sure about Joey's outfit. CRAZY!!
And as always, Daughtry could have played longer. Only 45 min. but well worth it. Way to go Daughtry.
Nickleback was AWSOME. Never saw a show like it. Pyrotec was amazing. And Daughtry to be there was the icing on the cake. Wish I got a cannon T. Was real close.
Hope to go in August to North Lawrence depends on VIP. Love ya Daughtry.

Crazy. I can't believe that concert. How incrediable!! My only complaint, NOT ENOUGH DAUGHTRY!!!! Can't wait for you to be the headliner. Well deserved.

Missed it!! =o(
It's soo sad.. I also rushed to buy awesome pavilion tickets as soon at they went on sale.. just to see Daughtry!! They were beautiful seats too, we could everything.. However, I was one of those who sat in traffic for 3 hours and totally missed their performance. After missing out on their show at the Grog Shop in Cleveland, I have been looking forward to this show for months! Only to be let down.. I'll try for tickets whenever they come back again.. Maybe 3rd times the charm...
LOVED IT!!!
What a great show last night. I got to Blosom and heard Daughtry playing and ran down the hill to my seat. I would have cried if I would have missed them. I only went for them. I feel so bad for the people that missed them. Daughtry should have played second!!!
OMG!!!
What an awesome concert!!! The only reason why I went was to see DAUGHTRY, and I am so glad I did. I was not able to get tickets to the Grog, so I was very excited that he came back to Cleveland. It sure would of been nice to meet him, but you can't always get what you want!! We heard the traffic was going to be a mess, so we called our limo company to pick us up early, thank god we did because it still took us 2 hours to get there and we got there just in time. I sure hope I get the opportunity to see them again because they are great on stage!! I have to say I am a bit depressed today because I have been looking forward to this concert for two months and now it's over, nothing to look forward to anymore. Thanks to the band for sharing your awesome talent with Cleveland, and hope to see you again soon, I am sure everyone will be on time for your next concert!!!
I can relate to your story!
HeatherKey,
I feel so bad you missed Daughtry! As I said in my post below, we sat at that same spot you did, the Steels Corner exit for over 40 minutes from 5:50 to 6:25. until we finally realized the traffic was going absolutely NOWHERE! I don't understand what was going on there. We only saw about 10 cars move through the light in that time period. They badly needed someone up there directing traffic & we couldn't understand it! We saw people getting out of their cars trying to check out what was going on. I guess my hubbie couldn't take my antsiness anymore so he finally agreed to head up to the next exit. I literally was at the edge of my seat, on pins & needles, ready to cry, thinking we are NOT going to see Chris if we stay here at this exit a MINUTE longer. Again, my heart goes out to you because I was going though the same thing but at least we were seated by the second song. The main reason I bought tickets was to see DAUGHTRY. Yes, Nickelback & Staind are great bands but Chris is WHY I went in the first place!!! Not to see Daughtry would have been a terrible disappointment.!
Forgot to mention, that when Nickelback came on stage, Chad Kroeger said that he heard a rumor that there were 30,000 people there. He said there's been only two other artists to ever sell out like that. Of course, the crowd went wild and he mentioned maybe next year they should start their tour here in Cleveland. Sure hope next year they pick another concert hall, the traffic is just too much to contend with in Cuyahoga Falls. No one should have missed the opening, I know most people allowed at least two hours to get there. Last night you needed three to get in unless you were lucky enough not to pick Steels as your exit!!!
LOVED IT - LOVED IT - LOVED IT
OMG, guys. What a kickin' show last night. I saw the band in Columbus at Lil' Bros in March and was blown away at the intimate level of the gig. I knew I was one of the lucky ones to see you up-close-and-personal. It was an amazing show in Columbus, but what a ROCKIN' show you put on last night. You did not disappoint!! We drove from Columbus yesterday to see the show - being from the Cleveland area originally and knowing that the show was SOLD OUT, we made the trek up early and arrived about 5:30 - DAMN, I am glad we did. I talked with so many that missed DAUGHTRY [our single reason for heading up to begin with]. It was truly amazing.
Guys, the sound was phenomenal and it was great to see the growth and unity of the band since seeing you in March. Clearly, there is great fun and love among every one of you!!
Keep on keepin' on, guys!!
SALUTE!! - k
omg..
I could cry right along with you! I could not imagine being stuck in traffic knowing that Daughtry was playing at a concert that I should of been at! That must of been heart breaking! I am glad you al least got to see them come on stage for a few seconds!

Pass the tissues...
I can't even START to explain the feeling in my stomach this morning...
I bought my tickets for last night's show at Blossom the minute they went on sale, I bought a parking pass, I left work early, I told my son's girlfriend, move it our we're leaving without you...there was NO WAY I was gonna miss Daughtry when they hit the stage...
3 HOURS I sat in traffic!!!!!! 3 HOURS!!!! I never heard them play a note! I was in my car on Steels Corners Rd. at 7:00, and honestly, I wanted to cry. I missed the Cleveland concert in March and was sooooo excited to hear the guys were coming back to the area. Now, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed seeing Staind *who started about 3 minutes after we walked through the gate* and Nickelback. But MY whole reason for going to this show was to see DAUGHTRY!! I honestly would not have bought tickets if they weren't part of the line up. I really thought I planned it out well enough to not have to worry about missing them
The highlight of my evening was when Daughtry came out on stage during Nickelback's set. My son said he didn't think he had ever seen me smile that big...and like a flash they were gone!!
So, I'm back at work this morning *after getting home at 2 a.m.* and I've ordered a few extra boxes of tissues from the supply room...I have a feeling I'm going to need them!
One good thing - I did get my T-Shirt!!!!!!
Rock~On Daughtry!!!! *sniff*

Great concert, traffic a mess
Chris was awesome!!! I saw Chris in March when he was at the Grog Shop so experiencing him on the big stage in front of a huge sell out crowd was quite different. I might admit I did miss seeing him up close. At least we were lucky enough to get pavillion seats even though they were the last row. He started exactly at 7 pm with Crashed so those who got caught in a nightmare of traffic may have missed the first songs. Luckily, after 40 minutes of going no where on the Steels Corners Rd. exit, (I mean nowhere!) drove to the next exit & got right in. We had paid ahead for preferred parking which was the only way we managed to get there on time. Tip to anyone going to Blossom, pay ahead for the preferred parking!!! It's so worth it! We slipped out about 3 songs left of Nickleback and were home in an hour. Normally it would have taken us probably 3 hours with the crazy traffic there.
Chris's voice come though loud & clear and his pitch was awesome. I am so glad the band didn't drown out his vocals like I noticed when listening to Staind. Chris has made another impressive mark in CLEVELAND people! I heard several Nickelback fans commenting how good they thought Chris was-people that maybe hadn't heard his much of his music. They were really blown away!
The only disappointment, I would have loved to have heard him play LONGER but hey, I'm spoiled after the Grog Shop. He was done in about 45-50 minutes & never played Over You which I was surprised. Cause that's the great crowd sing-along that would have been a lot of fun to hear.
You all should be proud of Daughtry last night, he rocked Blossom with style!!! Chris rocked the house!
Tonight
I can't wait until tonight. This will be my husband and I's first concert together since we got married 5 years ago. He bought me the tickets to see Daughtry for Mother's Day. I am just hoping it doesn't rain.
