It is like this.....we are lucky at this point in his career that Daughtry even tries to come out to meet their fans. I have been to a couple of shows now...and I have gotten a chance to meet them and I have not gotten a chance to meet them. It is luck of the draw. As a true fan that is the risk that you are willing to take. If you truly love the band's music and value them as artists then---you are there to see their performance...the music is what it's all about. Everything else is icing on the cake!
We all want that autograph and that pic to capture the moment we got to meet our "star"....but that isn’t what drives us to go to a concert. Bottom line is this....was the show amazing? Was their performance worth the money you paid to get in? I know the answer to that question and I was not even there....because I know the band puts their heart and soul in to EVERY performance. That is their way of giving back to those that are supporting them....and that’s why we love them! I mean do you realize that they have been doing show after show after show? They have been away from their friends and family for months… My advice to you is this….if you did not get what you wanted this show…go to another show…and another….and another…as many as it takes to get that pic or autograph.
Tell you what…...go to another artist's concert. You probably will not even get a glance of that artist let alone get an autograph or picture. Case and point....I took my daughter to an Evanescence concert the day after the Louisville Headliners show.....you could not even take a f--ing camera in to the venue! There was no "meet and greet"...no pics with their fans...Hell...Amy Lee wouldn’t even wave to the fans when she was watching the other bands perform. But she rocked out….and put on one hell of a performance! None the less -- that is an example of a "jaded" artist. You know where that starts....with fans like you! Fans that expect too much from an artist and would rather criticize the small, insignificant things that may go wrong…
In America you have the right to post whatever you want….I love free speech! It is one of the fundamental things that separates us from other countries. But remember….others have free speech too…so expect to take the heat/criticism when others do not agree with the things you say!
